«Room lovely and staff very helpful »

«Big difference between pictures of rooms on hotels.com and in reality. The room we got where outdated and worn. The bathroom in particular where worn down, tiles where broken, the wood fixture around the bathtub rotten and the toilet didn’t stop to flush after use. We came in really late(around midnight) and didn’t have time or energy to complain and try to switch rooms. The high point where good beds.»

«Jeg bodde her 1 natt ifm gjennomreise. Hotellet ligger SUPERT til i et flott og stille parkanlegg. Parkering skjer på hotellets område (inkludert) Selve rommet var fint og komfortabelt i gammel stil med bra størrelse og de mest nødvendige fasiliteter; Vannkoker med te og kaffe (kun decaf 🤔🤔🤔), et LITE TV og WIFI. Rommet hadde ikke AC, men det var mulig å åpne de store vinduene Badet hadde også grei størrelse og utstyr Begge rom bar preg av slitasje; innredning faller fra hverandre / er ...

«The location was perfect because we were travelling by train. It is also very easy to take the bus to Chester Zoo from the hotel, and the city centre is withing walking distance. The straff is great and I love the king and queen theme of the hotel! There is a beautiful outdoor area too, with tables and sculptures. We stayed for only a night, but I would love to come back!»

«We have stopped in many hotels and over the past 10 years and this is up there as an absolute delight. The staff are warm and friendly - all on duty over our stay need to be commended for their commitment to ensure guests feel looked after! The room was well equipped and we had a lovely view of the gardens. The breakfast was outstanding. A great base for travelling around Shropshire- such good value for money. Well done all »

«Fantastic staff, comfortable room. Beautiful bathroom (newly renovated). Hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but is really nice inside. Nice pool and gym area. A short 5-10 min drive into the very heart of Chester. Service was great - we had to leave very early in the morning and organised a breakfast pack for all of us.»

«Fabulous hotel with wonderful William Morris wallpaper and tasteful decor. Our room– room 2, was enormous, with a gigantic, very comfy bed, a wonderful view across the valley, including the railway, and a large victorian style bathroom with a standalone bath with shower over. An excellent breakfast was included in the very reasonable price and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again.»
