Create lifelong memories at our lakeside retreat! Located on Shadow Mountain Lake with a stunning view of Mount Baldy, minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park. The town of Grand Lake is just 1 mile away and provides a classic 'old west' small-town ambiance and fun for the whole family. Stroll through town and visit local shops, dining, and the summer bingo nights, or rent a boat from the marina and explore the area on the water! The downtown also has mini-golf, horse rides, go-carts, and a great playground. In the winter there is a free tubing hill and cross-country skiing at the golf course, and many miles of snowmobiling trails throughout the area. Ski nearby at Granby Ranch or Winter Park. Perfect for family and friend gatherings or business and wellness retreats!

Our house is equipped with tons of entertainment options and yard games for all ages, as well as amenities needed for the kids to have their own memorable time. Enjoy the 8-person hot tub, games, toys, books for all ages, movie and music systems, stand-up paddleboards and kayak (weather permitting), snowshoes, etc.

Upper level: Welcoming entrance, bathroom, two bedrooms each with a queen bed, laundry/ mudroom, and heated garage.

Main floor: Primary bedroom with a king bed, powder room, beautiful gourmet chef’s kitchen with a large island and two dishwashers, great room with large TV and surround sound, dining space, and an additional laundry room. We stock coffee, teas, hot chocolate, creamer, and lots of cooking seasonings.

Main floor deck: The large deck has a perfect view of Shadow Mountain Lake and Mount Baldy, and plenty of room for everyone with a large dining table, sectional couch and large chairs, a chaise lounge, and a gas grill.

Lower level: Additional TV space/ rec room, two arcade games, foosball, a bunk room that sleeps up to 8 with an adjacent bathroom, one additional bedroom with a queen bed, bathroom, wet bar, and large sliding glass doors that walk out to the lower patio.

Lower patio: Enjoy the year-round hot tub, a table for 6, a kid's picnic table, and two Adirondack rocking chairs facing the water. The turf creates an additional recreational space and an enclosed split rail fence (perfect for containing your pup). Enjoy our cornhole set and other outdoor toys! Just outside the fence is the lake and private dock.

In an effort to be as transparent as possible, this is not the best fit for those who have difficulty climbing stairs. This is a 3-story house at a mountain altitude. We want everyone to be comfortable and enjoy their stay!

Every bedroom has blackout curtains and fans if desired.

There are security camera's on the exterior doors and garage only.

Please note the boat house is not ours, but we have a private dock that you can tie your boat up to. The dock is also an excellent fishing location! The dock is installed and available late May - late September, and removed during the cold season when the lake is frozen.

Parking spots for up to 5 vehicles, garage is available for your use.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this beautiful home. You cannot beat the views and it is decorated to perfection, layout is accommodating and the main room could not be better for relaxing together while taking in the views of Shadow Lake. I especially enjoy the town of Grand Lake, it is comfortable and welcoming and the whole family had a wonderful time at their annual tree lighting ceremony. We look forward to staying here again!

Fun Location and Beautiful Home

Beautiful home overlooking the lake. Close to downtown Grand Lake, which is quaint but has all the amenities you need. We used the house as a basecamp to go skiing in Granby not far away. The only challenge was the road to the house. It was very muddy and challenging to get in and out of with the trash can right in the way.

This house is absolutely beautiful with stellar lakefront views! Be aware of stairs, open stairs, so that could pose a problem with children, pets, or people with mobility issues! Otherwise the house is great, gas fireplace, amazing kitchen, comfy beds, and 5 minute into old town Grand Lake!, perfection!

We had a terrific family get together. What a spectacular deck and view! The location is terrific, excellent accommodations and very gracious host. Super easy to work with. We were even fortunate enough to spot lots of local critters….moose, ducks, geese and even bears. Great location for everything you could want.

Grand Lake Adventure

Had a great time at Grand Lake. Host was very gracious as we celebrated our 50th anniversary with family. House was perfect and location so beautiful. The house has all the items needed to assist our requirements. Sitting in hot tub early am watching sun come over mountains was breath taking. Loved it all.

Accommodating, beautiful, and comfortable!

This house had everything we needed, we even opted to stay in for dinner both nights we were there, it was that wonderful. The views (even in winter) of the lake were incredible, and we couldn't easily housed 5 more people without any issues. I loved this place so much I want to return in the summer!

We had a wonderful stay at this newly built house. Easy access and on the water is always a plus.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Brand new house with very tasteful interior decor. With the weather snowing the entire time it was nice to come inside to the radiant heated floors and very warm gas fireplace. The little ones loved the basement with all the games and bunk room. Zero complaints about the house. Would definitely rent this property again, especially during the summer as there has to be great fishing right outside your back door.

This house has the WOW effect

This house was exceptional in every way. The location is ideal (right on the lake) and the views from every room are spectacular. The host made sure we lacked for nothing. Every room had a comfortable bed and a bathroom nearby or attached. The kids bunk room on the lower level sleeps 8 - each in an individual bunk with stairs (not ladders) to the top bunk for safety. This room was a huge hit with the grandchildren and nearby on the same level was a large activity/TV room with toys and games - we rarely saw the kids upstairs. The same lower level has a dog bath with a door to the back yard. We didn't bring our small dog, but would definitely consider it for the next visit. The kitchen was fully stocked including a hot chocolate bar and coffee station. A culinary chef would enjoy cooking in this kitchen. The host was very responsive when we had questions and it is evident she wanted us to have an enjoyable vacation. We certainly did enjoy ourselves and would return in a heartbeat.

Perfect Home for the Holidays

We were so thrilled to find this property to spend the Christmas holiday with our family. Courtney was always prompt to reply and had the entire home festively decorated. The home is brand new with state of the art electronics, appliances, and finishings. We had 9 people stay with plenty of room to spread out for privacy but also with great central locations to spend dinner and play games together. The hot tub was a fun bonus overlooking the lake. The location was within 40 minutes of winter park resort for skiing and snowmobiling and across the way for tubing and cross country skiing. We are already hoping to book another stay in the future. We so highly recommend this property!
