Flott hotell litt i utkanten av byen.
Flott hotell litt i utkanten av byen. Gode gratis parkeringsmuligheter. Ca 25 minutter å gå til sentrum, bussholdeplass i nærheten av hotellet, 9-10 euro med taxi. Koselig stor pub på hotellet med livemusikk om kveldene under festivaluka. Grei frokost med det vanligeste av engelsk/irsk frokostmat. Profesjonelle hyggelige folk i resepsjonen. Greie senger, medium hardhet, kunne gjerne vært noe mykere.

Overall, the hotel was very nice. We had a great interaction with Carolina (I think this was her name) upon arrival and she was very welcoming and gave us the run down on what pubs to go to etc. We followed her recommendations and had a great night out! The rooms were decently spacious and we found the beds super cozy! The only inconvenience that we found was the rug throughout majority of the hotel (made it difficult to roll pretty heavy suitcases; we didn’t see a suitcase dolly available).

Older building but ok in general. The bed was cozy and we slept well but a little noisy. We were there over a weekend. The restaurant was lovely and staff friendly and happy to help. I would recommend it.

Slightly disappointed
Room was basic and awkward to get to. This was quite surprising considering how nice the lobby and restaurant/bar are. Shower in bathroom was dreadful. I found the changing rooms/showers at the pool weren’t very clean and quite dated.

The section of the hotel we stayed in was connected to a daycare and a fitness center. Not like a hotel fitness center, but a proper fitess center with aerobics classes.We had to walk through these areas to get to our room.

Sorry to hear about the food quality as this is something that does not present to me to often even considering the very large volume of meals prepared here but bot no doubt we have our moments and I am very sorry it was not right for you so apologies for this. Not recommended.
Unfortunately we will not be staying again. Check in was rushed with minimal information given. Our room was very far away from the lobby and difficult to find. A made of doors lifts and hallways. Things didn’t improve when we got into our room. It was a bit neglected. Burn hole in the net curtain, one curtain was falling off so it didn’t close properly, damp/dirt on the artwork… The bathroom looked dated and a bit miserable. Even had water damage on door. Breakfast was ok. But it took ages to be given a table despite having booked a breakfast time slot in advance. Another family member stayed at the hotel the same night and paid half the price for the same room. They too booked online. For this reason and those listed above we will dot be staying again, nor would I recommend staying they. On check out the person at reception didn’t even ask how our stay was. Just took the key cards and said nothing. Customer service as non existent.

Lieber Manuel,Vielen Dank, dass Sie uns über Ihren Aufenthalt bei uns informiert haben und entschuldigen uns für etwaige Mängel. Ich verspreche, dass ich mir Ihr Zimmer und die Wartungsunterlagen noch einmal ansehen werde, da dies ungewöhnlich ist. Ich bin mir jedoch nicht sicher, ob das Zimmer bei Ihrer Ankunft oder danach nicht vollständig gereinigt wurde. Was die Handtücher anbelangt, beauftragen wir einen Drittanbieter mit einem großen Wäschedienstleister, und obwohl alle unsere Bettwäsche, Handtücher usw. hygienisch sauber sind, hätten wir den Waschfleck zuerst erkennen müssen. Ich höre Sie laut und deutlich beim Frühstück und wir hatten viele große Reisegruppen am frühen Morgen, was den Druck auf die Auffüllung unserer Buffets erhöht, aber normalerweise kein Problem darstellt, aber ich weiß, dass dies während Ihres Aufenthalts passiert ist, daher tut es mir sehr leid auch darüber. Die Buchung des Frühstücks dient lediglich dazu, eine große Anzahl von Gästen zu erreichen, die nicht gleichzeitig ankommen, aber offensichtlich hat das alles für Sie einfach nicht geklappt. Our check in was very smooth. Issue with the shower… couldn’t be properly adjusted and the shower curtain was just a curtain so the floor was wet after taking a shower. Bed was big and comfortable. Sadly no closets in the room but there were places to hang clothes. Hair dryer in a drawer was a bit odd. Staff were friendly. Unfortunately we did not know that breakfast was not included in our room rate until we went for breakfast the next morning. Restaurant was nice and the food was good. Guinness at the bar was tasty. Would recommend… Hotel seems corporate but is family friendly.

I had to eat in my room as I was told the bar was busy. TV didn’t work apart from one channel decor was dull wine was undrinkable. The bed was comfortable.

Hi Barbara, Thank you for posting your review and I am sorry if there was a miscommunication from our staff on dining as normally we will arrange a table at some point, not necessarily at time of request if not previously booked which we advise all guests to do on checking in. I have no doubt the TV at this point has been dealt with and sorry we did not have an opportunity to see if it was an easy fix or to change it out for you. Regarding the wine we do pride ourselves on changing our wines on a regular basis and we have our own Buyer who carefully selects suitable and quality wines. I imagine there may have been an issue with on of the bottles or something like that but indeed I am sorry for any shortcomings. Galway is a fabulous place to visit, there will be live music wherever you go. The history is interesting, and the atmosphere is buzzing. There are many places to eat and drink and everyone is friendly and really helpful. This is a large family hotel with family themed activities. Hotel staff were helpful and courteous. We will return.
