«The room was not at all like the pictures. First room we were placed in was over a liquor store, which was not explained on expedia. The room smelled terrible. There was a hole in the wall, dead bugs smushed into the walls, cobwebs in the corners that tangled so far down. Went down to the front desk and asked for another room. The second room was just as bad. the door didnt open the whole way because the bed was in the way. Didn't feel safe enough to stay.»

«I can't fully express my disappointment with this hotel. The website said newly remodeled rooms and the only thing that we saw newer than 1970 was the flooring. We booked this stay for a black tie event at the (unfortunately, sold out) Thayer Hotel, and were so uncomfortable with the condition of this room and property, that we drove over two hours to go home rather than stay the night in this poor excuse for an inn.»

«With our initial room smelling of mildew, the second one was no better, the AC worked when it wanted to, mind you it was literally freezing temperatures the night we stayed. The light were inconsistent, through out the room, with outlets being painted over completely, so we only had one working outlet. The fridge in the room still had leftovers from previous visitors and who knows how long it actually was there for. The bathroom was a different beast the windows had glued on paper to cover it so ...
