Where to begin...Let's start with first approach. Parking was plentiful with chargers onsite. Attempting to use the chargers took 15 minutes before the "Processing" stage finished and the car could start charging. Walking up to the hotel you get "bad upkeep" vibes from the rusted out gutters, rotting wood, and other maintenance issues. Front desk staff were nice, albeit hard to understand (primary language not English or native Irish). Entry into the room instantly see stained carpet, fixtures falling off in bathroom, cracked ceiling, and rust spots. Aside from sight you're slammed with a musty smell and creeking floors under the abused carpet. Alas, no air conditioning and the third floor windows only open in the top fourth, so two 1ft port holes for air and relief from the heat that has risen from the floors below. Don't worry though, stained sheets are there to greet you before you finally try to relax from your ascent to your room, as not to forget along with no AC is no lift either. Luckily my wife sat down in the chairs first and instantly started breaking out, what a relief she didn't discover the stained sheets first! Breakfast was horrendous and paired well with the 30 minute menu wait we had for supper that never came. I would NOT recommend this location to anyone thinking it is four star and worth it, two star at best. Food & drinks: Waited 30 minutes for a dinner menu that never came. Breakfast was horrendous, I've had better MRE's.

Great EV Friendly Hotel by the Sea.
Great hotel. Very comfortable. Excellent food. Really appreciated the six EV chargers on site. Hotel looks right out on the sea.

It's one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in, even the chandeliers which were so far out of reach were spotless, this is the level of cleanliness in the hotel, staff very accommodating with every request, top marks well done, ✅

Nice views, lovely staff, average hotel
First time staying with the Connemara Coast Hotel, and if it wasn’t for the nice warm welcome by Ann Varley and Josh in the Bar, not to mention Georgina in Escape, I think I would have left and gone home. Food was average Breakfast was poor The room was lovely but accommodation severely missed several areas and in the upper floors there were people running around creating a lot of noise at night. I had a spa treatment and Georgina was simply awesome she surely knows her craft.

The staff was kind and accommodating. In fact, I forgot my phone in lobby bathroom at checkout; when I realized I was hours away and the staff retrieved it and held it at the desk until I was able to return for it. They were very sweet about the whole mess. Thank you!

Fabulous hotel, newly refurbished rooms, friendly helpful staff. Nice pool (20metres?) and leisure centre. Food very good, one of the best breakfasts I've seen! In a gorgeous spot on the shore of Galway bay.

Amazing hotel! Clean rooms, great amenities, area is just beautiful, and staff is so friendly. Breakfast was amazing each morning and the workers go above and beyond. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend to anyone!

Great location, with amazing views and rooms! The breakfast buffet was great but service in the bar area for food was very poor and made for a bad experience overall, having to chase waiters to place order and having staff say they will be right back and not show up for 45 minutes to take an order.

Nice Location
Nice location, but hotel needs some attention. No working lift and many odd and varying levels which are difficult with luggage. Also, you have to walk through most of the hotel, including dining areas, to get to the pool area.

Nice but jacuzzi broken and poor communication
Very unresponsive to communication. We booked and paid more for this property due to it having a jacuzzi/hot tub and pool. It was down for maintenance the entire time and they ignored my repeated emails and messages asking about it. This hotel was much more expensive than similar ones nearby. It was a lovely property but I was disappointed to have broken equipment and ignored communications.

Lovely Hotel with a View
Great hotel to stay at! We loved the view from our room. Super spacious & comfy. Lots of parking. Loved the short 15 minute walk to the beach. Only downside was the rooms do not have a mini fridge. The bar was great about giving us a bucket of ice if needed. We would stay here again!!

Terribly noisy with the interconnecting room, could literally hear everything neighbors were saying and they no doubt could here us. They took me to another room that had a piece of insulation in between but the interconnecting door didn't lock.

mooi hotel ,goed gelegen ,ruime parking en men kan de wagen elektrisch opladen .De bus stopt recht tov het hotel en binnen de 20' ben je in het centrum van Galway. Ruim ontbijt en lekker eten in het restaurant. Jammer dat er geen lift was vooral voor de bagage en ouder worden mensen .Dat is een aanpassing waar ze moeten over nadenken

Beautiful hotel and beautiful location! Staff were helpful. The rooms was very nice. But, be aware that they do not have an elevator and our room required us to use two sets of stairs. Luckily my husband is able to drag both of our suitcases up and down the stairs. They have a beautiful property! We were easily able to drive into Galway for a day and evening. And, the next day, we drove the Connemara peninsula. Hotel was perfectly located!

Beautiful property with great views of Galway Bay and a delicious breakfast buffet. Our room was spacious and it was worth the 20 minute drive from the city center. I will stay there on my next trip to Galway.

A beautiful hotel with amazing views! Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our morning coffee in front of the window with views of the water. We had dinner one evening in the restaurant and it was 1st class food and service. The hotel is about a 15 min drive to Galway City Centre which was convenient.

As a senior the first room we were offered had to be changed because of its location at the bottom of stairs. An elevator in the hotel would have helped.
