Alt tar tid. Ankommer sent om kvelden og skulle tro at det å sjekke inn kunne være gjort på 2 minutter. Men nei. Det tar lang tid og masse papirer. Rommene hører til et 2 stjerners hotel. Utsikten var fantastisk. Men ellers lite å skryte av. Hele hotellet bører preg av å være gammelt og trenger en vesentlig oppgradering. Ihvertfall i forhold til prisen for å bo der. Frokost var grei. Men absolutt ikke mer enn det. Kommer ikke tilbake

Dynetrekk på sengen hadde vært brukt før og hadde flekker. Det var et rent laken som en kunne ha mot kroppen. Dette er imidlertid ikke bra nok. Maten i matsalen ved frokost var ikke bra. Det var blanding av gammel og ny mat. Nært til bysentrum, med ca 15 min spasertur. Sjarmerende by.

Our room was not very clean. We had left our towels hanging, so did not expect them changed. The bathmat, however, was sopping wet and not changed. Our room was never swept (it is a beach property so hard to avoid sand) and the bathtub and bathroom counters were not washed during our 4 night stay, Upon checkout, they would not offer assistance getting our luggage to our car, which was about 100 yards uphill to the parking lot. The two servers at the pool bar and main bar were professional and welcoming.

All good but breakfast in hell...
Perfect location, seafront, at walking distance from two nice beaches, Almyros and Votsalo and at around 1 km far from the centre of Agios Nikolaos. We had a family room, with a spectacular sea view which was not the newest, but it was roomy and comfortable. The two (out of three) pools we have seen were big with a nice pool area and a beautiful view. The breakfast room was the most negative aspect of this hotel. It was massive and terribly hot and too crowded. Especially around the tables nearby the windows it felt hot like a sauna. The buffet was big and offered. sufficiently rich variety. The staff was good and friendly but only with people who behaved well. The absolutely worst part of this hotel are (most of) its guests. The majority, fortunately not everybody, are the typical all-inclusive guests who no matter where they are on holiday the spend their time drinking alcohol at the pool. Those are also impolite and rough with the staff and other guests... That didn't really fit with the beauty, luxury and elegant appearance of the hotel. One advise: should you decide to book here please book a massage at the beautiful hotel spa: simply excellent.

Stayed at the Miramare Second week in April. Appreciate it was still early season, as such a few facilities weren’t open yet. Enjoyed; The breakfasts weee decent and a good choice. We had a suite with sea view and private pool. Enjoyed the pool, big enough at c4metres x 4metres in size, water obviously pretty cool (see below for other comments re room). The lounge area with the outside balcony is nice, as are the communal pool areas. Only a 15 stroll into the town and an east walk. Didn’t enjoy; I wouldn’t call it a suite as such, it was one bedroom with a small corridor leading to a very basic small room with a sofa bed in it. The small room with the sofa bed was like a prison room in its basic-ness, I expected some kind of sitting room as part of a suite. When we arrived there were 18 insects in the room (worm like centipedes) which I removed. During the week there was an average of 2 or 3 further worms, didn’t do any damage and I appreciate its difficult to avoid Mother Nature. Despite the above issues I would recommend the hotel but check what room type you are booking first.

Amazing location on the hill with beautiful views. The shower was very weird as the wand had no arm to set it on. As many hotels here they don’t want you flushing toilet paper. Had a great dinner pool side and good buffet breakfast with a great view. Pools are gorgeous.

The review covers the room option with the private pool during COVID-19 times. The sea view was excellent and beautiful; however, this was necessary to distract from the rest of the room with a tasteless "design" providing simply functional and aged furniture. Also the reception area and the dining area has a rather "aged" design. Breakfast quality was poor in terms of quality and variety but the restaurant manager was very keen to attend special food request (e.g. low fat yogurt) he arranged for the next day. The overall service level and staff friendliness leaves a lot of room for improvement - luckily with some exceptions.

Sourire crétois et séjour parfait
Très bien placé face à la mer, plage de sable à 300m avec accès par un paseo piéton. Belles piscines, parking facile, bon WiFi et Accès à Agios Nikolaos en 15 mn à pied. Très belle vue mer depuis les chambres...et surtout un accueil chaleureux et toujours attentionné. Nous voyageons 6 ou 7 fois par an en Europe et dans le monde et une telle bonne humeur et un tel sourire sont rares! Malgré la Covid un parfait repos et un très bon séjour. Seul bémol pour nous ne pas être trop près de la piscine principale où l'animation est à notre goût un peu trop présent..Heureusement il y en a 2 autres...

Very good service in to restorance and general with excellent staff . Very good location We stay 3 nights and no any cleaning no any changes beds sheets etc

buona sistemazione
Ottima posizione; struttura molto bella. Siamo stati in una camera con vista mare parziale e siamo rimasti soddisfatti. Le foto in fase di prenotazione corrispondevano alla camera e alla vista. Hotel molto frequentato da turisti che amano le formule “all inclusive”. Bancomat presente in hotel. Wi-fi ok. Causa Covid-19 le camere non vengono pulite ogni giorno (due volte a settimana in modo frettoloso)

Great hotel. All rooms have sea views. Staff excellent especially bar staff. Room could do with a refurbishment but was clean. Not a hotel If you have mobility problems though as on steep hill and lots of steps. Pools lovely

Hotel is lovely and has the most stunning views. Staff could not do enough for you especially Nikolas and Manolito. Was disappointed to leave. Will definitely return.

Inaccettabile gestione, struttura obsoleta
Tutto molto male. Hotel datato, camera assegnata con serrarura della finestra rotta. Pretendono il pagamento anticipato senza garantirti alcuna qualità nei servizi. La cosa più grave: mi sono infortunato al dito e non avevano alcun medicinale da darmi. Vergognoso, addirittura l'acqua ossigenata scaduta due anni prima! La dipendente, con fare sgradevole, voleva convincermi del contrario: "What do you want, aspirina?". Grottesco Infine, per farsi perdonare, il manager ci ha offerto una bottiglia di vino rosso. Peccato che era di quelle con il tappo svitabile dal costo di 2 euro e 20 al supermercato. Ristrutturare e cambiare il personale, unica possibilità!

Please note that the resort is advertising accurate information and pictures to all our partner travel agents and some individual bookings require prepayment or payment upon arrival. Also, we have a medicine cabinet (as required by the law) in all our outlets but we cannot give out medicine without approval by a medical doctor. In the case where reception is asked for a medicine, we call the doctor by phone who is giving the permission to our employees to hand out the medicine, depending on the guest’s condition and maybe allergies. This is done for the safety of our guests. We definitely regret any kind misunderstanding, please accept our best regards from Miramare Resort & Spa.
