«Wife and I wanted to get away for a quick trip to take our dog hiking and see the Harry Potter thing they had in Bastrop. This place was a great, easy location for trails and coffee shops around. Nice driveway to use and the bedding was very comfortable! »

«The place is small and the deck was great overlooking the lake, but only accessible thru the bedroom which was only accessible by a small spiral stairwell. We could not get our suitcases up the stairwell which was too tight. There is great outdoor space, but we went in the winter and it was too cold to enjoy it all. Bed linens were great but towels were small and too few. »

«We’ll start with the positives: owner was responsive to questions and concerns; location was a short walk to The Island where we could watch the sunset over the water. Beyond that it was, sadly, a disappointment. The front yard/entry was overgrown so the entry path wasn’t useable. The house itself is dated and shows obvious wear, and hadn’t been used in a while. There were clumps of dust in the corners, burrs in the carpet, old, mismatched, dirty dishes & glasses and so much mold in the master ...

«Donna was very communicative and helpful! We had some confusion with which dock was theirs since there was 2 straight on from the property. Other than that it was a very fun place to stay!»
