  • The Wheelhouse Inn on Kent Street welcomes visitors to its newly renovated suites in Georgetown, Prince Edward Island.

    Located directly across from The Kings Playhouse, this five unit Inn offers guests the option of a one bedroom or studio style suite. All suites feature beautiful cathedral ceilings, a private entrance, deck access, and brand new appliances.

    We are located 650 meters from The Wheelhouse in Georgetown restaurant and under 7kms to The Brudenell and Dundarave golf courses.

Very quiet, felt very secure. Great location in Georgetown, with beautiful park, beach and two small boat launches -- all easy walking distance. (One minor detail - you need to bring your own shampoo and shower soap.)

The kitchen was fine. The bedroom was a bit too warm as the minisplit did not cool it. The Netflix could not be used as the stream was full. Prime needed an account. I could not find my favorite CNN favorite channel.

Quaint peaceful village

We enjoyed our 5 nights in this well appointed unit. The village is very quaint and beautiful with a couple of good restaurants, a lovely boardwalk, a nice ocean side park and a stunning public garden.

Beautiful place, clean, refined, spacious, conveniently located, but very few accessories for a week stay, we had to buy quite a few things like toilet paper, dish soap, cloths and although the furniture is clean and modern, it is cheap.

Thank you for the excellent conditions and prompt accommodation! We felt very welcomed and truly appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail. Just a small suggestion: the bed might benefit from a quick check, as it tends to squeak slightly with movement.Highly recommended!

Great and quiet place

Lovely Property in Georgetown

The Wheelhouse Inn was a lovely stay in Georgetown. Great location, within walking distance of everything in town (The Kings Playhouse is just across the street, and the local general store is just a minute away). New property, modern, comfortable, with all the amenities, and Terry was super responsive to any questions I had. Highly recommended for anyone staying in the area.

Beautiful accommodations. Very clean, comfortable and everything you need. It is quiet, nice to have a patio to sit on and all amenities if you want to do your own cooking. The only thing missing was shampoo and bath soap which is no big deal, just bring your own. Definitely our new go to. Thanks Terry.

Everything you could want...almost

Nice little "apartment" with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Only thing missing is a blind or something similar for the door. That would provide a bit more privacy.

We have stayed here before and will stay again! You cannot beat the price for what you get. Perfect for a couple's get-away. Interior appears brand new! Fixtures are beautiful. Lots of space to enjoy youself. They supplied lots of toilet paper and there was hand soap for washroom, dish soap, paper towel, bath and hand towels. This unit is across the street from the longest running theater in Canada- the historic King's County Courthouse, built in 1887, and the very beautiful and unassuming, A.A. Memorial Gardens (3.8 acres of beauty!), 6 kilometers from one of the top 50 golf courses in Canada, and down the street from the best mackerel fishing wharf in PEI. Directly behind this unit are tennis courts, pickleball and a dirt walking track. Georgetown boasts two amazing restaurants ( one has a deck overlooking the river), a bakery, homemade jewelry shop, deep sea fishing charters, a public library, access to the Confederation Trail and kayak rentals (not available online). There is also horse back riding 8 minutes away and the Town of Montague is only 15 minutes. To make your stay more meaningful it is worth the time to take a brief look at the history of Georgetown and the historic structures that still stand.

Overall the inside of the property was clean and spacious for 2. Our concern was with the outside of the property. Could have used a bit more cleaning around window trims and doorways, there were plenty of spider webs visible. Hopefully if that gets taken care of the property would be a more ideal place to stay.
