Stella Maris is a perfectly situated home within the highly sought after Pointe West community. This fabulous and well decorated home sits a few short strides from the boardwalk to the beach. Further, it's a short ride or stroll to the Pointe West Beach Club which includes a infinity pool, lazy river, and Beach Club restaurant.

Living Room: Light and bright living room with a massive L shaped couch, perfect for an afternoon nap or family movie night.

Kitchen: Updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Fully stocked with all the essentials!

Dining: A marvelous and open dining area with plenty of seating.

Primary Bedroom: Has a queen bed and a wonderful view of the neighborhood. Also, this room has direct access to the rear porch.

Bedroom 2: Another well-designed and accommodating space to include a work space.

Bedroom 3: Fun space for kids or the young at heart.

Primary Bathroom: Attached to primary bedroom. Stocked with bath towels, hand towels, soaps, and shampoo/conditioner. Also other basics like toilet paper and tissue paper.

Guest Bathroom: Centrally located in the hallway with all needed amenities.

Indoor Living: TVs in living room, primary bedroom, and kids bunk room. Fully equipped kitchen, including coffee and filters provided.

Outdoor Living: Bayview porch off of the main living room. Beach view from the front entry porch. Downstairs is a fun place to gather, grill, visit, or layout. Enjoy the views!

General: Free wifi, keyless entry, and all the comforts of home.

The Pointe West Resort is on the most beautiful and tranquil western tip of Galveston Island. From 'Stella Maris', you can enjoy views of the Gulf of Mexico and you'll never have to leave the home to watch the sun rise or set. Take a scenic tour and quickly reach the beach or bay by using the underground tunnel.

Pointe West Resort and Beach Club, on over 1000 acres with 3 miles of private beachfront, features an infinity edge pool, hot tub, large kiddie pool, BBQ pit, fitness center, restaurant, and bar (seasonal), gift shop, access to the beach and more! The bayside features a heated pool with lazy river, hot tub, BBQ pit, fishing, crabbing, biking and hiking trails, kayak ponds and bird estuary.

Wristbands are needed for amenities usage. There is a one-time $25.00 resort fee per person, age 4 and above, for total persons of the reservation; payable to Pointe West Beach Club. Additional or daytime guests are not allowed at the Beach Club.
Minimum renter age: 25
No events, parties, or large gatherings. 7 guests are welcomed.
No smoking indoors.
Note: The property is a beach house and has stairs to the main floor.

We had everything we needed! Property was clean and the location was grest for us. We wanted peace and quiet away from the more populated areas. If your more interested going out every evening this might not be for you. Its a 20min drive back from the tourest areas.

Our family of four had an amazing week at StellaMaris! The house is spotless , fully stocked, and we watched beautiful sunsets from our back deck. The neighborhood is perfect for evening walks! The access to beach club approx 2 minutes away was a huge bonus. Any questions or concerns we had were answered within minutes by Rose. We will definitely be back! Thank you again for a fabulous week!!

Wonderful Easter Weekend 25

We had a wonderful stay and they were in communication with us and anything we needed. We had a kitchen sink clog and they had someone come the same day to repair. Great home and very close to the beach.

Misleading

Overall we had a nice stay, but there are several things I found misleading about the listing. Pros: location, home was fine, beach was private, clean and beautiful. Cons: most of the amenities were unavailable. The listing really highlighted having a restaurant on site, a game room, a gym and two pools. The pools were open and great especially the heated one. But the restaurant, game room and fitness center along with the bathrooms for the non-heated pool we're all under construction. There was a warning on the listing stating that these amenities opened at the beginning of March, which is when we traveled, and that if they were unavailable the management company would inform us as soon as possible. When we arrived it was very obvious that these amenities had been shut down for quite a long time. The restaurant is set to open in a few weeks we actually spoke with the new owner and they seemed very frustrated at the fact that there were still property Management companies out there advertising that there was a restaurant available and all these other amenities on site when they were obviously not operational. I did speak directly with the property manager, she promised a discount due to the misleading posting but that never came through and I didn't hear back from her. There was also no propane grill on site until we complained. Point West as a community is beautiful and we would definitely return, but I would never rent from this property management company again.

We were extremely happy with this rental! The property was exceptionally clean, everything was as described, the host was so helpful and easy to communicate with, and we loved the super short walk to the beach. We will definitely be staying here again!

so clean!

This property was so clean and nice! Loved it! Two second walk to beach boardwalk but that boardwalk to the beach was long! Completely private and clean beach. Was a little disappointed in cleanliness of pointe west - seemed very run down! We would definitely rent this property again and not use the pointe west amenities!

Perfect Little Paradise

Wonderful home close to the beach!

This was the perfect home for our family of 5! It was located in a cute cul-de-sac only a short walk away from the beach. Very clean accommodations, property manager was very accessible with a question we had, and we couldn't have had a better experience. Quiet and family friendly beach.

Family Vacation

This was such a cottage cute, well laid out floor plan. It really seemed much bigger than just over 1200 sq ft. Decorated lovely and very comfortably for a relaxing worry free week. Owners provided ALL the essentials for the entire week instead of the usual 1 or 2 days worth. Very quick response to any questions we had while there. Our FAVORITE place so far. 1 tiny suggestion, the knives are all very dull, perhaps sharpening or at least 1 good paring knife?

Cleanest VRBO of all time

Please please please tell your cleaning crew they absolutely knock it out of the park!! It's far and beyond the cleanest VRBO we've ever stayed at, and we have traveled quite a bit. Location is perfect, easy walk to the beach and a quick car ride to the club pools. This has to be one of best equipped VRBO's we've been to as well. Just absolutely perfect, thank you a million!!

Memorial Day Weekend 2023

Great stay for family of 5 and 2 dogs. Enjoyed the main club house, the lazy river, and of course the beach. Easy beach access, great walking paths, and all around lovely neighborhood. Home size was perfect and the main couch fit us all (dogs included) for movie night. Super comfy. Finally, communication with rental agency was above expectation. Super impressed.

Great quiet and relaxing location

Had a great trip with my mother and two dogs. Hosts checked in on us vis text multiple times to make sure we didn’t need anything. The home is well stocked and comfy. The location of the house is close to the beach with a short walk over the bridge. I love this neighborhood. No cars on the beach in this area makes it more of a chill vibe perfect for walking at sunset.
