A pretty impressive building but very dated. Nothing nearby so transport essential. I stayed at the weekend and was one of a handful of guests. No obvious sign of management.

Comfortable overnight stay
The hotel met our expectations. With Marriott-Protea hotels you know what to expect and in this case this establishment never disappointed, they stuck to their standard service offering, which was very pleasing . It was just an overnight stay for us, but we were so comfortable. Keep it up!

Pleasant stay
The hotel is situated adjacent to a golf course in a quiet location with lovely mountain views. Family rooms are comfortable and on-site parking is convenient. The bathrooms do need some maintenance though. Good value hotel in George.

I booked a family suite The room we were put in was a interleading room but it was so dated and smelly. I felt that I paid more for a suite but did not get what I booked. Staff was very friendly

Dated establishment and poor service
Service lacks all around. Rooms are not well serviced. Rooms are a bit dated. Booked a suite but looked extremely disappointing in comparison to other suites in same category. Okay for a night stop over.

Well located with good access to N2 and also handy for local restaurants and for trips to Cango Caves, for example. Unfortunately,, the bathrooms in the annexe bedrooms did not appear to gave mechanical extraction and became very damp in damo weather conditions.

One night stay
We stayed over for one night and i was very happy with my air conditioning room, comfy double beds and professional staff. Kids enjoyed the option of two Swimming pools. Hotel feels safe and secure with beautiful surroundings.

Hotel is good & well maintained. Staff needs to improve in providing better services to its customers. Our flight was at 4.30 PM & we wanted an extended stay till 1.00 PM. But was denied. We wanted to have our lunch at the hotel before proceeding to the Airport. It was also refused. I was really surprised. This is how your treat your guest. Next we asked your front desk to book a taxi for us, they arranged it for R 1900 for 4 hrs whereas the price was only R 450. At the end we had to arrange on our own through some site at R 450. Your staff at the desk is not at all friendly.

Was a great stay. Unit needs a little updating as moisture is starting to settle in the walls. Comfortable stay though and a great kiddies area.

Asked to Pay Again Upon Checkin?
One comment is to sort out interation into hotels .com or to train staff propery on checking in hotel.com guests as my guests upon arival where asked to pay for the stay when it had in fact already been paid for in full. Very irritating and embarrasing as i now had to also forward my receipt to my guest (family) who saw how much i had paid for the stay. Not at all what i wanted.
