Med fire soverom og et og et halvt bad, vil dette vakre hjemmet ha deg som ønsker å komme tilbake igjen og igjen. Hvis veggene kunne snakke, kunne denne staselige hjem trolig skrive en serie romaner! Til forskjell fra ethvert hjem i området, minner Pacific Way Villa om et landemerke Hollywood-hjem hvor Audrey Hepburn, Clark Gable eller Humphrey Bogart kanskje en gang har bodd.

    Rett innenfor dobbel dør oppføring, vil du finne deg selv i din egen bortgjemte villa. En veldig unik interiør lover herlige overraskelser rundt hvert hjørne. Old style håndverk og intrikate detaljer kan bli funnet i hele dette feriehuset. Hovednivået har tilgang til den store verandaen med utsikt over hagen som er profesjonelt vedlikeholdt. Den lavere nivå har tilgang til hagen også, og et stort åpent oppholdsområde å slappe av og kanskje nyte spilleren piano. Kom og bo på Pacific Way Villa i dag!

The house is spacious, the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the downstairs TV room. We especially enjoyed the beautiful patio and the beautiful garden. It’s a very old house so there are some quirks. The windows don’t open in many of the rooms and the ones that do you have to put something in them to keep them open. Other than, we thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay.

proximity to the coast the estuary and town is just priceless. We loved the place and the history of its original owners. The only thing i would recommend is adding more forks and a coffee grinder. Such a great weekend in this fun spot!

We showed up and the entry was fairly simple; but when we got there and started putting our food away we realized that sugar had been left in the cabinet and there had been ants crawling all around the cubbies. The other thing was that the trash hadn’t been taken by the valet service that they claimed would take it but it still hadn’t been taken from the people before us or the 4 days we stayed there. The house is an incredibly large build and the grounds were nice and maintained but the upstairs shower was small and every room felt a bit cramped. Would recommend for 4-5 people to stay but not 6

This villa is very spacious. Location is perfect. It does need updating. None of the bedroom windows open downstairs so forget listening to the ocean. The home does smell musty. Overall it certainly met our needs.

Great spot!

This beach house is in an amazing location! You can’t beat the short walk to the beach or to downtown Gearhart. We really enjoyed our stay. Things could use some updating or maintained. We didn’t find any hairdryers or the iron didn’t work, which are important things when you’re visiting for a wedding. Once those little details would be fixed, we’d totally come back.

Gatsby-esque comfort

This property is absolutely beautiful; for a 100 year old home on the coast it's stunning. It both smelled and appeared clean. All linens and upholstery were in good condition. I do wish the patio had been open, but it was a chilly weekend and I still enjoyed a nice stroll through the garden.

So sad all around. I'll be brief because if you read other reviews you'll see these things have been problems for years but the host has not taken any action. Kitchen dirty- check all plates, cups, pans before use. Chances are not clean. Ant infestation- enough saidAmenities not correct- no bath tub. 2 showers. 1 (upstairs) suitable for children onlyBeds- squeaky rickety frames with bowing mattresses. Most windows don't open. No screens. Front door- very tiny deadbolt securing it and for must remain dead bolted to stay shut. Outdoor furniture dirty and unusable because cushions are left out in the elements. Contacted the host.... lots of promises to fix things but then saw the other reviews (went deeper than when I originally booked) with same issues. Only offered compensation was 10% of next stay which as you can imagine won't be happening.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. This is a cool house; the family agrees. It was built in 1912, reminded me of the movie Sunset Boulevard so old and it show it in places. Part of the charm. One reviewer noted a musty smell. All old beach houses in Oregon are musty and one step ahead of the decay. Also part of the charm. Great location, wonderful yard. Want to go back

Great location w/huge outdoor deck.

What a fascinating house in perfect location for easy access to everything in Gearhart. One of our guests lived in the house for a short time many years ago and knew all its history. Fun piano downstairs. Kitchen needs a few more standard supplies but we did fine. Thanks!

Not a clean house

The floors were dirty and furniture throughout were dirty, carpet upstairs had stains outside the bedroom, deck had weeds and lots of dead leaves, a dirty refrigerator, a large frying pan with eggs cooked on left in the cupboard, garbage left in house with food waste including watermelon and spiders around outside.

Advertised features not available/inaccurate. Fireplace didn't work. No off street parking, sidewalk missing (had to navigate broken ground). Owners had outdoor construction scheduled in the morning during our stay, did not inform us and failed to respond when asked about it. Beds were 3 full and 1 queen (not 3 queens as listed). Beds ranged from OK to poor. Many dished were dirty, disorganized and there were only 3 forks in the kitchen. Interior was mostly clean, but a bit shabby (ad photos were misrepresentative). Whole house smelled musty. Multiple minor maintenance issues (many light bulbs burnt out). Pluses, great location, good water pressure-plenty of hot water. Central heating was good. Main floor bath was very nice. Upstairs was OK, but small. Yard and balcony would be very nice in good weather.

Beautiful home very spacious, kitchen was well equipped . The beach is walking distance which my family loved .There was ants in the kitchen around the stove and dishwasher.During this rain storm one of the kitchen windows had a leak into the kitchen and the other window almost fell off, as it was only being held by a couple of Nails screws, and there was a gap where the wind was blowing in.I would have really liked à heads up on about the driveway . The listing specifies that there’s only parking available in the driveway with no parking on the street. Saturday morning there was a storm and our Suv got stuck in the driveway which happened to be grass /no gravel and downhill. We called the property rental and the person that answered the phone was not very helpful. She was very condescending and actually laughed at the situation that our vehicle was stuck, and said they were not responsible to provide any of that information or assistance with getting our vehicle out of the driveway. Which she then said we would have to call a tow truck which we did it cost us 200 to get our vehicle out of the driveway,mind you we lost all morning of activities that we had planned with our family.

Just wasn’t up to par

Honestly I was quite disappointed with the lack of overall upkeep on the home. Being a 100+ year old home isn’t much of an excuse to be poorly maintained. The roughest part of the stay was the overwhelming musty smell throughout the home as though it hadn’t been aired out all year. After the price of one night plus adding in the almost $450 in fees we were expecting a little more comfort and upkeep.

misleading/fraudulent property description

The listing tripled the nightly rate for the holiday weekend which is standard, but they misrepresented the number of bedrooms as 5 when it is only four. It also noted a sofa bed which it does not provide. Drilling into the reviews a guest noticed this misrepresentation earlier and was told it would be rectified. It wasn't. We did not have the privacy for our group that we had contracted for - we were only (7) to our party but we needed that fifth bedroom and the sofa bed for privacy, and that is what we were expecting.

Family reunion

The house is dated but very nice. It has a few issues due to its age. There is quite a draft from the windows upstairs. The sofa in the living room did not make into a bed as indicated in the listing, so one of our family members had to sleep on the couch. Also, there are no extra blankets for the sofa bed, or for any of the bedrooms. Thankfully we brought blankets and pillows with us. There was a shortage of spoons and no baking dishes in the kitchen which was a little inconvenient. The front door did not stay closed, due to wind, unless it was locked. None the less, we enjoyed our stay,

Believe the negative reviews

This house has been remuddled over the years, which is OK if other things had been tended to. The house smells very musty. Reviews over the years mention that the fireplace didn't work. It still doesn't. None of the doors or windows fit correctly, have no screens, and most of the windows have locks that don't work. The front door is a security concern. The windows are very dirty, but they can't match the lack of cleanliness in the kitchen. The cupboards inside and out are greasy and dusty, and the cooking supplies are completely disorganized. There's a nice selection of videos but no video player. The instruction manual is inaccurate and incomplete. In the new bathroom, there's no shower caddy so no place to put shampoo, etc. There are very few hangers in the bedrooms, no hair dryers, no throws in the living room.We were sent the wrong code to open the lock box to get the key. You'd think with all that needs to be done on this place, they'd go out of their way to provide some amenities, but all the supplies, like toilet paper and paper towels, are the cheapest available. We bought softer TP. The owner fee is higher than most so it's hard to see what they're spending it on. The balcony is full of weeds, and it was having structural work done on it so we couldn't use it. There's lots of work needed on the outside of the house. On the positive side, the heat works very well. The yard is beautiful and very inviting. Our advice is to believe all the negative reviews.

Wish i would have paid attention to the negative reviews. doors don't shut or lock properly. water is not the hot. wasn't that clean. fireplace did not work and there is no washer or dyer as listed in the listing.
