You can be assured of a delightful stay at this 2BR/1.5BA apartment, located in a historical house in the East End. Newly renovated with beautiful bamboo floors, your second-story quarters include an updated kitchen and plenty of living space.

A central locale puts you close to the action of the historic Downtown Strand Seaport and only 9 minutes to Galveston Beach.

LIVING AREAS

Relax in the well-appointed living room. Furnishings include a sofa, two chairs, and a 47” flat-screen TV.

The sunlit second living room comes with a futon and a pair of chairs.

KITCHEN & DINING

Whip up delicious meals in the updated kitchen, outfitted with a full suite of appliances. The kitchen also provides direct access to the back deck.

BEDROOMS & BATHS

This rental sleeps up to six guests between the two bedrooms and a futon in the second living room.

The tranquil master bedroom comes with a comfy king-size bed and love seat. Watch your favorite shows on the 54” flat-screen TV.

A second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed.

The full bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower. An additional half-bath provides added convenience.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great place but a couple quirks

My friend and I stayed here while in town for school. The place was clean and lose to the beach and UTMB. It has a cute layout and big floor plan although the kitchen doesn’t have much functional work space around sink and stove. But they did have plenty of dishes which is good. The two quirks were the smoke alarms in the hallway would go off for 20 minutes when we were just cooking eggs on the stove. It’s so high up that we couldn’t figure out a functional way to take the batteries out. They did eventually go off, but we had to open all the doors and turn on all the fans for it, even though there was no presence of smoke in the air. secondly, the garbage disposal didn’t work so the sink clogged and I ended up having to plunge it one morning so I could make breakfast. Besides that the place is great and we would stay again.

Great place

We were very pleased with the size of the place. It was nice and clean. Very roomy. Comfy beds. Rooms were a good size and I loved the big restroom. Things I would suggest that we could have used were mirrors in the room, a step stool for the high sink in the restroom and an ironing board, oh and a t.v. in the front bedroom. Other then that it was a really cool place. Would recomnend it and would stay there again.

I loved the location of the property. The home was very roomy and clean. A few things that I would suggest is putting more mirrors in the bedrooms. A woman likes to have mirrors in the rooms when getting ready. Also, for the large restroom might need a step stool for short people. The sink is really high. The disposal needs to be fixed. It wasn't working when we tried using it. Also could have used an ironing board. Other then that the place was really great. Very spacious, nice and clean.

Great Family Weekend Stay

The property is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, and the layout is great since it allows flawless traffic flow. The appliances were fully functional. The location is also nice since it is close to the beaxh which is where we wanted to spend time. Our children loved the experience and had fun. Also, the owner was very helpful during all of the process. Highly recommend this home.

It was very clean and was roomy!

We enjoyed staying at this property. It was nice and comfy! It was very far from the beach either or from restaurants either. This is only to help others. You will need to bring your own laundry detergent, extra toilet paper, cooking spices, and trash bags. Those things were not there. I would stay there again!

Wasn’t as clean as I was expecting

The pictures made the property look a lot cleaner than it actually was the couch is pretty stained (I’d suggest a cover for it) there was stains on the linens and hair on the floor even found a roach in the kitchen. We asked for our cleaning fee back and after a few days they eventually gave it back. Lastly construction started right outside our window the day we got their and started at 6 am. We also had to tell the neighbors downstairs to stop slamming and screaming at 11 pm one night. Now for the positive we had all the amenities we needed! Plenty of towels the towel sizes were great the beds were super comfortable the pillows were amazing they even had extra things we weren’t expecting like shovel and pale picnic basket a cooler that we used for the beach! The neighborhood was great and super convenient close to the beach pleasure pier and downtown it was about 15 min drive to the horses and the moody gardens. We loved the area and will probably stay in that areas again.

Lovely home

Just what we needed for our Galveston getaway. Great property with convenient location. The dryer was broken when we arrived and they immediately (within the hour!!) sent someone to fix it. The main parts of the home we used were clean. The reason I gave 4 stars vs 5 is because it could use a deep cleaning. Lots of built up dust on light fixtures, windowsills, around cabinets, etc. Throw pillows and couch could also benefit from being cleaned (they had hair and stains on them). We would stay here again.

Galveston Island

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was spacious and comfortable. Floors could be cleaner though and kitchen was not well equipped... but very good location on the other hand! It took about 15 min to walk to downtown of Galveston and 10 min the other direction if you wanted to go to the beach or the Pleasure Pier. Overall very good experience :)

Beautiful Home

Galveston is an amazing place to stay! The home is exactly as pictured, spacious and beautiful. The house has a well equipped kitchen. I do suggest bringing beach towels as there are only 6 towels provided. We had a couple issues during our stay. First there were ants. It took 2 days of calling turnkey to get someone out there. The person that finally came out said they were called crazy ants, unfortunately the spray they used did help but, did not get rid of the problem completely. The other main issue was that the air conditioner will move to 85 at night while you are sleeping. I checked for a programmed schedule and there was none, which leads me to believe someone can change it remotely which is unsettling and makes it extremely hard to sleep when you prefer it to be cool. Finally, the home is beautiful and was exactly what we needed to make our vacation relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet and truly in the middle of a great area only a few minutes from everything.
