«Great stay. Enjoyed the private Spa.»

«Everything is good.»

«Nice staff, great restaurant on site and great location. The hotel is a little dated but very clean and well maintained»

«Excellent stay Lovely hotel with onsen baths»

«Really the trip was spoiled from the first moment by poor management. I arrived around 2pm, was checked in and told my room was ready, but per hotel policy I would have to wait until 3pm to enter. From about 2:30 I noticed a group of women in kimonos lined up straight like soldiers and forced to stand there until close to 3pm, when it became their job to take me to my room. It was giving managerial power trip. Perhaps some guests would appreciate this pomp and circumstance, but I only felt ...

«Hanamurasaki is beautiful in almost every way. The rooms are huge and gorgeous, everything is spotlessly clean, and the location relative to the river and the rest of town is perfect. Our room had a private outdoor mineral bath. Yes, it’s very expensive, but we definitely feel like it was a worthy experience. We had omakase dinners five of our first 10 nights in Japan and our only complaint about Hanamurasaki would be that the omakase dinners were a little too hard-core Japanese for us. Most of ...

«We got such a warm welcome to this spa hotel! Super kind and helpfull staff. Huge rooms, very traditional but with all the moderne things you need for a plesant stay. So calm and quiet, huge indoor/outdoor onsen. Some of the staff speak flewent english. Get a rental car from Fukui, such a nice 40 min drive up here. Away from stress and noise in the big city. Would come back again for sure! Recommended!»
