部屋やシャワーは少し狭めなので、滞在目的によっては不十分に感じられるかも。とはいえ、ホテルでゆっくり過ごすことを重視する等でなければ十分。トイレやシャワーに不具合はなく、ベッドも快適。何より、レセプション、ダイニング・バー、清掃、いずれもスタッフが非常に親切で、不便や不安なく滞在できる。周辺は安全で便利。

Good value hotel close to Gent centre.
Close to the centre of Gent with a tram stop directly outside to take you to the train station, or a 20 minute walk. Beds comfy, rooms clean and warm ,shower hot, good for the price. Cafés nearby if going out for breakfast. Other guests were noisy late one evening but this was quickly resolved by the night staff. The walls are a little thin. I have stayed here before some years ago and would stay again.

Overall ok for a couple of nights. Concerns of carpeted floor, washable would be better. Bed topper & mattress continually moved, needs individual joined mattress to stop feeling other occupants movements. No drawer space at all & just open shelves with only 5 hangers in open rack. No bedside table on one side. Tiniest shower room ever seen with high step up to shower cubicle. Lots of mosquito bodies on ceilings etc. Not well sound insulated, can hear conversations in corridor etc.

Die Straßenbahnhaltestelle war gleich vor der Tür. Das war natürlich praktisch, aber deswegen war es nachts ziemlich laut. Die Bahn fährt ca. alle 7-10 min. Bei offenem Fenster konnte man nicht schlafen. Service war gut, frisches Obst beim Frühstück, leckere Brotsorten

I stayed at this hotel to attend a conference at Ghent University. The room was not very spacious, but I had no problem working on my computer and sleeping in my room. A refrigerator would have been very helpful, but there are many supermarkets and restaurants around the hotel, so it was not so much of a problem. The hotel is conveniently located, but the surroundings are not too noisy, and the hotel is safe and secure even at night. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, not only the reception but also the cleaning staff, kitchen staff and bar staff. I have been to several European cities for work, including Amsterdam, Leiden, Genoa, Berlin, and Poznan, but I have never stayed in a hotel where all the staff were so excellent. I will definitely return here on my next visit to Ghent.
