ON THE ROCKS is the place to be!!! A new spacious cabin & fully stocked!

On the Rocks is the perfect spot to gather with family & friends to experience the ultimate escape to our newest property nestled along the Caddo River in Glenwood, AR. On The Rocks (aka: OTR) is a beautifully constructed 2200sq ft. cabin that accommodates sleeping for 16 guest! This property has River Access & is literally just steps away from the Caddo River. ALSO - OTR is located in a safe area within a gated community. OTR is located about 1 mile from the end of the traditional Caddo River Float. So if you dont want to spend your day floating... NO WORRIES... We have several areas that are perfect for guest to hang out in the water with river chairs and engage with those floating bye.

OTR is a single story cabin that sleeps 16. The cabin has an open floor plan where the spacious kitchen and cozy living room offer the perfect setting for families and friends! OTR offers guest 4 King Bedrooms with custom built beds. Each King Bedroom is accompanied with a bathroom inside each room for guest convenience.
Bunk Rooms are located on each side of the cabin between King Bedrooms. Bunk Room will be accessed through a farm door, just off the living room.

On The Rocks Cabin is elevated cabin, that offers parking underneath with lighting, 2 staircases guest can access the property through 1 of the 2 sets of double doors just off the porch. The double doors open into the living room, kitchen & dining area; as you will see, OTR's floor plan was designed to give guest an “airy light” feeling. The living room is perfect for lounging in front of the fireplace while playing games or enjoying time with your loved ones. The spacious kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to show off your kitchen skills; as we strive to give guest the “ Home Away From Home” vibe.

Everyone can gather around the 10ft island with Cortez Bar-Top & Bar-stools!
This space is ideal for guest to gather as meals are being prepared and/or playing games. The kitchen is equipped with an Electric Cook-Top, Oven, Refrigerator & Freezer, Dishwasher & Washer & Dryer (located in utility room); All appliances are stainless steel appliances.

We also have both a Keurig, as well as a drip coffee maker with filters located in cabinet. We will provide guest with a starter packet of pods, just in case you forgot coffee. We also have for your convenience crock pots, a full set of pots and pans, serving dishes, place settings, silverware as well as steak knives to accommodate 16 guest. Our goal is to provide guest with the ultimate kitchen by assuring guest, that all supplies, utensils, cookware, serving ware, etc are all located on the property for guest to easily and effortlessly prepare meals; as they would at home!!!

The cabin is decorated beautifully, as we strive to provide guest with an unforgettable stay! All Linens are provided during your stay. All our properties are stocked with River Chairs, Linens, Beach Towels, Serving ware, Cookware, utensils and SO MUCH MORE....

Comfortable, Cozy family style vacation

Our family, infant to grandfather, had a relaxing stay in your VRBO home. The large common area allowed our children freedom to run and play without concern for their safety. Everything was just as described, and check-in/check-out was easy. Thanks for a comfortable vacation.

We graduated from a small private school in N LA. The guys in our class get together for an annual float trip. This was our 20th year doing so. Everyone agreed this was our best layout and most comfortable trip. We really enjoyed our time at this lodge. The cabin was in great condition and well stocked.

Loved the separate bathrooms

We were there for a week and the house was great! We really appreciated that each main bedroom had a king bed and its own bathroom! We had a little miscommunication about the gate code & WiFi but the owners were super responsive and all was remedied right away. The neighborhood was quiet and location was lovely. It’s not far from the diamond and crystal mines or Hot Springs. We didn’t cook much while there but if you wanted to, it’s well supplied with most everything you’d need. We would definitely go back again!

Fantastic!

Great location for diamond digging, Lake Greeson, Hot Springs, Botanical Gardens. Sits near Caddo River. Great fun was had fishing and tubing. Large area for bonfires in the area between cabin and river. We had two houses and they were a quick walk between the two. Are thinking we need a repeat reunion here. House was spacious and well maintained!

Perfect weekend getaway

This is our second year to stay in this community. On the Rocks was perfect for our weekend trip to kayak the Caddo River. It was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Highly recommended!!

Family Reunion July 4

We needed a location to sleep 6 plus and came across this listing which allowed us to have so much more pace and ambiance than just getting three hotel rooms. We were able to invite more extended family to sleepover which made it feasible for them to attend the reunion and not be driving an hour or two each way for the festivities. We had so much space our VRBO became the meeting place for a pre-union gathering and cookout! The pit group seating with an extra long dining room table and bar seating for an additional 6 made the conversations carry on through the evenings and we loved coffee on the patio in the outdoor furniture grouping. The property was exactly as posted with excellent photos that allowed us to picture how well it would fit our needs. The kitchen was fully outfitted and all our consumables were provided (shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, paper towels, dish washer detergent and dish soap. There was a kreidig coffee pot, a regular coffee maker, a toaster, blender, crock pot, and all dish ware and cookware. The pellet grill was new to us but worked like a charm and the beds were extremely comfortable! We had trouble with the freezer not cooling nor producing ice, but the host was very responsive and we made do with ice chests we had brought in and bagged ice. The hosts made it so easy, we only had to adjust thermostats and take out trash when we left. We will be back!

6th Annual Caddo River Trip

Christmas Gathering 2022

Our family gathered from TN, TX and OK to celebrate Christmas. The house was great, beds for everyone, bathrooms a plenty, spacious open area for watching TV, playing games and opening Christmas presents. There was a lovely Christmas tree and other festive ornaments that decorated the house for Christmas. The kitchen was well furnished with cooking items, plenty of dishes and the appliances all worked well. We played Corn Hole, took walks in the neighborhood, and boosted the local economy my shopping in Glenwood. Chad and Amanda Miot owners of Slingerz & Shooterz Axe Throwing and Pool opened for our group to spend a wonderful evening of fun. Christmas 2022 in Glenwood, AR provided many wonderful memories for our family.

Week at Glenwood Ark.

Plenty of space to spread out. Kitchen well stocked with cooking items. Next time I will wait and buy items needed in town, Wrights store is very convenient and well stocked. Grill down stairs used pellets, first experience using one. Our Nephew used it last year and and was happy to use it again this year. All room very comfortable, air conditioning works great, I was usually cold so going outdoors warmed me up.

Everything was Perfect! We loved our stay here. The River was an easy walk to and the house was amazing from the kitchen to the comfy beds!!! It’s all that and more if you’re looking for a place to hang out or stay in the River!!! We’ll definitely be back!

My family and friends had an amazing stay at this beautiful property! The pictures doesn’t do justice. Gorgeous place!! Everyone was in awe as soon as we walked in! Of all the properties we have rented, this is by far the best one we stayed in. Very highly recommended!

Great house in a great location

This is a new house with plenty of space for the whole family. It was so nice that everyone had their own bedroom. We came to Arkansas to do some diamond hunting and quartz mining and this location was the perfect spot to be within reasonable driving distance of everything that we wanted to do. We really appreciated having the camping chairs available for use during our stay. Just fyi, the house is in a dry county so try to plan ahead if you want wine/beer/liquor during your stay or you will be driving 14 miles to Amity (at night in our case). We would love to stay here again if we are ever in the Glenwood area again.

Great Christmas Getaway

This weekend was everything that my family and I needed. We have a large family and recently experienced a very tragic loss. The space allowed us to bring our family of 13 together from various corners of the state and celebrate together. It was an amazing stay.
