Angeblich 4 Sterne; diese waren vor 20 Jahren vermutlich angemessen. Klima-Anlage funktionierte nicht; alle Wäsche war klamm. Fenster unseres Zimmers war zum Hotelinnenraum; keine wirkliche Lüftung möglich. Tür zum Flur hat keine Schalldämmung.

This is an excellent place to stay when you are in Guilin. We had a clean and large room with a view to both Pogodas. Staff is very friendly and responsive. Definitely recommending this place.

Truly excellent house keeping staff especially house keeper no 711. She assisted with laundry and replaced everything I requested. The restaurant is open 24/7. The gym is located on floor 5 and is always clean. There is a large swimming pool on site. All taxi drivers have a speech translator. The hotel over looks the twin towers on the lake and has the best view. Significantly cheaper than the Sheraton hotel.

位置極佳,景觀也好,適合旅遊。可借房間空調太差,好悶焗,電源位置不够,我帶來的充電插頭是兩腳,電源插座大多數是三腳其中兩隻腳是斜,不合用。酒店員工除了最後一天有幫我叫的士,其他都沒有什麼招呼和表情。

Can not adjust the room temperature
The aircond was centralized controlled by the hotel and cannot be adjusted from inside the room. We had a couple hot days even in mid Dec and the room was too warm. You can’t change the temperature. The staff did explain the restriction of room temperature control in a polite way but they are not prepared to make it more flexible for clients. The window was also locked and can only be opened or closed by hotel staffs with a special key. We had dinner at the hotel Chineses restaurant for the first evening and the food quality was not so good as a 5-star hotel. We ate outside for the rest of our stay. Gym, spa and swimming pool open from 7am to 7pm. The operating hours seems quite limited. Staffs are polite and nice but User friendliness of the hotel facilities seems not their priority.

A few things of this hotel make me disappointed: plastic hot water kettle is very old and its color has faded which makes me wonder if it is harmful to human health; no bottled shampoo but a cheap shampoo container attached to wall, no conditioner, no facial care kit. Everything looks old. the main elevators is slow and makes noisy. waiting for 10 minute for elevators seems everyday issue. So if you are rash, walk for half around the building to take another elevator which only gets you to the 3rd floor. What I like about this hotel is its LOCATION.

Conveniently located
It was very convenient to go around the pedestrian street with many shops and restaurants. The lakes are just across the road, with ticketing offices to cruise around the river and lakes. When checking in, Mr. Chuen was very helpful in sourcing 3 rooms on the same floor for us as we had elderly and child at different rooms. This was really appreciated. The standard of breakfast was average. Not much variation everyday and the taste was mediocre.

It was one of the best experience I has and my family members insisted that I write all beautiful things about this hotel because they felt the same. You can feel that the hotel considered every little details. We were wondering the whole time who designed and managed this hotel. And we were lucky enough to bump into the owner on our last day. She chose all the decorations herself which amazed us. We were first welcomed by the friendly staff at the reception, awed by the view from the room, and touched by the details of the hotel rolm that we noticed during our stay. Customer support let’s it down.
Good location. Nice hotel however I had two stays with a one day away in the countryside. Second room was poor. TV and kettle didn’t work. Very little information in room regarding local attractions. Tour desk poor - conflicting information regarding some activities when I enquired on two separate days.
