Another Awesome Abacos Adventure

Our daughter and son were both recently married and our entire/newly enlarged family enjoyed sharing the Abacos with our "new son and daughter." We are already planning to return together :D

Magical

We spent a week in the Watch Hill house. The house itself was absolutely beautiful, clean, provisioned with everything we might have needed. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises from our bed every morning. Being able to walk out from the house, down the stairs, and step directly on the beach was an added plus. The magic kicked in when our 6 and 8 year old granddaughters were able to snorkel off of the beach right to a reef overflowing with tropical fish. And if they weren't snorkeling, they were collecting mermaid fins along the beach. It truly is a magical place. Thank you, Gina, for checking us in. We had a fun week making lots of memories as a family.

Super beautiful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at watch hill. We loved the long road to get to the house and the view was just unreal. Every room in the house there is a gorgeous view!! If we had to add anything we would have enjoyed a hot tub on the back porch! 5 stars all the way around. Would stay here again 😊

Oceanfront Delight

Absolutely gorgeous ocean views. The house is very clean and comfortable. Three couples were very comfortable in the space. The kitchen is loaded with all you need to cook and you will be cooking because the dining options on the island are lacking. That is the only downside in our opinion. We were able to get a personal shopper on MH twice to ferry us provisions. A seafood company also sent us shellfish on the ferry for no extra charge. There is a nice grocery on the island for giggles and two liquor stores so you won’t dry out. Gina was fantastic and answered every text quickly and helped us to and from the ferry dock, she is an excellent asset. We rented a boat and had an awesome time exploring other islands, highly recommend Abaco Inn for lunch on Elbo. We did have a rough water experience where the wind changed direction and scared us pretty good trying to get back to Guana. Novice boaters beware, the rental company assured us we were fine when we left the dock. We tried pretty hard to make friends and get into Bakers for a decent meal but to no avail, maybe next time! We will be back!

Watch Hill House

First time using VRBO. Great Experience! House was great. Back up generator made all the difference in the stay. Host was amazing. Property manager Gina was great. Location is in the middle of everything close enough and also just enough off the beaten path for serenity.

New Orleans Gang/ Krewe of Conch!

The home is beautiful in a great location. The owners could not be any nicer. This is a great property if you are coming to Guana, very highly recommend it. Ocean views are breathtaking and very nice, large deck over looking the beach/ocean. We have been to Guana 20-25 times and will be staying in this house every time we return. To the host, Job very well done! Thanks for allowing us to stay here! a warning to anyone wanting to come for a week... be careful because you just might fall in love and rent for a month!

This is our second time staying at Whatch Hill. Everything about it is perfect. Gina the house caretaker is fabulous. The views from every room are breathtaking. Nice having Nippers open again and always enjoy a great time at Grabbers. We'll be back again soon!

Relaxing Vacation

I was very impressed with this house. It has everything that you need so you don't need to pack as much. It has a cooler, towels, hairdryers, etc. Most of the time we were the only ones on the beach. We would stay there again at this ocean side house. The only thing that it does need is an iron and mats at the outside doors. Thank You for letting us enjoy your house.

Wonderful Oceanfront Rental

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 children) loved staying at Watch Hill for a week. While we’ve been coming to Guana for years and own a home on the island (that we are still rebuilding), we felt right at home at Watch Hill. Booking the house was seamless. Description of the house was spot on. The house caretaker was wonderful. The home is in a perfect location for anyone, but especially first timers to the island as it’s close to the settlement but also very private and the view couldn’t be prettier. Highly recommend staying at Watch Hill!

Magical Trip

We spent 8 days at the Watch House on the Hill. We only had pictures and comments from the neighbors about what a magical place it would be. Their words do not compare to how magical we found the house once we got there. We came with friends and family, my son proposed at the bottom of the steps to his future bride with t h ways breaking in the background. The house had everything as advertised all you had to do is bring groceries and libations which we brought plenty of each. The house is in easy access of Nippers and not too far from Grabbers the two main drinking and eating establishments on the island. Not far from the ferry dock either. House was idea for everyone, each bedroom as its own ensuite bath & shower. Each room has is its own split unit ac for climate control. Kitchent is well equipped with silverware, dishes, pots and pans. Even has ample number of spices, so don't bother bringing your own. New Webber grill for all your grilling needs. Outdoor deck has great deck chairs as well as lounge chairs for the beach. Main living area has very comfortable furniture and great TV with DirecTV which was a real bonus. Internet was good when it worked, but it's the islands man, relax. We will be making a trip back some time in the future. Axel H

Family vacation to Guana

We were so happy to return to Guana. So many places have been rebuilt since the hurricane and so much more is still in progress. We really enjoyed staying at watch hill. We rented a golf cart and boat experience from dive guana. We look forward to returning again soon. Definitely recommend watch hill for your stay. The property is renovated and beautiful. The deck over looking the ocean is perfect. The only thing that gave us some issues was the internet - not a big deal since you’re hopefully enjoying the outside all day- just sometimes needed for remote working. The other amenities were great. The inside of this house is beautiful.

Location, location, location

Boated from Florida to Guana Cay. First trip to the Abaco islands. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary. I can’t say enough about the location of this property. Situated on one of the most beautiful stretches of Atlantic beach we saw the entire time we were in the Abaco Islands. Ten minute walked to Nippers down the beach. Five minute golf cart ride to our boat at Orchid Bay marina. Just a fantastic location. We enjoyed it so much, we are taking back our kids in a month to stay. Great views from the multiple balconies. All the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We cooked half of our dinners, and ate out the other half. The home has all the items needed for cooking nice meals (we brought food from mainland with us). Guana Cay is a fantastic island and Watch Hill was a great place to enjoy it from.

Absolutely AMAZING!!!

What a beautiful home! Every room has an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean. The beach and ocean are breath taking. The owner Tim was very helpful & super nice. Gina (who takes care of the home) was very responsive and helpful. Wonderful lady! House was well stocked. Can’t think of anything else you would need. We rented a boat at Dive Guana. Troy (the owner) was awesome! Enjoyed going to Grabbers for drinks and food. Hope to be back soon!!!! Thank you Tim & Gina :-)

All you could want

The house was cozy, clean and with great views right on the Atlantic beach. We felt at home. It was easy to prepare all our meals. We rented a golf cart and boat in the settlement, fished or beached daily and had fun. The Wi-Fi and Direct TV added to our experience
