Utsøkt uke
Sendte Mail k forkant av oppholdet og fikk hjelp med å arrangere transport til hotellet. Ble møtt av meget behjelpelig personalet ved innsjekk. Renholdet var utrolig bra, rommet stod til forventningene, fin utsikt mot sjøen, fantastisk frokostbuffet, bra tilgang til butikker inne på hotellet, fine bassengområdet, utrolig bra rom service. Hotellet ligger fint til iforhold til å rusle til gamle byen ca 4-5 km langs strand og fortau. Det er også ett sentrum andre veien fra hotellet i umiddelbar nærhet. Kort vei ned til stranden med undergang under veien. Kan absolutt anbefale stedet til familiereisende, enslige, eldre, yngre altså alle sammen ! Takk for nydelig uke :-)

Begynte med at vi ved fullført booking ikke fikk den romtypen vi hadde valgt i utgangspunktet. Vi valgte et nyoppusset rom men fikk ikke det. Klagde til dere og til hotellet men fikk til svar at det vi hadde bestillt den romtypen. Ingen hjelp å få noen plass. I tillegg viste deg seg å være feil ved framstillingen av hva som kalles eksekutive VIP på hotellets egne nettsider 3dvisningen er direkte misvisende. Uhøflig booking ansvarlig på hotellet. Rommet var stort og sikkert flott på 90 tallet nå var det utdatert og meget slitt. Spesielt badet var et trist kapittel. Ellers bar hotellet preg av generelt lite vedlikehold. Bassengområdet kan ikke beskrives må oppleves. Vi brukte det ikke. En skam for et 5stjernes hotell. De nyoppussede rommene som var hadde avanserte teknologisk løsninger. Men det var nok noe galt der, vi så at lys gikk av og på det forsvant helt, blinket , rene lysshowet om kveldene. 5 stjernes ved første øyekast, Max 3 stjerner ved nærmer ettersyn. Eneste som var utmerket var strandområde, noe av det beste jeg har opplevd, men dette kan brukes av alle samme hvilket hotell du bor på. Mange flotte hotell i området, velg et annet.

Noe rot i innsjekk, men hyggelige folk. Hadde oppgradert til privat suite med privat basseng. Viste seg å være alt annet enn privat. Rommet lå med utgang og basseng rett mot en veldig trafikkert sti. Mye maur på kjøkkenet som kom kort tid etter rommet var vasket. Vasking av rom var dårlig. Mye tegn på dårlig vasking over tid. Spesielt rundt sofa og på bad. Tappekraner på bad hadde store kalkbelegg. Badet hadde i tillegg en stor ledning stikkende ut av veggen. Ville ikke prøve, men håper den ikke var strømførende! Gikk for fine bilder og gode ord når vi bestilte rom her. Hadde i utgangspunktet planer å være her i to netter, men valgte å reise etter en. Virker som et hotell som bruker tid og penger på feil ting. Hvorfor ikke heller passe på at det er rent? Eller legge igjen meny til roomservice? Tok oss en time å få en meny da de måtte sende en person til å levere den til rommet. Kunne jeg ikke bare fått en når jeg var i resepsjonen? Eneste plusset her er noen av de som jobbet der. Pga oppgradering hadde vi VIP innsjekking. Men ble glemt ut. Vi var der en stund før innsjekking og fikk da beskjed om å vente til innsjekking startet men at de skulle prøve å få rommet klar tidligere. Vi kom tilbake når innsjekking startet men da hadde de glemt at vi var der og rommet var ikke rengjort. Men stort sett hyggelig betjening selv om det gikk sent!

5 Sterne… alles nur geklaut? Aufgepasst!!! Hände weg von diesem Hotel. Wir reisen sehr viel, so ein schlechtea Hotel ist mir noch nie untergekommen. Glücklicherweise hatten wir nur mit Frühstück gebucht…. und dieses war unter aller S….. aufgelöster Puder für O-Saft, Apfelsaft usw. Total übersüsst. Rührei war auch nur Puder mit Wasser. Vom Reat nicht zu sprechen. Bei schönstem Wetter musste man innen essen, da keine Restaurantterrasse zur verfügung stand. Pool und Liegen einfach nur ekelhaft und nicht genug zur Verfügung. Wir waren 2 Mal in diesem Hotel, zum ersten und zum letzen Mal!!!!!!! :-(((((((

This is our 3rd stay at Rodos Palace. We have always stayed in a garden suite or a bungalow rather than the main hotel block. This year we stayed in a bungalow again. They are spacious and the grounds around the bungalows are well maintained. They are also very quiet. However, we have noticed that the bungalows have started to look 'tired' and could definitely benefit from a refurbishment. Although the main hotel pool is lovely, you cannot get a bed at the pool if you aren't up extremely early. This is despite a sign at the pool asking guests not to leave towels/belongings on beds prior to 10am and then returning to their rooms. The sign says belongings will be removed if this happens. Everyone ignores those signs and the hotel does not take any action. This is disappointing when you are looking for a sunbed and the vast majority are unoccupied at 10 with just a bottle of suncream or towel on them!

This is a lovely hotel but it could do with some maintenance. The staff were friendly, especially Dimitris. There were quite a few niggles in our room, like the AC could have been cooler, the shower kept over flooding, ants in the kitchen. The breakfast had variety but it was average. We had an amazing private pool in our block so felt relaxed. Overall, we didn’t allow these issues to get in the way. We had a wonderful break. The hotel really stepped up when the wildfires happened and provided food and shelter for all those affected. Hat off to them!

Quick birthday break.
Very young slightly rowdie crowd staying there. Wasn't what we expected. Nice renovated room,clean and modern. Food in buffet restaurant was ok. Very warm weather, had to find a place away from the main pool as different people had music blaring from their speakers. Very reasonable quick break for my birthday. Shame no sun beds on the beach. Nice staff. Very out of season so the area was very quiet, no other hotels open. Many restaurants /shops were closed. Outside pool was freezing and the indoor pool wasn't in use. Plenty of sun beds out of season, probably wouldn't want to be there in summer. Have stayed at much better five star hotels. Definitely get sea view and premium room which has been renovated.

Not worth the price or the stars
Upon arrival, we were checked in, no issue, no mention of additional charges, only the tourist tax. We then realised drinks not included with meals so we had to pay extra. There was no mention of an additional £15 charge per night. Overall, we ended up paying an additional approx £60 on top of our reservation fee. Not warned when checked in. Hotel is clean and beautiful but a lot of resources were closed. At the bar, you are pressurised to order drinks if you want to enjoy entertainment. Rooms are decent, modern and clean. Our toilet door would not open once closed. So we had to open the door from outside. The bathroom door would not close leaving a gap which the floor very slippery. The lights would randomly switch off and on at night which was scary at the beginning. There is a generator that runs early in the morning which is very very disturbing. No aircons in rooms. Only heater that is set to 27 (centrally). I would rate this hotel 3 or 4. I wouldn’t return to the hotel again. Definitely not worth the price. I was fooled by the pictures and the 5 star, but I didn’t get a 5 star service. What upsets me the most is that there were not honest about additional fees and surprised us on check out whilst taxi was waiting outside to take us back to the airport. I didn’t even have an opportunity to ask for an explanation or a chance to speak to a manager/supervisor.

Bra överlag men det finns lite att jobba på, hissarna klarar inte att hantera antalet gäster och man får stå och vänta ganska länge ibland. Delar av hotellet är fortfarande inte renoverade. Bor man ovan våning 8 är allt superfräscht! (Vi bodde på 14 våningen) Överlag är det lite för mycket gäster och de känns inte som att hotellet kan hantera det till 100 %.

Disappointed that a five star rated hotel, offered only a buffet service dinner option. Not notified of this at check-in. Not made clear at booking time that hotel would be shared with all inclusive bookings! Standard of accommodation was superb.

Wouldnt call it five star hotel. Reception people very rude, not saying hi hello or anything. During you speak to them they start to speak each others in the middle of your sentence. Hotel is quite old, and everything seems to be falling apart. Room is nice but bed feels like 80 century and keeps loud gringy noice if you move on bed. Breakfast was also from 80 century and nothing good to say about. Overall 3/10

Really good location, ecellent service, everything close like old town and beach. restaurants and bars. only one thing was minus was aircone, it seasm it didnt cool down even make sounds.
