Et flott sted for å slappe av
Var gjester her i en uke. Fantastisk utsikt over byen og havet. Hyggelige ansatte og fine omgivelser. Hotellet ligger litt langt fra by og strender, men de tilbyr gratis transport til Zakynthos by og Tsivili flere ganger om dagen, slik at dette ikke var noe problem. Vi hadde et avslappende opphold og var godt fornøyde med vårt opphold her. Hotellet tar ikke imot gjester som er under 12 år, og det bidrar til rolige omgivelser. Verdt å merke seg at det er krav om at mannlige gjester bruker langbukser under middagen. Om vi skal si noe negativt, var maten litt kjedelig og alkoholen man fikk på all inklusive i tynneste laget. Observerte folk drikke fra morgen til kveld uten at noen framsto som beruset. Anbefaler hotellet til voksne som ønsker seg en avslappende ferie. Ønsker du høy partyfaktor bør du velge et annet sted.

Receptionist was unbelievably rude, spoke badly about us unaware that we understand her. Did not respect 'Do Not Disturb' signs. Services included in reservation (included dinners, breakfasts, welcome drinks, water bottles, etc) needed to be specifically asked for and at times disputed. If you can stay anywhere else, do. We stayed here during OFF/ SLOW season so there is no excuse for the lack of service/ cleanliness.

We generally encourage our guests to express their inconvenience during their stay so as to improve our services and our valued guests experience. Further to your comments, we were taken by surprise, since your discomfort was not as straightforward.Although all services you booked for were provided, we are sorry for the misunderstanding regarding the “welcome drink”. It is a complimentary service and by general hotel policy it is offered only upon arrival, it is non-alcoholic and unfortunately it cannot be provided on other occasions.Your dinner offer was a misunderstanding, it was sorted out immediately and did not cause any inconvenience to you. Honestly, nothing was ever disputed.About the door sign, we apologized that the staff missed it, but it was an honest human mistake. On the other hand, we are sincerely confused as to why you would bring the cleanliness issue up, since you had the “do not disturb” on during your whole stay.We hope that we will have the chance to welcome you in Avalon Palace Hotel in the near future again, so as to alter any negative thoughts that you may have at the moment.Best regards

I wasn’t overly impressed with this hotel. You get what you pay for. The photos and reviews definitely looked better than I expected. It’s fine if you’re just looking for a cheap place to sleep although the beds are pretty hard. Rooms can use updating. I was in a mountain view room which was actually a view of the parking lot.

Great location. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the sea. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. Very close to the city centre and they have a free shuttle to take you back and forth if you don’t have your own transportation. We had a later flight so we were able to stay by the beautiful pool and shower after we checked out. The property is very clean but room washrooms could use some updating.

De lokatie is prachtig, boven op een heuvel met uitzicht over zee en stad. Het gebouw en de kamer was wel toe aan een upgrade, ook was onze kamer voor 3 personen niet groot. Het ontbijt had beperkt assortiment en er zat geen variatie in per dag. Het personeel is aardig en behulpzaam zoals de chauffeur van de shuttlebus en de barkeeper. Het is lekker rustig in het hotel (Adults Only) en rondom het zwembad ligt het prima al zou een upgrade daar (bedjes, parasols) ook niet overbodig zijn.

Quite mediocre, nothing but bare necessities and even those are nothing to write home about. My room had ants, shower curtain was made up of a weird material that kept sticking to me and was hardly effective - floor was soaked after each shower. There’s no option to ask the cleaning staff to “do not disturb”. Only beer option is Mythos for 5 euro?! Best part about my room was that the AC worked well and there is a fridge.

Dear guest, though the rooms get cleaned every day, keep in mind that the hotel is located in the nature and harmless bugs here in Greece are in our everyday life. You could inform reception staff if you would like room service another time. Beautiful property, pool, building, sitting areas. Impressive wood furniture collection. Needs TLC. Some renovation required, particularly with plumbing. New linens. Our sheet had cigarettes burns. Floors need to b.cleaned daily. Very dirty under bed.

Beautiful view and that’s all.
This hotel is not a 4 stars.. We had the Suite Private Pool. The room was fine but there were lot of problems. The rain shower isn’t working good. The second TV in the sofa didn’t work. The lights in the pool didn’t work neither! We told to the reception but never had been repaired! We asked for a bottle of Prosecco in the room but they said no room service. For a four stars hotel this is so bad!!!

my girlfriend and I had one of the suites with the private pools for 6 nights. easily one of the nicest hotel rooms i’ve ever stayed in and the view is absolutely amazing. honestly you could spend your whole vacation inside the suite and be totally satisfied. they offer free shuttle service to and from the beach and town area multiple times a day, the driver Stavros runs the streets of zakynthos, he was on time everyday for pickups and drop offs. the front desk man, John, was the most helpful and pleasant hotel worker i’ve ever encountered. like this man would run to the door to open it for us if he saw us coming from a distance. to address all the people in previous comments regarding the breakfast, it was buffet style plenty of options, eggs cooked multiple ways, fruit, bread, pastries, yogurt. not sure what more people expect from a free breakfast. dinner at the hotel is also very good, buffet style, $10 all you can eat traditional greek style food. no complaints whatsoever on the dinner. overall this is a superior hotel in zakynthos if you get the suite with private pool, 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Such an amazing place, the view it’s absolutely stunning, you can see all the movement from Zante. Very good breakfast and the staff from the receptionist to the barman are very nice. You have transfer from and yo the airport. The only thing which I would change would be the pool timingz I would let it open until later in the night.

What an amazing view. Waking up to that everyday made the whole trip! It's a very basic hotel and comfortable enough. Pool area could do with some landscaping and beds were quite hard. Staff were helpful with any request. You do have to ask for a lot of things for your room which should usually just be there.

Das war ein grossartiger Aufenthalt! Ich habe selten so ein wunderschönes Zimmer gesehen. Die Suite war mit einem eigenen Pool und es war sehr sauber. Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt. Das Personal war freundlich. Das Hotel bietet einen kostenloses Service zum und vom Flughafen, jedoch ist uns leider niemand abholen gekommen. Fand ich sehr schade, dass die Organisation nicht funktioniert hat. Wie auch immer - das Zimmer ist sehr empfehlenswert!

Great short stay whilst island hopping
This was a great short stay during an island hoping trip. The hotel is well located for restaurants over looking Zante Town and for Zante town it's self. The communal areas were clean and not overly crowded and the rooms were very spacious. Staff were attentive and provided details service and information. Breakfast was very nice with a great view.

Booked a suite with a private pool and it was amazing. View is awesome and the suite is modern and elegant. We ate at the hotel once in the evening and the food was really good. Breakfast is typical European with meats and cheeses but also with a cooked option. All staff were polite and helpful at all times. Over all very impressed and will go back. Thank you Avalon.

조식은 맛있었다. 근데 옆에 무심코 자판기에있는 커피 뽑아먹으면 돈이 든다 프리가 아니라고 표시해놨으면좋겠다. 화장실 청결은 생각보다 별로였고 수영장을 사용할수없는 기간이라 안타까웠다 직원들은 대부분 친절했고 꼭대기쪽에 위치해 한적해서 편안하게 쉬기 좋았다
