«Great location for Golden Circle and other daytrips to surrounding areas. Rather expensive but modern, well kept and with great amenities. Well equipped kitchen. Good sleeping comfort. Spacious sitting area. Well functioning WiFi. We enjoyed our stay a lot and will recommend it to our friends. »

«This was our accommodation for the third day of our third trip to Iceland. Everything was exactly as described—if anything, it was even better than expected. We could truly feel how much care and attention the owner had put into creating this place. The view was wonderful, parking was convenient, and the accommodation was warm and comfortable. The only thing we were disappointed about was not having the chance to meet the dogs. :)»

«Very cozy cabin with scenic view. Has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We slept very well on the comfortable bed. The horses in the pasture were amazing. If any questions or anything is needed, host is very responsive and helps quickly. Thank you for the stay!»

«Unresponsive host. Has to reach out to Expedia so we can get an access code to enter the property. The key are in a lockbox and make sure you will get the lockbox code prior to coming to the property. The house is okay to spend a night. WiFi is good.»

«I cannot recommend this property enough! We visited for 8 days in late June/early July 2026, and the view from the wrap-around glass patio was breathtaking every single day, morning and evening. Because of the shape of the valley, we would routinely see completely different weather patterns West, North, and East. Maybe it was snowing on the mountain across the lake, raining at the property, and sunny out West... all at the same time!It's only a 25-30min drive West to Akranes to pick up groceries ...

«This was a great place to stay. We had our family, 10 of us, and we all enjoyed ourselves. Out of 5 places we stayed this was the kids favorite. Plenty of room and great hot tub. We found everything that we needed for our stay from all kitchen items to fans. I am a very picky sleeper. Normally on vacation I don't sleep well and usually can't wait to get in my own bed. Not here. I slept like a baby. I even pulled up the bedding to see if I could see the mattress brand incase it is possible to get ...
