The staff provided outstanding service, going above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Even when the hotel was fully booked, they creatively found a way to accommodate an extra night’s stay. Additionally, the service team catered excellently to my restrictive diet, crafting delicious meal options. A special thank you to: • Abina at the front desk • Servers David and Charleen • The security staff member (a polite, shorter, older man with a bald head) who assisted me in getting great food despite my late arrival. This was an awwsome experience at Grand Coastal. As someone who frequently visited and never thought about staying at a hotel, this was such a nice surprise. The hotel had amazing food, great staff and cleaning service, and a small, but really nice pool, that is good for kids to cool down. I cant say enough how this was a perfect alternative to super expensive hotels that are permeating the country. Notably, this hotel is on east coast and not central Georgetown. However, its about a 10 minute drive and for me, it was perfect. There is some noise from the highway, but its not something I would say is a deterrent. The only negative here is the prices of taxi service. The hotel uses their own service and they have a huge markup compared to other services. Getting around Guyana requires using taxis, so just be mindful. Again though, it was an excellent hotel stay. Thanks to the staff for all their help!

We are on the east coast, not in central Georgetown, but we believe our location offers a calm getaway while being handy to the city core.We appreciate your feedback about highway noise and are glad it did not negatively effect your visit. We will keep looking for ways to reduce guest exposure to noise.We regret the rising cab prices. We use a reliable cab service to deliver our guests safely. I hope they will improve, lots of missed opportunities to make this stay comfortable. -Lack there of pool side towel service, my family of 4 decided to use the pool, and was given only 2 towels, we were told there was only 2 available at that time, but we were the only ones using the pool all day that day. - poor AC Quality - tv wasn’t working, every time it was turned off you need tech support to come and get the ‘antenna/ cable’ back into working order. - again family of 4 was only given 2 towels everytime they refreshed the rooms. - the idea of not having water in the bathroom from 12am-1am is not a good choice of timing…. Very inconvenient having to wait to take a shower at that time, especially since we were coming back late from our events . Perhaps choose a later time in the day to do this service ?? … At the time of my stay, they were undergoing renovations, I hope they make proper repairs and improvements to better the stay for future guests . … the only good thing about this stay was the friendly staff.

Layout of room needs improvement. Insufficient lighting. Needs more closet space. Only 2 clothes hangers. Living off suit cases. No luggage racks available. No convienent stores in the immediate area, so you are at the mercy of the hotel for food which was mediocre at best. Pool is smack in front of dining area through which you have to pass to go to and from your room. Nonetheless my stay was a pleasant experience. Thanks to an amazing support staff. Microwave ovens are dirt cheap, so there is no reason why every room cannot be equipped with one.

We have placed obvious signs around the hotel to inform our guests about these improvements.Regarding the lighting in your room, we have equipped each room with four recessed lights, 2 table lamps, bathroom lights, an art light, and a table lamp. We believe this provides sufficient lighting for our guests' needs.We understand your concerns about the closet space and the limited number of hangers provided. To optimize space in our rooms, we have implemented a system where guests can request additional amenities, such as extra hangers or luggage racks. This is a common practice in many hotels today. It is communicated clearly with a sign in the bedroom.The location of our pool near the bar and dining area is by design, as it is meant to create a pleasant ambiance for our guests. As a boutique hotel, we strive to create a unique atmosphere that distinguishes us from other properties.We disagree with your statement about the lack of convenience stores in the immediate area. A Massy Mini Mart is located just 3 minutes from the hotel, and a Massy Supermarket is just 10 minutes away.Regarding our food options, we take pride in our culinary offerings, which are well-renowned in Guyana.Lastly, we are delighted to hear that despite your issues, your stay was a pleasant experience, thanks to our fantastic support staff. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish excellent service. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I'll liked to thank Tanish,Abina at reception very pleasant always smiles and very attentive doing a great job. Also to the restaurant staff waitresses Tracy and Cheryl they made dinning a pleasant and wonderful experience. Thanks you all for your great hospitality. Checkin time was firm. I arrived 2 hrs early due to flight times and was told room would not be ready till 4pm. Restaurant good except I order a starter (taster) clearly fir just myself, when arrived it could have fed 4 people. Waste of food. But the food was v good.

Everyone was nice. Checkin was easy. We were on the second floor and no elevator. Would love to see accommodations for the disabled. Tamika at the bar made great drinks. Checkout was easy at 1am and Romel our driver took care us as he took us back to the airport. I'm sure the renovations they have planned will elevate the hotel.

Noce place clean secure service was good Thia room was for my girlfriend she said they kept calling her room not letting her sleep. Also, i wanted to pay by card they had on file, i authorized it but they kept tellling me fill out a form, while im on the rd traveling myself asking me to fill out a form on my damn phone. This is no service to make a clients life difficult especially for a lousy $28 bucks. All in all place qas good, they gqve us 3 hours later checkout i thought it was nice of them

We're glad you found our establishment clean, secure, and generally satisfactory and that the late checkout was a positive aspect of your stay.Regarding the payment issue. Our policy requires a completed credit card authorization form for security purposes. An incomplete form voids our bank chargeback and card services agreement protocols. This is a standard procedure to protect our guests and their financial information. The form you submitted was left empty with just a signature, and we needed help to get ahold of you to complete it promptly to allow a smooth check-in.
