Very nice place for a family vacation
Very nice friendly personnel. Great place, location, food, animation program in the day and evening, quit clean beach and pool - everything one needs for a nice vacation. All the requests we had were handled quickly. We highly recommend this place for a family vacation.

Oppholde var fint. Hyggelige service arbeidere. Rent og fint. God buffe. Var ikke mye å gjøre på kveldene utenom å leke med kattene på parkeringen. Til de av dere som velger å bo her så husk å mat kattene.

Ok+ Good; the space, two different poolareas, bar close to the poolareas, close to the beach. Not so good: could have been better "service" from personal, the food at lunch/dinner could have been better, and the gym needs a upgrade in "tools".

Hotellet var greit nok, mye kunne vært bedre. Wifi'en var dårlig, det var ikke lydisolerte rom som det står i beskrivelsen av hotellet (mye støy fra gang og andre rom), personal kunne ventet litt med å gå inn på rommet etter de hadde banket på døren, slik at vi kunne åpnet for dem, var litt ubehagelig noen ganger når de plutselig bare kom inn. Bildene av hotellet lyger litt, det ser bedre ut enn det er.

Fint hotell i nærheten av stranden
Greit hotell. Vi hadde rom med sjøutsikt, og det er mulig at disse rommene er pusset opp senere enn noen av bildene vi hadde sett på forhånd. Badet var slitt. Farger og møbler er utdatert. Renhet veldig bra, noe som veier opp for at rommet føltes litt gammelt ut. Veldig bra frokostbuffet. Blide og serviceorienterte resepsjonister. Anbefaler hotel transfer, som blir billigere enn å ta taxi. Hadde røykfritt rom, og det er da kjedelig å ikke kunne/orke å bruke balkongen fordi naboene røyker ute. Heller ikke ha døren åpen. Lytt til gangen, men ble ikke plaget av bilstøy fra veien.

Ok hotell, men mye trafikk støy.
Booket superior rom med frokost og fantastisk sjøutsikt, fikk familierom uten sjøutsikt men med all inclusive. Et greit bytte, men all inclusive er ikke vår favoritt. Det skal sies at maten var meget bra. Mye trafikk støy i fløyen vår ødela helhets inntrykket.

Avslappende uke
Helt i sesongstart, så vi måtte inntil Platanias for å oppleve mer liv. Alt var perfekt på hotellet. Flott badestrand. Kommer gjerne tilbake ved en senere anledning.

Flott hotell PÅ stranden
Vi reiste en voksen og et barn (13) år. Kjempefint hotell med fantastisk beliggenhet helt nede på stranda. God frokost (som var det eneste vi prøvde) ikke noe Michelin men helt innafor normalen. Resepsjonen Betjenes av hyggelige mennesker i all hovedsak som gjorde alt vi ønsket. Noen manglende engelskkunnskaper og det er ikke alle som er like serviceminded. Hotellet er todelt. En del på stranda endel på den andre siden av en ganske trafikkert vei, men de bindes sammen med en egen undergang så det er ikke noe stort problem. På andre siden av veien ligger også svømmebassenget som ser større ut på bildene på nettet. Dette bassenget er dypt. Grunneste delen er ca to meter så det er ikke noe gunstig å leke i, kun bade. Med stranda så nært er dette ikke noe problem. Stille og rolig på nettene, men litt lytt ut mot gangen. Rommene er helt ok, men temmelig harde senger, men spør du i resepsjonen kan de gi deg mykere madrasser. Alt i alt et finfint hotell, ikke noe overdådig luksus men ligger PÅ stranden og den beste biten av stranda også. Så, er du på jakt etter et hotell med kort avstand til strand, butikker og restauranter ikke ønsker å tilbringe ferien på hotellrommet kan det klart anbefales.

Flott fasade, men.........
Bodde 1 uke på hotellet i vanlig dobbeltrom, hadde IKKE all inclusive. Først, de hadde rotet med bestillingen min og det var så vidt vi fikk rom da hotellet var fullt. Rommet var svært trangt og ukomfortabelt, spesielt badet. Hotellet er for øvrig et flott anlegg og spesielt det øvre bassenget og rundt var svært lekkert. MEN, det var nesten umulig å få tak i solsenger/stoler. Jeg tok opp dette i resepsjonen flere ganger men svaret var at det var FOR mange gjester!! Det var meget god plass rundt bassengområdene til å utplassere mange fler solsenger men dette var merkelig nok ikke prioritet for hotellet. Ellers, svært varierende servicenivå på personale - noen veldig hyggelige og andre helt motsatt. Spiste bare et måltid (lunsj) på hotellet, den var litt dyr men meget god. Satt igjen men en følelse av at dette hotellet ikke helt bryr seg om gjestene sine da de er fullbooket i sesongen uansett.

Helt Ok hotell med god service
Reiste til dette hotellet med min kjæreste og vi bodde på hotellet i 10 dager. Vi hadde all inklusive. Maten var helt Ok, vi synes middagsbuffen var for lite varier. Vi var veldig fornøyd med bassenget "relaxing pool" det andre bassenget var veldig bråkete med mange barn. Stranden på hotellet hadde rødt flagg alle de 10 dagene vi var der. Badevaktene blåste inn alle som gikk over knehøyde ut i vannet, dette var veldig kjedelig da vi liker godt å bade i sjøen. Skal man ha solseng ved basseng eller stranden må man stå opp tidlig for å legge ut handduker(helst kl8). Ellers var vi veldig fornøyd med servicen på hotellet.

Hyggelig og fint. God beliggenhet.
Min datter 13 år og jeg kom tilbake fra en super ferie. Veldig bra hotell og beliggenhet. Spiseområdet ute og inne var hyggelig og fristende. Lett tilgang til strand og hyggelig bassengområdet. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake. Kunne vært bedre Internett tilgang.

Skuffande!
Eg bestilte rom for 5 dagar. Betalte ekstra for havutsikt og dobbeltrom med all inclusive. Den dagen eg ankom seint på kvelden hadde dei ikkje rommet eg hadde betalt for ledig til meg. Ikkje noko anna rom heller. Inga unnskyldning, berre beskjed om å måtte reise til eit anna hotell til dagen etter. Dagen etter var rommet heller ikkje klart, berre eit simpelt rom langt bak i ein hage med verandaen full av buskas og inga utsikt. Det samme dagen etter. Og dagen etter. Den fjerde dagen var endeleg rommet mitt klart, sidan eg gjekk til resepsjonen KVAR dag og gjorde dei oppmerksomme på at eg ikkje fekk det eg hadde betalt mykje ekstra for å få. Inga unnskyldning eller audmjuk haldning frå personale. All inclusive-buffeten var smaklaus og det samme vart servert kvar einaste dag. Etter 2 dagar gjekk eg ut og spiste.

One week
Jeg var her i en uke på en-manns rom. Stort sett fornøyd ned oppholdet, men hun som daglig sjekket minibaren, tok ingen hensyn til "Do not disturb"-skiltet jeg hadde lagt på utsiden av hotelldøren. Hun banket på, og fikk hun ikke svar på 2 sekunder, gikk hun rett inn. Også den gangen jeg lå og sov midt på dagen uten en tråd på kroppen. Hennes atferd gjør at jeg trekker ned hele 1 poeng på dette oppholdet.

Ikke hva vi ble forespeilet!!
Dette hotellet har ikke den standarden hotels skriver på sine sider. Wifi er kun i lobby, på er lite området. Sengene er harde, altså ingen over madrass, badet er veldig lite, ikke badekar som det står, bassenget er lite, maten var heeelt elendig. Dundyner og sminkespeil var det heller ikke selv om det stod at det skulle være.

Ok hotell. Vil anbefale å bestille rom med havutsikt. Hotellet er delt i to, den øverste delen er nær veien, og mye trafikkstøy. God service, maten er helt grei. Et minus er sengene på rommet, de var kjempeharde. Stranden var super, fin sand, må betale for solstoler. Kort veg med buss til Chania.

Nice staff, worn down hotel
My girlfrien had spent quite some time to find a nice hotel. We ended up with Sana Marina, which had nice reviews and great pictures. The staff was generally nice and helpful, allthough a bit stressed. The restaurant was midrange, but cheap. The general location is what you would except from a resort like this. but it was nicely located by the beach. The most disappointing thing was the general standard of the hotell: it was pretty worn down! The whole hotell chould need a paint job, and the baths in general should be replaced. The swimming pool had definately seen its better days, and the "gym" was a joke. So, if you want to stay mostly on the beach, close to the hotel and have some nice meals while on a budget, this is your hotel.

Jeg reiste sammen med en venn og bodde på Santa Marina Beach i 4 netter. Hotellet består av to deler, der den ene ligger rett ved siden av stranden, mens du kan benytte tunellen under veien til bassengdelen av hotellet. Flott standard på maten og vennlig personale. Kort vei til stranden. Lokale tavernaer i nærheten og 10 minutter med taxi til Chania, ca 15 Euro. Rommet var lite og enkelt, men vi hadde en stor balkong med utsikt mot havet. Veldig lite bad. Helt ok rom. Beliggenheten og servicen veier opp for dette. Kan anbefales!

Vi hadde noen herlige dager på hotellet. Opplevde et serviceinnstilt personalet og hyggelig atmosfære. Både mannen min, barnebarnet på 14 og jeg hadde noen fine dager og kommer gjerne tilbake til dette hotellet.

Koste oss på Santa Marina Beach
Vi bodde på den delen som ligger rett ut mot stranden, og var veldig fornøyde med det valget. Mange av hotellene ligger på andre siden av veien, men vi hadde deilig utsikt og ikke noe trafikkstøy, Hotellet er delt i 2 med en del på stranden og 1 del ved bassenget. Noen av de rommene som ligger mot bassenget liggerrett ved en trafikkert vei. Vi hadde bare frokost inkludert, og var veldig fornøyd med den. Så ut som lunch og middag var bra også (buffet), uten at vi testet det. Tok 20-30 minutter å gå inn til Platanias.Taxi kostet ca 7 euro. Til Chania kostet det 12/14 euro med taxi. Var visst en bussholdeplass rett ved hotellet, men vi tok ikke bussen selv. Ellers er det mange restauranter både på strand og ved veien når man går den veien. Nye håndduker hver dag. Rent og pent. Det var også aktiviteter på hotellet hver kveld omtrent. Musikk quiz, hitparade i baren, morgengym osv. Alle som jobbet der var også veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Servitørene var profesjonelle og hadde god peiling på gode drinker, mat og vin. Reiser gjerne tilbake :)

Vi fikk en hyggelig pris på overnatting inkl. frokost på rom med utsikt til bassengområdet. Noe trafikkstøy fra veien som skiller denne delen av hotellet med resten som ligger nede på stranden, men ikke plagsom. Hotellet ligger i et "rolig" område, men med kort vei til både Chania og Platanias.

Behagelig feriehotel rett på stranden!
Perfekt hotel for de som ønsker å bo på stranden. Stor og deilig utendørs terasseplass med bar og restaurant mellom hotelbygningen og strand. Her kan man nyte frokosten (og andre måltider) bokstavlig talt i strandkanten. Hyggelig og servicevennlig betjening gjør at man trives. Flere gode restauranter like ved hotellet. Buss til/fra Chania stopper rett utenfor hovedinngangen. Anbefales!!!

Vacation
I stayed at this hotel for one week and paid 170 euros per night. It states that its a 4 star hotel. Its maximum a 3 star hotel. Whoever states otherwise hasent travelled in their life. Rooms are like 100 years old. Bathrooms are old and the waterpipes loud. In the room you cab here your neighbor talk, go to the toilet and whenever a neighbor door closes its like a bomb going of. Impossible to sleep. Mosquitoes in the room and i spent the night killing all of them because it’s impossible to sleep aince they keep biting you. So take into consideration to apend 2 hours every night killing mosquitoes. Pool was old and very few sunbeds. If you are not the first person to the pool you will have to amtry and get a bed at the beach. Beach area not so nice. Too many rocks before getting into the water. Breakfast was the worst experience ever. Very few varieties and tasteless and to so attractive at all. Restaurant had no aircondition so you start the dlday sweating or you can sit outaide and sweat in the sun. The dont have a lugageroom which is important since there are many people with a later flight than morning flights. If going to grecce if you dont book a 5 star hotel dont go there. And for the prices they are charging it’s definitely not worth going. They have such a low standard that it’s ridiculous. Around the hotel area there are shops and restaurants. All the shops prives are ridiculously high. Alomst a scam for what they are charging tourists.

Front desk did not give any information related to the all inclusive perks. We could not reserve a la carte dining because we did not know we had to reserve 24 hours ahead. We received the info the next day in English. They would not give us a late check out, even by an hour and did not offer a place to shower in the interim. Our room was a good distance from all activities by the beach. People would reserve beach chairs early and not use them. No one was enforcing the rules. No water sports or hotel activities at this location. Housekeeping was good The rooms were clean and large. Nice and clean pools. The beaches are very nice there.

Highly recommend
Awesome place all the staff are amazing really helpful. Everything sorted on sofe. Pcr teats, excursions. Great location too.

All spaces are very nice designed and well maintained - from loby to pools areas Love a lot the restaurant and bar terrace with an amaizing sea view Very calm and relaxing place

Quattro stelle scadente
La struttura non é un 4 stelle. Sono più strutture assemblate. Salone ristorante con sedie con cuscini sporchi e maleodoranti. Pochi ombrelloni in spiaggia e nelle due piscine. Animazione inesistente, in una settimana i bambini sono stati coinvolti nei giochi in piscina una sola volta e per breve tempo. Bella la zona nuova ma vecchio tutto il resto. Nel bagno la porta sbatteva contro il gabinetto. Lenzuola e teli mare forati e macchiati. La vista giardino era inquietante. La struttura é attraversata dalla strada principale e per raggiungere spiaggia e ristorante c'è un tunnel sporco da attraversare. Personale per nulla cordiale ad eccezione di pochi. Il mare non eccezionale. Cibo nella norma, buoni veramente solo i dolci. Forse un tre stelle. Inesistente il supporto di hotel.com ma le lamentele per questo saranno gestite in separata sede.

Kindly be informed, that we are officially a 4-star hotel set in 3 different complexes and even though the setting obviously did not seem to be to your liking, we wish you would have read your agent's hotel description or even visited the Hotel's official web page to find out more information about the premises as well as the facilities, prior to your booking. As a hotel we take great pride regarding our staff service and cleaning standards, still we accept all criticism and your comments will be discussed at length with our staff members to ensure improvement. All in all, we would have loved to have been given the chance to talk to you during your stay and try to rectify anything that was not right. Great family holiday,go during UK school holiday
This hotel is made by the staff, they are awesome and all deserve a pay rise. We had some hick ups with the room and the misunderstanding about what’s included in the Ultra All Inclusive upgrade. But everything was sorted promptly by the amazing staff even the general manger knew who we was and come to check we’re happy. Iftihis in a la cart restaurant was amazing and really good with our 2 year old girl. Staveros was amazing and makes the best cocktails(attention to detail) Anna at Guest relations was very friendly and kind and Christina at check in was super helpful and kind. It has to be said that the Ultra Inclusive is still only partially inclusive but it’s WELL WORTH the money!!!!! The only unpleasant we had was with the other guests! But the hotel can’t help that their in the business of filling rooms and large groups of people from the old eastern block do just that!!! It must be a cultural thing but we found them very very rude and unfriendly, a pair of old couples nearly push my daughter down the stairs cause they was in a hurry and didn’t even say sorry. They never say hello or smile and my little girl desperately tried to play with the other kids but they wasn’t interested instead they pushed her over. Maybe we went wrong time of year for guest from UK(early June). I just want to confirm we had an amazing holiday and would go again and I’m only mentioning it so guest can make an informed decision. We will miss Santa Marina, until next 😀
