Gulf Shores Surf & Racquet 316A is Cozy 1 bedroom home is ready to host your family for unforgettable fun! With a recent remodel, this home has built-in twin over twin bunk beds in the hall, fresh paint, and décor. The reconfigured Primary Bedroom with an adorable Barn Door boasts a Queen Bed and Private Balcony with a view of the Lagoon. The Full Bathroom is located just off the hall. The fully stocked kitchen can assist in creating tasty meals or order out and enjoy sitting and dining on the Main, Gulf Facing Balcony right off the Living Room and watch the waves! Need more sleeping arrangements? This owner as another home in this complex, #502C, a 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath, great for the in-laws (and the kids, lol) while you enjoy your privacy and peace!! We can sure accommodate you all!!

Gulf Shores Surf & Racquet Club offers the best of both worlds with a deeded, private access to a beautiful beach on one side and the Little Lagoon with a pier, rentable boat slip, and a boat launch on the other. Surf and sun on one, fishing and boating on the other (also Kayak accessible). More great amenities include a beautiful Swimming Pool with a Relaxing Hot Tub, 2 lighted and newly resurfaced Tennis/ Pickleball Courts, Shuffleboard, 2 Grilling Areas with 3 Grills each, a Fish Cleaning Station, and Spectacular Views from every angle!

*Beach Chairs & Umbrellas: Sometimes guests leave behind chairs and toys they have purchased. If they are clean and in good condition, we will leave them for the next guests. Or, these items are fairly inexpensive and can be purchased at most local stores. Also, there are vendors that set up very nice beach chairs and umbrellas for daily or weekly rent (seasonally). Just find an empty one or the attendant.

We stayed for 6 nights and have nothing but postive things to say about our condo and resort! Very family friendly! Short walk to the beach with a boardwalk to the sand. I do wish there was a ramp leading into the sand to make pulling a wagon easier. The condo was super clean and cozy! There was also "beach" items left by owner or other vacationers that was enjoyed! (Chairs, beach toys, fishing poles, boogie boards) We also left some of our extras for others to enjoy Will definitely stay here again when visiting gulf shores!

Terrific vacation

Great stay. Room was well equipped. Location is fabulous and the property is beautiful. Bed was a bit firm but all was just as pictures showed. Perfect for the 2 of us.

Great location... but

Location is excellent, but the pics are deceiving. It is VERY small. The one "bedroom" is hot probably because it doesn't have an AC vent. There wasn't an iron or ironing board (although they did bring one to us the next day) and the dishwasher was broken. We called, but no one showed up to fix it. So.. we had to hand wash dishes. The unit was clean, but dishes were not (dishwasher was probably broken from before) so we just washed them before we used them. Location was excellent and view from balcony is stunning. The place needs some updating and tlc though. The management company was very good at getting back to you, so all and all I had to give it a 4 because the location.

Recommend! Had a great experience!

Enjoyed the amenities, view of the ocean, and beach access. Initially, concerned about the quaint size of the unit but we made it work. Overall it was clean, functional, and equipped with necessities. We have discussed returning to this property very soon!

Gulf Shores - lagoon side

We enjoyed our stay. It’s away from all the traffic. Even on the cool mornings, if the sun was shining, you could get a tan on the south facing balcony. The AC quit working for about 4 days but luckily temps weren’t too high!

Wished it was cleaner. We noticed areas that haven't been wiped down, properly cleaned. Rugs (living room and kitchen) were full of sand. Broom was disgustingly dirty. The supplied kitchen items were lacking. No dish soap or sponge provided by owner/management. Minor issues, but overall, it was below our expectations.

Location

The location was wonderful. Close enough to everything g without being overcrowded. The walk to the beach was not far at all. The only issue we had was that the mattress was very uncomfortable and really unpleasant. My husband and I woke up stiff every morning and by the 6th night we were ready to go home.

We have to talk about the matresses

Let me start off by saying, the location is excellent. I liked that this was farther down West Beach and not so close to Gulfshores proper. Less crowds, traffic, and noise. There is ample parking and its secure. The private beach acess is something I came to appreciate very much. We saw a lot of people dragging their stuff up and down the street to the public acess points and that would get old very quickly. It made it easier to come and go as we pleased. The condo its self is pretty nice. It's comfortable for the most part. Two things, though. 1) there is no door on the bedroom. For me this was not a problem as I am a widow and I was traveling with my daughters. I really feel like this should be made clear in the listing because it would be a big inconvenience for some families. 2) the matresses are awful. Like awful, awful. My daughter and I started sleeping on the couch after about the 4th night and we were there for 10. Hotels have better matresses. If they fixed the matresses, I would totally stay again. We loved our time in Gulfshores and this condo worked for us.

This cute little condo was just right for my family of 4. The pictures are very accurate as to what you get. When we got there, our TV did not work. As soon as I texted the number provided, we received a new TV asap. No hassle. We will be back. Highly recommend.

Perfect getaway

Property was nice and clean. We did have a problem with gnats and ants. I was worried about having to walk across the road for the beach, but it wasn’t bad at all. Not much traffic, and very easy access to boardwalk to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect get-away!

My 19 yr old and I wanted a quiet, beach-only, get-away before she moved back to college and this condo did not disappoint! It was very clean, check-in was simple, communications were very quick, just flawless. The bed was comfortable; after beach day, we would get takeout and either dine on the patio or sit in the dual reclining sofa and watch Netflix or Hulu... I have zero complaints! The facility was quiet, steps away from the ocean. For those that complain of sand on the floor, you are near a beach! There is sand on everything! If you want a 5 star hotel, then book one....if you want a charming, affordable, and beauitful/comfortable condo to accomodate your beach stay, look no further!

A little tight, but perfect location

Perfect spot for families with smaller children. The pool area was a great alternative to walking across the street to the beach everyday. Overall we would stay again, maybe in a little bit bigger room. Main bedroom got a little stuffy due to there not being an ac vent located in the room, but there was a floor fan available to move air.

We had a great time at this property. It was clean, the walk to the beach was nice and short, right across the street. It was far enough away from the restaurants and bars that it was nice and quiet but close enough to get there pretty quickly if we needed to.

Wow!

My family of four stayed in this property for a week. The set up was perfect for the kiddos and also provided us a separate bed just outside from where the kids were sleeping. Although the area is small, the way the space was used did not make it feel very tight. The view of the beach was great as well. The kids loved the pool, of course. We really enjoyed the very short walk to the beach as well. We would have loved to have somewhere to hang clothes but the entry shelving as well as the tv counsel helped us put our clothes somewhere. We would definitely recommend this to any of our friends and family!

Great Fishing Docks and Close to Beach

We were disappointed by the lack of cleanliness in this condo. It could be a great stay if improved upon. Sheets and towels were not washed and we’re visibly soiled. This is an end unit which is nice for easy access, but be prepared for the loud parking lot noises including late people/cars and early morning trash trucks. You will want to bring a fan for the bedroom as it does not have a vent. It also does not have a door! The pool was packed with baseball team parties multiple nights of our stay so I am unable to comment on that. The dock area was nice and beach access across the street is handy! I sent a full list of our issues to the rental company.
