Beach Front Cottage in the Sun on Whidbey.

Welcome to Seashore Cottage on the beach at Lagoon Point where the rainfall is half that of Seattle. We are located on 60' of low bank waterfront on the west side of Whidbey Island only 30 minutes north of the Clinton Ferry Terminal.

Enjoy everything Whidbey Island has to offer from this luxuriously-appointed 3-bedroom home. Our home was recently remodeled by a local interior designer and is filled with thoughtful touches, including premium linens, eclectic antiques and one-of-kind custom fixtures.

The home has two bathrooms, washer and dryer, gas fireplace and WiFi. The en-suite bathroom has a double vanity and heated towel rack. The cozy den includes a TV and comfortable couch for rainy day movie watching. Experience the ease of cooking on the new induction cooktop in the open-concept kitchen.

Our back door opens up to Admiralty Inlet where you can watch ships from all over the world pass through.

Enjoy world class sunsets from your patio chair or main bedroom suite - opening the door to hear the waves crashing just outside.

Bring your kayaks and paddle boards and explore the coast down to South Whidbey Park.

Neighborhood is on flat terrain for easy strolls or biking.

Fish right from the beach outside our home as salmon use this route on their way back from open waters.

From whales to deer to eagles they all make their home here or stop in for a visit.

In the evening relax around the outdoor fire and watch the stars come out.

Outside the neighborhood, you're close to all that Whidbey has to offer. We're minutes from hiking trails in South Whidbey State Park, historic Fort Casey, walking trails at Greenbank Farm and other beaches. Farther out, explore local wineries and picturesque beach towns Coupeville and Langley. The opportunities to get out and explore are endless - but we also designed the home to be the perfect retreat - no need to go much farther than the beach out the back door.

We had an amazing time here! The location and proximity to the beach were amazing, and so were the views! The house and property were a dream. It is very kid friendly as well, they even include bath toys for the littles! We were beyond happy with our stay, and can’t wait to visit again.

If you want a cozy place on the water THIS is the place to stay. Great fishing on the beach also. The built in fire pit with the sunset will take your breath away . And they supply the wood !

This was our second stay and it was just as lovely as the first. The home is incredibly cleaned, has everything you might need and is very centrally located. Our kids remembered specific games and toys from our first stay and loved the outdoor toys and beachfront access. We loved the quiet neighborhood, beautifully decorated rooms, and big windows!

This is the second time we’ve stay here as a family. We always plan a get away to Whidbey in the late summer and this location is becoming one of our favorites. The owner, Debbie, was a pleasure to work with and was easily available to answer our questions. The house is well laid out for us 4 adults and 2 children. The master has a very comfortable king and private bath. The other two bedrooms have comfortable queens and a convenient bath for them to share. The first time we stayed, our grandchildren were younger and shared one of the queens, but this year our grandson slept in the tv room on the pull out couch and he loved his private space (also didn’t complain about the bed, but he’s only 11) so I can’t testify fairly about its comfort . The kitchen has a great location where we could watch the beach and beautiful view while we cooked our meals. I do wish the pans were in a little better condition, but all in all, the kitchen was nicely set up. We enjoyed the fire pit almost every evening while we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. We will definitely definitely rebook this amazing location.

A place to refresh and relax

This cottage on the ocean gives all the vibes you need to relax! From the inside to the outside It has everything you need. The inside is decorated in a very calming way and the backyard is beautifully landscaped that takes you to the beach for all the fun! We love it

Coziest getaway

We were so in love with this house! It’s designed so thoughtfully and each little nook was executed to perfection. The yard was ideal for the littles with incredibly easy access to the beach. We enjoyed the views and location during the day and then were cozy as can be by the fireplace in the evenings. Great home base for exploring Whidbey and a bonus if you appreciate intentional and beautiful interior design. As an unexpected but amazing surprise, we were able to spot a seal and ORCAS from the yard! Will be back soon.

Great relaxing getaway on Whidbey Island

The rental was a great size for our family and was very comfortable. The outdoor fire pit with views of Admiralty Inlet was amazing and we have not had many rentals previously with a fire pit. The neighborhood was great, it is quiet and safe for kids to ride bikes and nice walks. Beachcombing was also great. The house is well equipped, the kitchen has everything you need. The fireplace is gas and is nice on cold nights. The master bedroom is large and has a large closet and good size master bath. There is a nice yard in front and in back with well kept grass and pathways. One thing to note is to plan your meals as the house is about 15-20 mins from restaurants or major grocery stores. There is a fantastic deli/small grocery shop in Greenbank called the Greenbank Pantry and Deli. Highly recommend it and the Greenbank Farm is nearby to the deli. Overall really enjoyed our stay in this rental on Whidbey Island to enjoy the beauty of this area.

Beautifully updated seaside cottage

If you are looking for a sunset view on the ocean in a residential setting this is the place for you. The hosts have done a fantastic job updating their property to what we call a 5 star experience. The photos listed online are exceptionally accurate but when you are there in person it shows quite a bit better! Host communication was second to none ease of access was the same. Highly recommend this spot!

Wonderful Whidbey stay!

It’s not often that I read a review that says “they thought of everything” or “very well stocked kitchen” and it’s accurate - but this home exceeded the reviews! The house is thoughtfully designed and great for kids with easy beach access, a yard and small sand area with toys for younger kids, games and toys inside, blackout curtains in the non primary guest rooms, and easy access to so many fun Whidbey attractions. We can’t wait to come back!

Peaceful and Beautiful!

This was our second stay here and we hope to make it a yearly tradition! Beautiful, clean and peaceful. Wonderful backyard to enjoy sunsets and if you are lucky you just might see orcas from the beach.
