Welcome to Carousel – Spacious Beach House Just a Block from the Gulf


Welcome to Carousel, a bright and inviting 5-bedroom, 5-bath beach house comfortably sleeping up to 16 guests. Perfect for families, groups, or special gatherings, this home offers plenty of space to relax, unwind, and enjoy a classic Gulf Coast vacation just a block from the beach.


The main level features a sunny kitchen and dining area with beautiful views, as well as a cozy living room with a sleeper sofa for extra sleeping options. Two primary suites each offer king beds and updated private bathrooms with large walk-in showers, while a third bedroom with a king bed shares a Jack and Jill bathroom with the living space.


Upstairs, a second living area provides space to watch TV or relax, along with a second sleeper sofa for flexible accommodations. Two additional bedrooms include a queen bed and a bunk room with two sets of bunks—ideal for kids or extra guests.


Just steps from the sand, Carousel makes it easy to enjoy the sun, surf, and Gulf breezes. Relax on the sunny decks, enjoy movie nights indoors, or simply soak up the peaceful beachside vibe. Please note that a new home is being built next door, so some construction may be visible during your stay.


You must be 25 or older to book this property. No smoking, no parties or events. No pets are allowed at this vacation rental.

Family bacation

The size of the property was perfect for our kids and families. There were seven adults and four kids and the place was perfect!Access to the beach was easy and we had views of the gulf between the houses. It wa great!

This home was perfect for our family of 13. Check-in was simple, as all the needed info was provided well before our arrival. The home was spacious, including the kitchen and dining area. We prefer to cook and eat-in for most meals, so we were happy with the space provided.

Orange Beach Cheer competition

Our friends & family group stayed for the weekend for a cheer competition at the Orange Beach Wharf. We were excited for all the bedrooms and so many king-sized beds. The only negative was the mattresses. For two nights we were good, but any longer would have been an issue for me in particular. Everything else was wonderful. Beautiful location, quick 30 minute drive to the Wharf. Very clear instructions for everything. Thanks for keeping such clear communication. We truly appreciate it. Hopefully, we will get to come back again next year!

Awesome Family Vacation Home

Great accommodations!

Our family of 11 ranging from 6 years and up enjoyed this space tremendously. We had the perfect amount of space for us all to gather for meals and even enough space to have alone time. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with many appliances and then some. The walk to the beach was short for it not being directly on the beach. Definitely will be booking this house again!

Great Stay. Small Feedback

Great place to stay for our family. Would stay here again. One small piece of feedback: I think you should add some more hand rail to the stairs from the garage area to the first living level. We had two 70 year olds that could have really used that. There is something to hold on to, but that's only for like half of the stairs.

Family Vacation

This was the perfect spot for our family vacation. With 7 kids and 7 adults, the home felt roomy but homey at the same time. We enjoyed the shared spaces but also loved having our own private bathrooms! The beach was super family friendly and an easy walk. It was also close to Walmart for groceries but the house came with everything else we needed. On our last night we had a pretty bad accident and the management company was super helpful and quick to communicate and help. Our only complaint was the pool- we only went once but the bathrooms were not open, there was no shade and the cleaning company came to pour chemicals in it as we were swimming so we had to leave. This was a great family trip and we will definitely be back!

This trip was the best. The house was immaculate and beautiful. Perfect size for our large group. Just steps away from the beach and pool and all the amenities. We had the best vacation. Thank you! Can’t wait to stay here again.

Beautiful home and fantastic location! Short walk to the beach boardwalk as well as the community pool. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of beach chairs/toys! Our only negatives were not enough bath towels provided and beds were firm and not very comfortable.

Family Beach Getaway 2022

This was the perfect property for our family! We had a group of 14 and their was plenty of room for all of us, the beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed! Have already had request to "stay their next year" Walk to the beach was perfect, and we were able to keep out tent out on the beach all week (great, since we had a couple of little children). Thanks for a great family vacation!

The house was clean and had plenty of space for all of us.

We had a great time. The house had a good view of the beach and was just a minute walk down to the water. The house was clean and had plenty of room for the whole family to spend quality time together. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The subdivision pools could have been a little cleaner but not sure that the fault of the house owner but the subdivision it’s self.

Good house for large group

Had 17 people from 60s to 7 month old. House gave us plenty of room to spread out and everyone have space. Large kitchen and living area. Having access to the pools was fantastic as some of our little ones tired of the sand quickly. No major complaints. Did have a little ant issue, but they sent someone over the very next morning after I sent a message late the night before. So very responsive to issues.

Fabulous Family Vacation Rental

Carousel was a great place to stay for our family. The house is very well equipped in the kitchen and the rooms are beautifully furnished. The bedrooms are a very nice size. The kitchen/eating/great room easily handled our group of 13. The beach is an easy 4 minute walk with the boardwalk very close. We loved the convenience of the carport area to wash off after being on the beach. Lots of places to hang wet things. Plenty of parking space too!! We would definitely stay again!

Amazing House

We stay in Ft. Morgan every year and this is by far the nicest house we have rented. Everything is decorated very nicely. The house has everything you can think of and more. The pictures don’t do it justice. The upstairs is perfect for a family with multiple kids. The extra refrigerator upstairs also came in handy with so many people! The house had tons of board games we enjoyed in the evenings and a big bin of beach chairs/toys to use. The beach is just a short walk. It was more crowded then I have ever seen it, on the beach, in Morgantown Subdivision so finding a spot was difficult. But having the boardwalk one house over made the walk easier…We all enjoyed the house and will definitely rent it again!

Wonderful house and location

We had a great time. The house is very close to the boardwalk to the beach. The community swimming pools are also a short walk. The house easily met the needs of our extended family of18. 4 outside decks increased the living space so we were not crowded at all. We would definitely come back to this house.

Fun for all ages!

We were so pleased by the home! The pictures on line don't do it justice! The rooms are spacious - so much room for our group of 10. Kitchen is well stocked with dining/cooking/utensils. Bring your own spices, oil, etc as those are not included with the kitchen. We brought our own games, but there are TONS of fun games to play. The decks are great to lounge on. The home is a short walk to the beach and to one of the pools. There are beach toys for the kiddos. For the per night cost, we were extremely pleased. Good Value for what we got and the home we stayed in. You will not be disappointed. We did not need to contact the owner for anything while we were there but they were very responsive when emailing prior to and after we left. Thank you for great memories!!

Family Beach Getaway

We had a great time at this beach house with the whole family. The double master bedrooms were perfect for multiple families. The inside is nicely renovated and looks clean and new. The beach boardwalk is so close so that was very convenient. There is an ocean view from the back deck even though the house isn’t right on the beach. The neighborhood pools are also an easy walk (the small one is especially close). The pools are well used and warm in the summer so just expect that, but they were never too crowded to use and the kids had fun regardless. The house has nice furniture and was stocked with some games and most things you would need in the kitchen. We had only minor suggestions there - 1. The coffee maker is super cheap and doesn’t have an auto-shutoff and 2. We couldn’t find any kind of steamer basket or pot to steam shrimp. Overall we were all very pleased with the house, everyone from great grandma to the little kids had a great time and the house was a great place to relax when we weren’t at the beach!

Beautiful Home

We absolutely loved this house. The layout is perfect if you have young adults who like their own space. It's a short walk to the beach and the smaller pool. The large pool is a little further away and hard for the older ones in my family to get to. We really enjoyed our stay and will most like reserve this house again.

Beautiful and spacious house

We stayed in Carousel during May. The house was beautiful and well maintained. It provided plenty of room for my family and the other 2 families that joined us. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and small appliances not listed like a potato masher, crock pot, and blenders. It was nice to be in Morgantown as the 2 pools offered swimming when the 25 mph winds kept us off the beach. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is the amount of conflicting information received from the property management company. I read everything provided and still had questions that needed to be answered. On the positive, they were always quick to answer and give the information I needed through the VRBO app.

Getting away in Ft Morgan

The photos in this listing really don't do the property justice. Everything about it with great! The location was also good for 2 families trying to have some space and find some relaxation while having fun. Highly recommended!

Great house!

The house and beach was great! The area was quite but easy access to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. The was very close to the boardwalk to the beach and the polls were just a short walk. The house was in Morgantown so it was easy access for walking around the area. There were 12 of us staying at the house and everyone really enjoyed it! One nice thing we noticed was that all the light switches are marked which was very convenient and there was a charcoal grill when we got there. It was a wonderful vacation!
