Hotellet ligger sentralt, og godt utvalg av mat og restauranter. Et lite minus uteområdet hadde for lite solsenger til så mange gjester. Vi et fint opphold med god service.

Excellent stay ones again
My wife and me have previously had an amazing stay at this lovely hotel, so it was an easy decision staying here again, and this time was not different. The staff is very friendly, rooms are nice and in good size. (we had a normal room with sea view). The food at the various lunch places is excellent, and drinks in both the bars are very good. We also decided to book a table for the asian restaurant they have there, and we can highly recommend this. It is also free of charge if you have the all inclusive. My wife also participated in a lot of activities, such as yoga and various other physical exercises, and she absolutely loved it. Big thanks for the instructors Alexandra and Peter. Flott hotell, men slitte rom
Vi har vært 1 uke på hotellet og er generelt veldig fornøyde. Uteområde og fellesområde på hotellet var veldig flott. Rommene var meget slitte, men rene. Kan godt bytte ut gulvtepper på rommene så hever det standarden mye. Personalet var veldig serviceminded og gjorde en veldig bra jobb. Spisestedene ved bassenget var veldig bra og veldig dyktige ansatte. Minus er den evige kampen om solsenger. Alt av solsenger er opptatt før kl 08 og endel av dem brukes ikke på hele dagen. Hva med å ha en policy på å fjerne håndklær på senger som ikke brukes? Det vil gjøre ferien bedre og man slipper å stille vekkerklokken for å kapre seg en solseng. Stort sett veldig fornøyd

Hotellet var fantastisk bra med et godt all inklusive tilbud, utenom fellessal måltider 3 ganger i døgnet var det mange restauranter og velge mellom med egen meny, asiatisk, italiensk, hamburgerbar, mexicansk, isbar m.m. Servicen var veldig bra med hyggelige ansatte. Aktiviteter om ønsket hele dagen både for store og små. Vi deltok på Crossfit, Aerobic, badminton,fotballtennis,dart og lignende, fantastisk flinke aktivitetsledere. Vi spilte ellers tennis, fikk låne utstyr i resepsjonen. Underholding om kvelden. Mulighet for å leie bil på hotellet. Hotellet hadde ellers to barer som var åpent til 02:00 der du fikk det meste. Hotellrommet var nok litt slitt men hadde gode senger og en fantastisk utsikt for oss som hadde oppgradert til dette. Rengjort 2 ganger om dagen hvis ønskelig. Minibaren ble også skiftet ut hvis en tok noe derifra (dette var også all inklusive). Bra wi-fi på rommene. Ellers hørte vi at det er snakk om at dette hotellet skal gjøres om, moderniseres. Veldig bra beliggenhet. Kommer gjerne tilbake.

Hotell med behov for oppussing
Jeg bodde på dette hotellet i 14 dager september 2015. Rommet hadde passe størrelse og renholdet var tilfredsstillende, men utdaterte og slitte møbler. På airconditionanlegget var hele fronten fjernet. Senga var hard med gammel madrass. Hotellet kunne ikke tilby overmadrass men i stedet for to ulltepper, som ikke hjalp det spøtt. Meget bråkete og lytt hotell. Ca 0530 startet støyen med heiser som gikk, vaskepersonale på plass og dunking fra teknisk anlegg. Svært vanskeleig å sove. Wifi sluttet å virke i uke to. Fikk bare delvis refundert utgiftene. Restauranttilbudet var bra, Maten var ok og hadde god standard til å være all inclusive. Bassengområdene var bra men ca halvparten av solsengene var ødelagt og ble ikke gjort noe med. Serviceinnstillingen til personalet var meget variabel. Værelsesbetjeningen var dyktig. Resepsjonspesonalet var jeg ikke så fornøyd med. Absolutt ingen ting av det de sa de skulle ordne ble utført. Jeg observerte en person som klatret opp på en balkong kl 04.00 en natt. Jeg varslet resepsjonen om dette og først etter ti minutter kom det en nattevakt som så sto og så opp mot balkongene. Personen befant seg da fremdeles på balkongen som han hadde klatret opp på. Jeg ropte til nattevakten og forklarte hvor personen var, men han bare trakk på skuldrene og forsvant. Det er meget enkelt å komme seg inn på flere hotellrom fra gata. Og med et så dårlig sikkerhetssystem er det godt forståelig at tyver prøver seg. Grand Hotel svarte ikke til forventningene!

Fem stjerner er det ikke!
Når det er sagt, hadde vi det bra m ca 3,5 stjerner. Vi var ikke All Inclusive gjester. Kun frokost og middag. Frokosten var en "kamp" mot eldre tyske, engelske m.m. gjester. God frokost. Middags buffeten orket vi kun ankomst dagen! Italienske rest. er verdt et besøk. Hotellet er noe slitt, spesielt rommene, men med fordums prakt....kan man si. Rommene er teppebelagt, badekar med dusjforheng, og dusjhode er selvfølgelig plassert på badekarets langside med høyde 160. Med andre ord blir du godt kjent med dusjforhenget. Bra størrelse på rommet. Lystette gardiner. Sengene var brede men gamle. Vi bestilte sjøutsikt, og den var super. Stranden ligger 150 m fra hotellet med en trafikkert vei du må krysse. Det er IKKE gratis WIFI. Vi, og flere andre, måtte krangle for å få tilbake penger etter å ha prøvd hotellets "analoge linje" mot betaling. Servicen var opp og ned....mest ned. Alt i alt ikke noe stort problem for oss, som er vant til å benytte oss av rom og basseng ved hotellene vi bor på. Men denne gangen hadde vi jo tenkt "litt mer" da.

Stort og fint hotell
Kjempe god mat i restauranten, noe av det beste vi fikk servert under hele turen så siiste uken spiste vi kun på hotellet. Ellers så er hotellet et kjempe flott luksushotell. Hotellet ligger rett ved blåse stranden, men kun 5 - 10 minutter til den fine stranden, og ellers sentralt til det meste.. Vi gikk til gamlebyen et par ganger uten problem.

The hotel itself was very nice and the food was excellent staff were very friendly and helpful would recommend this hotel to anyone surrounding area was pretty rundown and a lot of buildings were lying empty the beach had seen better days could have been needing a good clean up I know that the season was at the start

Our stay here was just perfect. Food was good with plenty of variety, room was very comfortable and serviced twice a day, position is fantastic right in front of the beach and an easy 15 to 20 minute walk into the old historic centre. The staff are always welcoming and willing to satisfy your every need.

Rooms a little dated but liked the Greek feel to the room. Hotel very clean. Staff cannot do enough for you. Very close to the beach and has three pool areas to choose from.loved the Greek, Pitta and Burger restaurants. Also loved the ice cream restaurnt, lots of variety and food options to choose from. Asian restaurant good but the Italian Restaurant not so many options menu should be revised Buffet food hall/restaurant good lots of options to choose from for Breakfast. Although no Tuna or prawns served which would have been nice. Also no blueberries. Hotel around 10-12 minutes walking distance to Harbour, Old Town and new town lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Would book Hotel again if affordable.

Amazing service. Hotel v. Good. Main dining hall food very good overall, but coffee was not upto standard. Would have expected some smoked salmon and more fish, sardines. I would visit again. Staff amazing, the best ive experienced in a hotel ever. 9/10

Wonderful Staff, great amenities and dining options. the mentality behind the establishment it to let the guests feel comfortable and enjoy their time. Quality of food is top, and drinks are top bar quality. And after we checked out, as our flight was in the evening, we were told that we can use the facilities until we leave. It was our second time in Rhodes, and will be back again for sure to Mitsis hotels either this one or another one

Loved how local it is to Rhodes town , clean, some staff , but I understand it’s due for a refurbishment hence my rating, If it wasn’t my rating would be terrible! Here is hoping for a more modern hotel that fits in with all other mitsis quality hotels🙂. 8/10 👍

The amount of ridiculous rules about what you can and can't have/do make this an unpleasant hotel to stay in. For example, we had lunch in the Greek restaurant and the dessert (like so many other things) was not available. However, it was in the next restaurant a couple of metres away. They insisted that I sit at a table for 4 in one establishment with my husband sitting at a table for 4 in the other to eat dessert. Certainly not a customer centred approach! Another example, the minibar in the room (small bottle of wine, 2 beers and 4 cans of pop) can only be replenished every other day. I thought the member of staff replenishing the minibar was going to explode when I asked for a replacement beer. The food in the main dining room is very poor and everything tasted the same. It also wasn't hot. Cleaning of bedrooms inadequate - literally a change of the bins and towels daily. I would never stay here again. Definitely, not 5*.
