«Guess I wasn't prepared for what I was to find while visiting. Perhaps it was because we had all just survived a long, hot Texas summer. However, the tranquility and beauty were healing to the soul. I kept thinking, "how did I not know of this place before". I'm not even sure I want to share it with friends as I never want it to change. Thank you to the family/team whom make this oasis so special. It truly is a site for sore eyes. Peace in the valley does exist.»

I was able to extend checkout for an extra hour which was very helpful, as my granddaughter was able to ride the pony again. We participated in multiple activities such as Tomahawk and Archery; the attendants were helpful and provided positive feedback. The pool was chilly, but doable for children. «This trip was a multi-family yearly vacation with 6 adults and 5 kids under 10. We visited the Dino world and the fossils at the state park and played in the river. The house fit everyone perfectly. We spent every evening on the front porch watching for deer. The kids played in the pool every chance they could. The pool was knee high for an adult and perfect height for the kids. We had 2 under 2 and they were able to play in the pool with daddy's help. The host was amazing they met us at ...

«This rental is outstanding. The pictures do not do your experience at this place justice. The home is unique, the scenery is incredible, the trails are endless, and the host was fantastic. Highly recommend!»
