Beautiful house that is fully stocked with everything you could need. Peaceful lake with many yard games and kayaks to use. The whole property is fenced in so that was amazing for our dog to be able to roam the area and us to feel safe and secure with him being off leash. My kids loved fishing off the docks and on the kayaks. Kids bunk room is awesome with so many beds to choose from. Could easily accommodate multiple families. One thing to note that the upstairs bedroom is lofted so not completely enclosed. 15 minute drive to South Haven. We enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay at Julie’s VRBO. We had a group of 14 up for a weekend guys trip and every single person in the group was blown away by the house and the experience renting through Julie. The property is in terrific condition and there is so much to do at the house between the lake access, the kayaks and floats, the lawn games Julie provides, the board games and setup inside. The sleeping space is plenty and in a great layout. What we were truly blown away by was all the little things Julie has laid out and included in each room so that not only is the place setup for any little thing you might need (like a fully setup kitchen with all needed utensils for cooking, grilling, and eating) but also little things that you might forget and are nice to have in a pinch (like toiletries & phone chargers & dry firewood). Julie took the the time at check in to give us a run through of the property and how everything works, and she coordinated with us personally leading up to our stay as well as throughout the duration - even checking in with us each day to make sure everything was going well. I have never had a better experience in terms of coordinating with the host and making herself available to help whenever needed and have never had a more thoughtful host in terms of including all the small little convenient items she keeps the house stocked with. We truly enjoyed our long weekend there and would highly recommend it for any other groups looking for a getaway by the lake.

To say that our stay at Lakeside Cove was idyllic would be an understatement. Our 8-year-old grandson said it was "the number 1 funnest time I ever had hanging out with you guys!" We had some of my husband's relatives over on Saturday and everyone was so impressed with the property. The host, Julie, has thought of everything in the way of "extras." She met us there upon check-in and gave us a very informative tour. I can't say enough about how the property is perfect for all ages. The toy room was greatly enjoyed by the young ones. The game room was a favorite of the kids and the adults loved the darling tiki hut and hanging out on the spacious deck. The hot tub was another hit. We also enjoyed fishing and kayaking. We could not have had a better time and hope we will be able to return someday.

Wonderful. The house had everything we needed, and a lot of things we brought with us ended up being provided! Everywhere there was something to welcome us or assist in our stay. Use was made of the paddle boards and rafts,and the kitchen had everything we needed to make wonderful meals. Overall a wonderful getaway with excellent views!

From the start of the rental process in late 2024 until our trip this past weekend. Our host was absolutely wonderful! The house is at the end of a cute cottage lined road, and the directions provided were spot on!The house was amazing. We picked the property for 2 reasons, it sleeps 14 and was on a lake. The house has every convenience you’d expect, plus more! There is a gym, a kids play area, every yard game you can imagine, and a fully stocked fire pit. There were so many floats for the lake, we had a race across the lake with everyone on their own floatie (10 adults!)The lake is a little weedy, but the owners keep up on the swim area so it is sandy. But if you are a pool person, you will want some swim shoes. Highly recommend for a peaceful relaxing family stay! Oh.. and the squirrel that likes the bird feeder near the door is Ralph.

A fabulous family retreat!

Julie and her family are marvelous hosts and have stocked their home with every imaginable need. The house and amenities are exactly as pictured in the listing. The property is beautifully situated on Saddle Lake. You can't help but have a great time at this place!

One of the top places we’ve stayed. Julie is super host!!! The house was chock full of fun games and different areas to hang out. Lakeside view is incredible and peaceful. Neighbors on either side are out of view. And just 25 min from beaches of Lake Michigan. Hope to come back!!!

Fun Family Weekend

This was the perfect place for our group of 6 adults, a toddler and infant to be together for fun and games, with enough space for private sleeping and quiet time. Upon arrival our 2 1/2 year old grandson made a beeline for the corner beach area and was happy playing with all the toys there all day everyday. We made good use of the paddle boards, kayaks, paddle boat and fishing gear, as well as the yard games. The kitchen had everything this cooking family needed and everywhere we turned there was a basket of essential supplies, from snacks to toiletries to insect repellent to sun screen. The only things we needed to bring were our clothes and groceries. Julie met us when we arrived to show us around this very spacious property and made herself available to answer the couple of questions we had. We would come back.

Perfect Lake Home with Large Backyard

Our family had a wonderful 4th of July stay at this cozy home on the lake. We enjoyed kayaking and outdoor activities galore! We were able to bring our family dog too, which was great! The backyard is amazing, with plenty of room for playing badminton, volleyball, or sunbathing.

Amazing lake front property!

My family and I had the best stay at Julie’s property. We were amazed to find everything we needed at the house - from kitchen supplies, to games, to outdoor equipment. Everything was easy to find and well labeled in the home, not to mention we were met by the host upon arrival for a tour to ensure we were set up for our stay. We enjoyed both the home and the outdoor space at the home so much that we hardly felt the need to leave to explore the surrounding towns. We have already talked about returning again for future family vacations.

Great summer house!

We had an amazing time! This property had everything you could possibly need, except a power boat rental. We ended up renting a boat on Lake Michigan for a day. There were 9 of us and 2 dogs! The property owner (Julie) even had all the things for our dogs that we might need. Everything in the house was labeled, which made it easy to find things and put things away. The hot tub was a great addition even in the hot summer it was relaxing at night. Julie was great to work with! I highly recommend this property!

Lakefront paradise

This vacation rental and Julie both get an A+++++! Julie met me upon checking in to show me around. I was amazed. 3 Fairy gardens for the kids to play with. A huge variety of floaties to play in the lake. Kid sized kayaks, adult kayaks and paddle board and life vests are provided. Surprise baskets everywhere, including a complete smores basket for the firepit. Julie has thought of absolutely everything ....lg. supply of beach towels, relaxing hammock, kid games, adult games, variety of coffees and creamers, comfortable beds. We loved the tiki hut and the sandy beach both with plenty of chairs for all to enjoy. We were a party of 11 aged 4 to gma. There was something for everyone.

Girls Weekend

We had an awesome stay at Lakeside Cove! We celebrated our friends engagement and had plenty of space to do so. We used the kayaks, hung out under the tiki bar, hot tub, and all had plenty of space. Thank you for letting us stay!

Special spots surrounding the house - sand/beach area, fire pit, Tiki Hut, koi pond, fairy gardens, hammock, hot tub and more! It is obvious the owner, Julie, takes great pride in her vacation home! She was such a wonderful person to work with and she was an outstanding communicator! The weekend we spent here will be a special memory for our family!

Wonderful Weekend

Visited the property for a girl’s family weekend. Great accommodations and the host provided everything you would need. The lake was very peaceful and the hot tub very relaxing. Rafts, kayaks and paddle boards were provided for your enjoyment. The Tiki Cove provided a fun atmosphere and the Tiki Toss made it more fun. Looking forward to visiting again.

Great home for large families.

The house is set up beautifully with great spaces to enjoy family time. From the beach on the lake, to the larger setting area in the great room and the open kitchen and dining area, to the game room and the multiple outdoor setting areas, this house is meant for fun. There is so many activities to keep everyone busy. My group really enjoyed our time at Lakeside Cove. Thank you for all the memories we have made at the home.

Home away from home

This host thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. From the 'extras' in case you forgot something like a toothbrush all the way to games, movies, music, and more. My group of 11 all enjoyed being able to use the kayaks, paddle board, and floats. We did bring our dog and the place was set up great for a pet. The property is as advertised, but just note that the '4th bedroom' is really just a big closet with 2 twin beds in it. I easily chose that room because I like it completely dark when I sleep, but my husband wasn't much of a fan. Either way, it would not detract us from staying here again. We liked the location and overall had a wonderful vacation. The sand area was a huge hit with our younger kids and the tiki hut is a great hang out if you want to be outside even when it is raining. Thank you to our host for making it a great stay!

Girls weekend

Lakeside Cove is located on the quiet cove on the lake and is a beautiful place to stay. The home is well appointed with everything you could need. All you need to do is pack your clothes and food! Julie is a great host!
