«My fiancé and I stayed 3 nights here in March and while I wouldn't call it a 5-star hotel, we had an excellent experience.
Something to consider when staying here is that it is located about 40 minutes away from the main city area (Christiansted) and the roads leading up the hotel get narrow and the cell service gets shotty. «I genuinely don’t understand how this hotel manages to stay in business. From the moment I checked in, it was clear that this place is long overdue for a complete overhaul—starting with the room bathrooms, which were an absolute disaster. Poor water pressure, inconsistent drainage, flushing that looked like they hadn’t been updated (or properly maintained) in decades made even the simplest routines frustrating.

«The room was comfortable and had more amenities than other places I have stayed in St.Croix. The owners were friendly and helpful. The views were beautiful and the breeze enjoyable in the evening. «We had 5 wonderful days at Renaissance in Carambola Beach. Very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. Two very good restaurants, both facing the beach, with options to sit in or out doors. Very nice beach and beach facilities. Snorkling OK immediately westwards from the beach, but fantastic at Cane bay Beach a few km eastwards. We rented a car and "did St Croix" in the morning/mid day, then relaxed in the afternoon and evening at the beach and in the hotel. Hope to be there again some time.»
