Newly renovated, central location
I came to Greeley to stay one night and visit Weldwerks brewery, but I like the motel and the city so much that I decided to stay one night longer. Very hospitable and friendly host, great standard on the room, and downtown within walking distance

The cold water valve in the shower is completely stripped. I had to wrestle with it just turn it on and it took me 5 minutes to try to turn it off. The hotel clerk mentioned that it was “finicky” but “broken” would be more accurate. Towels smelled like smoke. The walls were stained and filthy. The decorative shower curtain was placed inside the tub to conceal the yellow stains. The refrigerator and the heater were so loud - between them, it was difficult to sleep. Parking spots were covered in 3 inches of ice. In my opinion, just spend the extra $50 to stay anywhere else.

Never Again
Check in was easy. Nice staff. Rooms smelled like smoke and there were stains on the bedding. I was approached in the parking lot by a homeless man. Area was not a great area to stay solo.

Cute concept. Retro doesn't have to equal bad. Manager rarely present. No new towels or room cleanup for 2nd day. Price does not justify what you get. 2 outlets in entire room. None in bathroom. No place to put anything. Heating is via room AC unit. Noisy. Street noise and light not filtered from room

Jason called me the day of to ensure we were still arriving within their office hours and was extremely friendly during check-in. The rooms are refurbished and although it might look a little misleading from the outside, it is modern, very clean and a hip little spot that's conveniently located near downtown Greeley.

DO NOT BOOK ON EXPEDIA, call rainbow motel to check for availability. Expedia charged me the rates, and the hotel is actually closed for renovations at the moment. Nothing against the rainbow hotel! Just call and make sure they’re open!

Getting closer to the rainbow!
Cute motel with updated hip rooms- they were still making updates and it needed some adjustments. The shower leaked, the bathroom had no shelves for towels or toiletries and we were missing a few items that we needed to ask for. Also the bathroom door never closed all the way....so that made things interesting! But sweet people and a cute cheap stay. No coffee but annin room refrigerator and Netflix/Hulu 🌈👍

Price is right
Great host. Rooms are sparse but clean. Room cleaning is not provided for one or two night stay. It’s clearly stated but I had forgotten about it. Price is right. Would consider staying again.

Very disappointing.
I have stayed at hotels and motels all over the world. The Rainbow Motel was one of most underwhelming and disappointing I've ever encountered. The room was small, poorly arranged, and almost zero amenities. It would have been better priced at $35-40 per nite, but $118 per nite was robbery.

Yes, our motel was built in the 50's, and the guest rooms are small and quaint, but remodeled nicely. I am curious what type of amenities you were expecting. And there is no such thing as $40 motel room anymore, not in Greeley, CO. I thank you for all your feedback.

cool sign nice renovations to room--distinctive and memorable rooms. the slaughterhouse smell is just a given, I used to live in this part of Greeley, but to some folks it might matter.

The room was small but had clearly been updated. Really comfy bed, brand new light fixtures and a renovated bathroom. The shower is awesome, the grounds are really cute, and we slept like logs! What a nice surprise, we’ll definitely be back!

Up-and-coming boutique motel
What a wonderful location to attend the Greeley Stampede. Well within walking distance but, the weather did not cooperate. The hotel manager, Damon, was a delight as he made the check-in/check-out experience pleasant and efficient. He offered local perspective on places to eat - don't miss the early morning food truck across the street for a yummy breakfast burrito. During our stay the motel was in midst of renovation but done respectfully and with thoughtful eye to those guests. The improvements in the room were tastefully done and cleverly implemented to make the room experience comfortable. WiFi access was strong. Clean bathroom with new tile-work and super absorbent towels. TV experience was a little awkward maneuvering through the Roku menu. Overall, we were pleased with our stay

The owner Damon was very nice. However, the pictures of the rooms are misleading mine was definitely run down and nothing like the pictures. If I had to choose again I could stay at a nicer hotel for the price I paid.

The motel is small but quaint. The room was remodeled and very nice. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom nice. The only strange thing is that there is no shower curtain in the shower/tub, but a partial wall. It was placed in the wrong spot: at the foot of the shower rather than near the shower head. I had to put a towel on the floor to mop up the water that came out. I would stay at this motel again.

Nice hotel. I was surprised that the exterior didn't match the interior of the rooms. Nicely remodeled older hotel with private entrances for each room. Friendly owner.

The hotel is charming and the rooms nicely decorated but the heating really does not work well. It never fully heated the room, it was very loud and kept going on and off and on and off and on and off. I couldn't sleep. There was no extra blanket and since we didn't get home from visiting family until after 11pm, it was too late to ask for a blanket. We like this hotel and the staff but we will limit out time there to the summer.

Thank you for your feedback. We repaired the thermostat, so the heater unit is now working properly. Regardless of the time of day, you can always request a blanket. Your comfort is our highest priority.

Clean but need to provide cups for water - had to get cup out of car to take meds. Shower nicely tiled but tiled floor of shower very slick - suggest they install a grab bar or provide shower mat. Small room but adequate for one night.
