We have stayed at Sonesta ES Suites Flagstaff several times over the years, but unfortunately the property has gone downhill and we will not be returning.
The hotel feels very old and poorly maintained. The furniture in our room was visibly torn and worn, which made the stay uncomfortable and disappointing. It’s clear that updates and basic upkeep have been neglected.
Customer service was equally disappointing. We dealt with a front desk employee named Mason, who was completely unhelpful and showed no interest in addressing our concerns. There was no effort to resolve issues or offer alternatives, which only added to the frustration.
This used to be a place we were comfortable returning to, but based on this experience, we’ll be opting out in the future. Corporate management really needs to take a close look at this property, as both the condition of the hotel and the level of service are far below expectations.
