Bra hotell, middels mat.
Vi var der en uke all inclusive. Veldig fint hotell og område rundt basseng og strand. Men maten og drinkene var ikke mye å skryte av. Var 2 ala carte restauranter der. Vi vart litt matlei etter noen dager og tenkte vi skulle prøve den ene. Men selv om det va mange ledige bord og vi var villig til å betale for maten så fikk vi ikke lov å bestille noe der siden vi ikke hadde reservert bord.

Fint hotell med høy standard! Meget fint basseng område. Negativt er wifi som er håpløs, spesielt med tanke på at det er et 5 stjerners hotell!

Veldig bra hotell. Ligger kun 10 min med taxi fra Rhodos sentrum. Litt lite rundt hotellet. Bør ha all inclusive på hotellet, da det ikke er så mange alternativer for de som ikke har dette.

Anbefaler all inclusive da maten er generelt god og mye drikke å velge i som er inkludert. Hyggelig personale. Ikke noe slitsom og høy musikk. Flotte fasiliteter. Syns senga var litt for hard og anbefaler å ha med egen pute. Litt kjedelig med steinstrand. Ellers ikke no negativt å si om dette hotellet

Luksushotell ved strankanten med vakker solnedgang
Hadde en kjempefin uke på dette flotte hotellet. Rommene ble nøye rengjort hver dag, og hotellpersonalet var veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Veldig gode, og store dobbeltsenger. Bodde på deluxrom, og der savnet jeg minibar med litt leskende og snacks. Ikke noe stort problem forsåvidt, siden supermarkedet lå et par hundre meter borti gata, så vi fylte opp kjøleskapet med det vi ønsket selv derfra. Savnet også en lås på toalettdøren siden vi var to kamerater som hadde rom sammen, men dette er neppe et problem for de som reiser på tur med kjæresten eller familien.

Flott hotell!
Kjempe fint hotell med bra beliggenhet i Ixia. Hotellområdet var fantastisk med salt- og ferskvannsbasseng, samt at det ligger rett på stranda. Rommene var store og sengene var gode. Frokostbuffeen var bra og det var mye å velge mellom.

Pent hotell, men det lille ekstra manglet
Hotellet ligger ved stranden men er et stykke unna alt. Må gå i 15 min for restauranter eller ta taxi til byen. Vi hadde ikke all-inklusive noe som gjorde det dårligere for oss. Vi fikk ingen beskjeder om noe og det var ikke mulig å spise eller andre ting på hotellet. Personalet brukte flere timer på å vite hva de skulle gjøre med regningen, og når de tilbyr å ikke ha all inklusive ser jeg ikke problemet. Treningssenter eller spa var ikke åpent, og badehåndkleder var det tomt for selv om man skal få nye hele tiden, hotellhånkleder tok de fra rommet flere dager og ikke ga oss nye. Et veldig pent hotel, men flere ting som trakk ned også.

Flott hotell, deilig frokost - hyggelig betjening!
Et hyggelig hotell som ligger rett ved stranden. Store rom, rent og pent. Rengjøringspersonalet er innom rommet daglig og rengjør samt skifter håndklær. Aircon som fungerte veldig bra, lystette gardiner. Kjøleskap på rommet og masse skapplass. Badet var stort med dusj og badekar. Ingen problemer med varmtvann eller vanntrykk. Masse puter/sengetøy og senga var stor og god. Sofa med bord og 2 stoler. Frokosten var veldig bra, godt utvalg både for voksne og barn. Alle mulige brød å velge mellom, kaker, frukt, grønnsaker, nylaget omelett etter ønske, pannekaker, varm- og kald buffet.....fruktsalater, youghurt, nøtter....egne kelnere med kaffe og te-servering. Hyggelig betjening på hotellet, traff faktisk på ei resepsjonsdame som var fra Trondheim også! Stranda er av småstein og det anbefales å ta med badesko. Det er en liten strandbar på hotellet hvor man får utlevert håndklær til bruk på stranda. Man må være tidlig ute om morgenen for å få solseng, mange legger håndklærne sine der for å vise at de er 'opptatt'. Dette fordi det er for lite senger i forhold til gjesteantallet, noe som er irriterende. Litt 'lytt' når folk kommer og går om natta og drar koffertene sine på det flislagte gulvet. Ellers var det lite bråk. Vi kom klokka 04.30 på natta og måtte vente til kl.08.00 for å få rommet vårt. Litt slitsomt og uventet, men det kunne vært værre da vi egentlig ikke skulle få sjekke inn før kl..14.00. Dette viser velviljen til de hotellansatte som hadde en veldig god service :-)

Vårt opphold fra 08 til 15 juli 2012. Forventningene var store før ankomst. I resepsjonen møter vi en meget hyggelig dame med Trønder dialekt som kunne fortelle at vi var oppgradert fra vår bestilte suite med eget basseng til suite med basseng og havsutsikt. Beliggenheten på suiten kunne ikke være bedre. Generelt så er ikke dette et 5 stjeners hotell men et godt 4 stjernes. Vi prøvde alle restaurantene på hotellet hvor Restaurant DeGu7 falt meget dårlig ut med dårlig mat. Vi prøvde også å få bord på Alazonia Suites Restaurant (restaurant reservert for de som hadde booket suiter) noe som viste seg være vanskelig. Atmosfæren på hotellet var rolig og kan anbefales til barnløse reisende. Området rundt hotellet så ikke bra ut (slitent) Ikke mulig å få isbiter uten å betale 1 euro for en liten kopp :-(??. Hotellet burde være tapesert av isbitmaskiner. Reholdet på suiten var upåklagelig. Vasket hver dag, nye hånduker hver dag, nye badehåndklær hver dag. Supert!. Suiten virket litt sliten med sprekker i vegg og avkalkning. Generelt hyggelig og servicemindet personale. Super frokost i DeGu7 restaurant med meget hyggelig personale. Jeg kan godt anbefale hotellet til venner og familie men ikke som 5 stjernes hotell men et godt 4 stjernes. Jeg har litt erfaring med 5 stjernes hotell.

Vi likte oss godt på The Ixian Grand, fikk rom med privat basseng uten å ha bestilt det. Nymoderne og flotte rom, men mangler den siste finishen på ting. Småting gjør at hotellet kanskje ikke lever helt opp til sine fem stjerner, bl.a. dårlig wifi dekning. Stor og flott frokost og hyggelige folk som jobber der. Kun en kort kjøretur inn til Rhodos by (5-10 min), i tillegg var det en veldig hyggelig gate med restauranter og barer i gåavstand. Kan absolutt anbefales!

Sehr schönes Hotel zumindest in dem Suitenbereich der ein wenig als Hotel im Hotel angelegt ist. Hervorzuheben neben den schönen Suiten ist sicher das hervorragende seperate Restaurant hierfür. Das Hotel hat ebenfalls einen eigenen sehr schönen Kiesstrand. Die direkte Umgebung des Hotels ist leider völlig heruntergekommen aber dafür ist die sehr schöne Altstadt von Rhodos in 15 Min.per Taxi erreichbar. Zimmerservice und Reinigung ist ebenfalls auf top Niveau

The Ixian Grand is incredible. This was our 3rd stay here and we are staying again in October. The Hotel itself is clean, welcoming and has everything you could possibly want for a relaxing, chilled out holiday. There are plenty of sunbeds to go round and you dont have to fight for one or reserve one. The food is great. We always eat at the buffet vis a vis reataurant. Plenty of choice. You can go up as many times as you like with a fresh plate and all the food is replenished promtly, so no need to load up with everything. The poolside snack bar is fantastic if you dont want a heavy lunch. The rooms are very clean and lots of amenities. The inside and outside bars are great and good selection of drinks included with all inclusive. The thing that sets this hotel apart from the others is the staff. Every single member of the team went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasurable one. Even on our first stay they were incredible. The reception team are very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. The Porters and the transfer guys are fantastic. All of the restaurant staff are amazing. No request is too much trouble. One of my friends is allergic to peanuts and seafood and the restaurant team are so knowledgeable we had no worry about what they could eat. Finally the housekeeping staff were very friendly. We even noticed that the Hotel management were always at the hotel and worked just as hard as all the staff. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It is fatastic.

To put it politely, this hotel is pushing a below average 4 star. No way in hell can they consider themselves even close to 5 star. The hotel is generally shabby and needs a big glow up. The outdoor bar area could be much better utilised and presented. The evening entertainment was laughably bad. Having stuff like daily water aerobics at the main pool is far from a 5 star experience they advertise. The gym is a dusty shed with dreadful equipment- again not 5 star. The place was full of riff raff wall to wall. The staff however were very polite (minus the one who decided to steal my gold necklace from our room whilst we were out). In therms of the food and drink situation, they fail to tell you the full terms of ‘all inclusive’ until you arrive. They only allow one visit to the restaurants per stay, which also limit the food you can eat, so we left hungry. The food however was good throughout the stay. The choices of alcohol were terrible. The rooms were nice enough with big comfy beds, but again wouldn’t say are close to a 5 star stay. All in all, the location makes up for the majority of the above but this hotel doesn’t come to close to a 5 star stay/experience and wouldn’t recommend staying here at the prices they advertise during peak times having had stuff stolen from our room.

A perfect hotel for a quiet and relaxing vacation
Excellent location. With a clean and tidy beach. We took a room with a bath with a sea view. The room is slightly comfortable but a little outdated. Excellent service, tasty food but not varied. A real vacation hotel. Without children, a perfect experience Perfect for couples

We had a lovely time, the staff, food, and accommodation were spot on, our suite was right on the beachfront, we ate in the restaurant that was exclusive to the suites and the food was great, nothing was too much trouble. We hired a car for a couple of days and went around the island, which was enjoyable, hiring the car at the hotel was quick and easy. I would recommend The jewellers in the hotel, I bought a ring which was very reasonably priced, a lot cheaper and better quality than in the uk. Would definitely recommend, and we will go back.

Loved the scenery, beautiful location. Superb service by all staff members who go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Food and drink were the only two items which could’ve been better. Food was a bit hit or miss: either delicious or quite bland. cocktails were not particularly enjoyable as extremely strong and didn’t taste nice. WARNING though, if doing all inclusive for fewer than 7 nights, the hotel doesn’t let you use any other restaurant other than the main one — unless you pay extra…

I loved the staff, the service was always above and beyond. It was clean and we felt safe. The ala carte restaurant was excellent . The buffet restaurant was hit or miss. They also need bathroom facilities near the pool not inside and down a flight of stairs in almost total darkness after coming in from the bright sun. The hot water for a shower in your room was only hot 2 times in our 7 day stay. Overall we were happy with our stay and would come back again

Das Hotel ist traumhaft schön. Wir hatten einen kleinen Pool am Zimmer, was wirklich toll war. Alles war extrem sauber und gepflegt. Jeder einzelne Angestellte des Hotel war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vor allem die Restaurantmitarbeiter waren großartig. Ich habe eine Lebensmittelallergie und sie haben sich so viel Mühe gegeben, ich hab mich sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit!
