Absolutely wonderful stay! The property and the house are beautiful with an amazing pool and spa. The hosts are very welcoming and communicative. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location for a country getaway. The house is private and the pool is lovely. Hosts are very nice. It was a pleasure to spend time on their ranch and enjoy getting away from city life!

Shawn and Bruce couldn’t have been more welcoming! Our stay was fabulous and they are such wonderful people that it made it even better! The house was so very cozy and such a beautiful setting! Thank you for being such wonderful hosts!

Shawn and Bruce were amazing hosts! They have thought about everything with this rental! Often times rentals are not equipped with things like extra trash bags, extra toilet paper, or other basics…they had it all ready to go! This was the perfect place for my family to gather and enjoy some much needed time away from the hustle and bustle!

This was a favorite spot for us. It’s a beautiful property with the most quaint farmhouse to stay in. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and was a dream to have in the Texas heat. It’s well shaded and beautifully set up. The hosts are the kindest, attentive and responsive we’ve ever experienced. We left there after a week feeling like they were family. I would recommend this for anyone looking to not be in the hustle and bustle of the busy surrounding cities. The sunsets are amazing to witness and taking a walk down the gravel drive and hearing all the different birds was such an experience. There are wild bunnies and a pair of cardinals that live right around the farmhouse and you will witness them throughout the day. We can’t wait to go back and visit Shawn and Bruce and farmhouse!

Quaint farmhouse getaway

We enjoyed our time here near Cleburne. The weather kept us from pool time everyday, but it is a beautiful setting with hot tub and waterfall. The farmhouse is surrounded by pretty landscaping. Plenty of thoughtful amenities make it feel warm and welcoming. It is an old house, which is part of the charm. The decor keeps it whimsical while having all the modern conveniences.

Wildrose Farmhouse was the perfect setting for our Board of Directors team building and strategic planning retreat! We enjoyed sitting on the porches and enjoying our coffee in the mornings, watching the wildlife (rabbits & hummingbirds), and getting to love on the dogs, especially Ruckus and Maggie Mae.The pool, hot tub, and Sonic ice maker were huge hits. Shawn set up an extra table and chairs in the dining room to make sure our group of eight could all eat meals together, moved furniture so we would have plenty of space, and even pulled out and made up the sofa bed before we arrived since we would need all beds.Finally, Shawn was fantastic at answering the probably three dozen questions I sent her leading up to our trip. It was a fantastic weekend, and I would definitely return to the farmhouse!
