Enjoy a spacious and inviting Bear Lake retreat designed for large groups seeking comfort, convenience and relaxation. Only minutes away from down town Garden City and Pickleville Playhouse. This family‑friendly home sleeps up to 30 guests. Two living areas and an open layout. The home backs directly to Sweetwater golf course. Offering quiet, beautiful mountain surroundings with lake views off the large backyard deck. Back yard includes a slide off the deck into a sandbox, as well as a swing set for kids enjoyment. Tons of outdoor dining, firepit, and porch swings. The home also includes a game room featuring air hockey, skee‑ball, and more.
FREE ACCESS TO IDEAL BEACH located minutes away. Ideal beach amenities include private beach access, large grass area, bbq grills, games, mini golf for small fee, HOT TUB and POOL!

Great location. Property owner very responsive. Enjoyed our stay. Could have used more supplies such as toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, kitchen utensils but overall the place was great!

We had to go purchase toilet paper to complete our stay. We could only find one blowup mattress- two were advertised. There was no standing fan in the loft, as advertised. The loftIs very warm with no windows to open. A standing fan would help a lot.We had a nice time in spite of things mentioned above.We like the location and floor plan. Advertise accurately what is there. Very fun trip!House has five bedrooms not six

Very kid and family friendly. Very clean and comfortable. We loved the games and swings, slide and firepit. The couches and beds were all comfy! Great communication with host. Kitchen was well stocked with everything for cooking. Plenty of utensils, plates and cups. Plenty of towels. Enjoyed using the two paddleboards. Love the patio and decks too. The kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft with all the bunkbeds. Would love to stay there again. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Beautiful house on golf course

This was a perfect house for our family. It was right on the golf course and gave you access to Ideal Beach which was important to us. Stephen was very easy to work with and communicated well. Highly recommend.

Nice roomy home with activities for all ages.

Lazy Bear Getaway was great for our family. We had ages 1 to 70 and it was wonderful for everyone. There was plenty of room for different activities to be happening at the same time. There was a beautiful view from the balcony that looked out over the golf course and lake. Both the balcony and the lower patio had plenty of seating space for outdoor dining.The kitchen was well stocked with cooking, serving and eating supplies. There was lots of recreational equipment, fun activities in the game room and a nice sized garage where we could store our dirt bikes and trailer. The swings and sandbox were great for our little people. It was a wonderful facility.

Bear Lake Reunion

The house is great and fit my family perfectly. The paddle boards and kayaks are a great touch and we really enjoyed them. We were short of towels but Stephen made sure that was taken care of. The access to Ideal Beach Resort was also a nice benefit. It was very hot this week but the AC worked very well. Maybe just a couple of suggestions...I would find some other material to put in the sandbox below the slide. The kids loved it but it was really hard to keep out of the house. Also, I would install a tankless water heater. With a house that can sleep 30, hot water is at a premium.

Amazing

We had a perfect time! The kitchen is well stocked they had everything you will need. The place was very clean! Our grand kids loved the game and tv room! Everyone slept well; the bedd were comfortable. The pictures and descriptions were accurate. Plenty of bedding and towels etc. The sand box, swing set, and swinging benches were a hit. We made smores at the fire pit and grilled on the back deck. The location from the deck is beautiful! We were glad to see they had top of the line carbon monoxide detectors. The ideal beach pass was awsome to have! We never had to search for a good beach or drive to the north or south end to get to a beach. Ideal beach was perfect for enjoying the lake. We would stay again and highly recommend this Lazy Bear Getaway!

Perfect Family Vacation!

This place was great for our family vacation! We had 28 family members including 19 grandchildren. The grands loved sleeping in the loft and couldn't have had a prettier view. Stephen was very helpful in helping us enter the home and the cleaning lady came right over to get us supplies that we needed and told us interesting places to visit and good restaurants in the area. The best perk was the pass to Ideal Beach. We were there everyday and enjoyed the various amenities. We also went on several hikes, the Adventureland ropes course, and Crystal Mineral Springs water park. Several of us enjoyed using the bikes that were provided. We rode up to the marina, down to Rendezvous Beach and back and forth to Ideal Beach. On the 4th of July we had a bonfire and roasted marshmallows for smores, while watching the town fireworks. With small children it was handy to be able to watch from the home. It was also perfect that there were numerous tables on the deck besides the large table inside so we had plenty of places to eat our meals. We would definitely enjoy staying here again!

Great family getaway

The Lazy Bear Getaway is a very family friendly house. Lots of fun things for kids while also having plenty of space for adults to hang out also. The loft bedroom was a great space for cousin hangouts. The house was clean, well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. I would stay here again.

Fantastic Home in a Perfect Location

We absolutely loved our stay at this home! Plenty of room for our large group. The home was clean and right on a golf course with beautiful views. Stephen was great with communication and very accommodating. We'll definitely do this one again!

Best one yet

We have been renting "cabins" at Bear Lake for several years. Hands down, this was the nicest place we've stayed. The furnishings were beautiful and very high quality. We had so much fun! I have absolutely no negatives - just one suggestion. I'm unsteady on my feet (darned neuropathy), and my husband had to assist me when I showered because there was no grab bar.

Family reunion

Lazy Bear cabin was a beautiful home inside and out. Love the decorations of a cozy cabin home setting. Made you feel comfortable. Clean, kids enjoyed the game room, sand box, amenities for all ages. Beautiful scenic view of the lake, golf course and valley. The owner responded back very quickly and was very accommodating. Had a wonderful time.

Bear Lake Family Reunion

We had 12 adults and 18 children stay at this property for our family reunion. Everyone loved it! The kids all loved the arcade type games inside as well as the slide and swings outside. We enjoyed having access to Ideal Beach as well. One more bathroom would have been helpful with so many people, but overall it was great!

Perfect by every measure

The location, the amenities, the cleanliness, all of it. It’s exactly what you’re imagining when you’re planning your family vacation and have the thought “I hope our vrbo has _____” - this place does have it, and probably a few other things you haven’t thought of yet. This isn’t a vacant house that gets rented out. This is a vacation home that’s very well thought out. You’re gonna love it. This would even be a beautiful and cozy spot to rent for a winter getaway as well.

Family Christmas Vacation

We decided to giving our children and grandchildren a Christmas experience instead of individual gifts, so we planned a cabin trip. Great idea! The children didn’t what to leave. The cabin was wonderful. The children loved the game room. The sledding was awesome. Those that went to the hot tub said it was great. The cabin had everything we needed for preparing and serving meals. Parking was good. Overall great experience. Thanks.
