  • Bringing it back to our roots. This 800 sq/ft home from the 50’s has undergone some serious renovations with you in mind. Located steps from Lake Muskoka, a short drive or canoe trip to the Gravenhurst wharf, and an even shorter drive to town; just the beginning of what this home has to offer. Enjoy walking trails, a near by boat launch with private mooring space, sawdust city brewery, the oar restaurant, Muskoka boat rentals, muskoka wake lessons brought right to the dock, YMCA/Graeme Murray arena, steamship tours, parasailing, local events, and more; All within 3 km of this private end of road cul-de-sac. Enjoy our 2 person infrared sauna and our 6 person hot tub after a long hike, a day on the water, a local triathalon, or a busy day at hockey camp. Request our tent and some toddler bikes for those milestone moments and childhood experiences. We are a 4 season home offering stays year round! Connected to all town services (natural gas, town water and sewer, hydro), and only 2 km away from town, you will not be without the necessaties while still unwinding in a space where you’ll feel unplugged. With 15 years experience as longterm landlords, nearly 20 years experience in the hospitality industry, and lifetime experiences as local Gravenhurst residents, Whatever you’re looking for during your stay, we can help navigate you in the right direction. For our friends in hospitality, Enjoy discounted rates when arriving Sunday-Tuesday. Nightlife at the kee to Bala for the infamous resort night with a free bus to and from the gravenhurst wharf. Please note, you will be amongst a much younger crowd, however, the kee to bala is certainly an experience you dont want to miss regardless. Allow us to take on the extra run around. Our family of four had a great stay at Sawdust City Haus! It is even cuter in person than the photos- spotlessly clean, all the kitchen things and linens you need, and very comfortable and cozy. Clear and easy check-in and quick communication from Devon, our friendly host.We stayed in July, so I wasn’t sure if we would use the sauna and hot tub, but mornings were cool enough to take full advantage we hope to be back!

Very cozy cabin, perfect for a quiet week away with family. The cabin is loaded with amenities and the hot tub was a fantastic plus! Close to all kinds attractions! Strongly recommend booking!

We had a great time! Hot tub was great, host was great! Highly recommend a visit to the sawdust city haus if you are coming to Gravenhurst! Winter is beautiful up there.

The rental property is nice (very cute and cozy)but neighbour's next to rental is not very appealing. This is unfortunate. I like to be closer to water so likely won't return but we did enjoy our stay and loved the hot tub and outdoor sauna.

Our second trip to Sawdust City Haus and we loved every moment of it. Devon is a great host who works hard to make sure you have everything you need for your stay. The hot tub is wonderful and the skating rink was a fun way to spend some time. We can't wait to come back next winter!

Warm and inviting space made for a quaint getaway in the winter. The location was beautiful and quiet. Great amenities including hot tub and sauna. Devon was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this to friends and family!

This place is PERFECT. A cozy (but not cramped) two bedroom cottage that gives a rustic feel without sacraficing creature comforts. The beds are SUPER comfortable and the linens were fresh and clean. The hot tube was cleaned and water replaced before we arrived with fresh towels. The house rules were really clear and very laid back with reasonable explanations. (Ex. No glass white in the hottub due to previous damage). She even made notes about all the places to enjoy and see in the area. It's still close to town which is great in case you forgot something and even better for finding cute shops and great dining! The host, Devon, is easy to get in touch with and takes great care to maintain high standards. It's clear she put a lot of effort into making this place feel like a home away from home. We'll be booking again for next year for sure!!!

Beautiful cozy cottage. We went for a peaceful winter getaway to get some much needed R&R, and this place absolutely delivered. We loved relaxing in the hot tub watching the snow fall. Devon was a great host. She was very communicative and has thought of most everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Perfect cozy cabin

This is a fantastic place to stay - great hosts and everything you could ask for in a cabin, including a hot tub, fire pit, and even reliable wifi. I would not hesitate to book again, we loved everything about our stay.

We had everything we needed and then some! Devon was very helpful, the cabin tiny and perfect. Great location - close to town, great dog walking trail and minutes from cross-country skiing. The cherry on top was the hot tub for apres ski sore muscles. A perfect place for our snow-cation!!

This was the most peaceful place I have ever stayed. I misunderstood and thought it was on the water and was very thankful that Muskoka Bay Park was less than 10 minutes away and had a small beach front. I also think the front room could use another a/c window unit because this room was often quite too warm. I loved how close the deer came to walk around. My dog didn’t, but I loved seeing them just chilling everywhere. The hot tub and Alexa were great additions to my stay since they added to my relaxation and fun. I was disappointed I could not access any other streaming service other than Youtube because a previous guest had changed all the settings.Devon was a fantastic host and very attentive. She absolutely made the enjoyment of my stay a priority and I could feel that because she was very quick to respond to questions I had. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We did a quick weekend trip here and had a really great time! It was a very nice place to stay in and was so nice relaxing in the hot tub while it was cold out. A snowstorm rolled in the morning we were leaving, and Devon even offered us a discounted extra night. We would have taken it, but unfortunately we had to be home that evening. Would recommend this place!

Weekend getaway stay at Sawdust City Haus

My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend away, and are glad we chose to stay at Sawdust City Haus. The cabin was very cozy, clean, and the perfect setting for our getaway. We will be back!

My partner and I were looking for a cozy winter weekend and this was absolutely perfect! We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. The exterior is gorgeous and the patio lights are an added cozy touch. The hot tub was very clean and perfectly situated with a nice view of the woods. The interior was very cozy and beautifully decorated. We decided to stay in and cook, and the kitchen was very well-equipped! There is nothing more we could have asked for and wouldn’t change a thing! Devon and Josh were lovely hosts and easy to get in touch with. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

Wedding weekend

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the close proximity to the wedding venue Sawdust City. Hot tub and sauna was very enjoyable and they even had a bin of toys for our two dogs to use. Would absolutely stay again.

Rustic Muskoka Charm

We had a great stay at this property. It was all the things I could have wanted to be in Muskoka. Devon the owner was a joy to chat with and she made sure we were ok every step of the way.
