Great Cabin!

The kids loved the tree house and playground. We wished it was a little closer to other activities, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. We will definitely rent this cabin again.

The house is beautiful, with spacious and inviting outdoor patio areas that were perfect for relaxing and spending time together. We did have a few issues that made things a bit uncomfortable and decided to leave a little early, but management was very attentive and quick to respond, which we truly appreciated. Despite the hiccups, the property and service were both excellent overall—and I would definitely consider renting here again.

Best Cabin Ever for Large Families

The owners thought of everything for kids and large families, right down to the toaster. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the rooms all of blackout curtains. The variety of games kept the kids busy all day, and the outdoor space is perfect for hosting an outdoor cookout if you want to invite some friends over.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The three level back porches are great, we spent a lot of time there. Good shade so you aren’t in the direct hot sun. We played a lot of pool on the porch pool table. Views are amazing and you can see the mountains ‘smoke’ when it’s rainy or cooler. Some bears around, but they were not trying to get in cars or trash. Best movie room we’ve had at a cabin. Game room fun, lots of video game options. You are 35 min from Sugarland Visitor Center and 45 min from Dollywood, 1 hour and 30 min from Cades Cove. Food City about 20 min away. Cosby entrance about 20 min. Lots of bugs and they do get in the house. You need to communicate with Elk Springs through e-mail. They answered quickly to the issues we had. There is a driveway to another cabin that is close behind this cabin, so people will drive back and forth, but you can’t really see the other cabin. The driveway wasn’t too steep for the Smoky Mountain area, but it is gravel. They also had motion sensing lights on the driveway for night. We had a great stay here and would stay again.

Grand View - Yep!!!

The description and pictures of the listing are 100% accurate. We were lucky enough to hit the fall colors during their peak, and can’t begin to describe the views from the decks, other than saying that this place is in the perfect spot. The house is in a remote area but only takes about 15 minutes to get to Gatlinburg. We would highly recommend Grandview, and wouldn’t even consider a different place if (when) we go back to the Smoky Mountains.

The only hiccup we had was the hot water in the basement wasn't working and it took two days for the maintenance person to fix it. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time and the cabin was clean.

Fall Gatlinburg Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The driveway to the rental is narrow so drive careful as you go up. There were a couple pull offs when needed if someone is coming the opposite direction. The house is nice and you have what you need in the kitchen. The cabin has a lot of extras and we enjoyed using the pool table, outside firepit, game area and movie room. The furniture is a mix and the decorations are in a cabin style but a touch of modern. We did see bear while there and they kept their distance. The cabin does need a good cleaning but keep in mind that there is a limited time between rentals. The view is spectacular with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. I would rent this cabin again. Our stay here brought lots of fun times and wonderful family memories.

Very clean and comfortable for our family of 4. My only two complaints are the lack of hot water (for more than 5 minutes) and very low water pressure in the showers. The owners should also consider either a peloton or a treadmill to give guests an easy way to exercise while staying. Otherwise, amazing property with beautiful views.

Our parents have never been to Gatlinburg and we wanted to give them the Mountain experience. The cabin was perfect for what we wanted it for. Although there is a build right beside the cabin and the workers would fill there water tank from the house which caused water pressure down. Everything was perfect. My daughter and I enjoyed the hot tub every night of our stay. Cabin was clean and everything was in order.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fantastic cabin. Every time I rent from Elk Springs they never disappoint. Always promt to respond to emails and very helpful. We were on motorcycles and a storm came in just before check out time. They were very understanding that we needed an extra half hour due to the rain. The cleaning staff showed up and was also understanding while she waited. Every cabin I have rented has always been so clean and the views are great. Thank you again Elk Spring, see you in the future.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin has spectacular views of the SMNP with peace and quiet. The cabin was well stocked with dishes, utensils, and amenities. The cabin was mostly clean with the exception of lady and stink bugs in the upper bedroom/ bathroom. Many Bugs were on the bed, floor, in drawers, on window sills. Thankfully we brought a vacuum that cleaned up most of the bugs. Also, the second day we noticed an intermittent sewer smell that appeared to come from the basement area, but was not able to find the source of the smell.
