Welcome to A Wave Away, your perfect getaway in Galveston, presented by Ritz Rentals and Hospitality. Experience unparalleled comfort and 5-star cleanliness in this charming three-bedroom home, just a short walk to the beach. A Wave Away beach house is located at the Pointe West Resort community with access to Pointe West Beach Club's pools, lazy river, restaurant and bar. Book your stay at A Wave Away vacation rental today and enjoy a peaceful stay in Galveston!

Please note that the home currently has a charcoal grill and not the propane grill that is shown in the photos. The home comes with a fully stocked kitchen and cozy living room, along with high-speed Wi-Fi. The private balcony has breathtaking views of a pond, and the outdoor downstairs space has ample room for family and friends to BBQ on the charcoal grill with picnic-style seating.

The master bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed, an ensuite bathroom, and direct access to the balcony. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the bunk room features a twin over double bunk bed, with both rooms sharing a hallway bathroom with a shower-tub combo.

For your entertainment needs, there are Smart TVs with streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime in each bedroom and the living room. Movie night awaits you with your personal log-in details.

Convenient parking is available in the driveway for up to 3 vehicles, with additional on-street parking. Essential supplies such as towels, toiletries, and basic necessities are provided.

Pointe West Resort and Beach Club, on over 1000 acres with 3 miles of private beachfront, features an infinity edge pool, hot tub, large kiddie pool, BBQ pit, fitness center, restaurant, and bar (seasonal), gift shop, access to the beach and more! The bayside features a heated pool with lazy river, hot tub, BBQ pit, fishing, crabbing, biking and hiking trails, kayak ponds and bird estuary.

Wristbands are needed for amenities usage. There is a one-time $25.00 resort fee per person, age 4 and above, for total persons of your reservation; payable to Pointe West Beach Club. Additional or daytime guests are not allowed at the Beach Club.

The restaurant, game room and fitness center are currently being renovated, therefore, you will probably only have access to the heated pool on the bay side of the resort.

Please note that all renters are required to sign a rental agreement prior to their arrival. The agreement will be emailed to you after booking confirmation. It includes all the key details that are already outlined on the listing site.

Great stay!

We decided to take a last minute trip to the beach to end our spring break. We got lucky finding this property and was a great fit for our family of 4. We traveled with 2 children and the house was very accommodating for their ages, 4 and 8- they loved the bunk beds! Very family friendly and the close proximity to the beach was exactly what we were looking for. We were able to use the camp chairs, beach toys and wagon (all provided) to load up our things for short walk to beach. The pools in the Pointe West community were also an added bonus and just a 4 minute car ride away. As described in the listing we did pay for access to the pools. The restaurant in the resort area by the pool is under construction and opening again beginning of April. The hosts were very responsive and checked in on us daily. Check in and out process was very easy. We will definitely book this property again!

Family beach vacay!

Beautiful property, cozy and welcoming. Wonderfully decorated and well maintained. Our family loved this cute beach house and will definitely be back! So close to amenities and a short walk away to the boardwalk beach entrance. Host was very informative and kept up excellent communication making the whole process smooth and seamless. We highly recommend this property and give it 5 stars!

Peaceful Vacation

This property was exactly what we needed for a relaxing vacation! We ordered groceries in town, picked them up on the way to the beach house and did not have to worry about anything else. Great communication with the property owners as well!

Terrific Beach Getaway

My husband and our two dogs enjoyed this pointe west beach house for almost a week, we found it to be comfortable and relaxing, the kitchen was good and the deck was nice to enjoy the sea breeze. It’s a short walk to the beach and a quick golf cart drive to the club house. We would go again!

We had a great stay at A Wave Away in Galveston. It was clean, well-equipped, and just a short walk to the beach. It's our favorite area of Galveston to stay in. Highly recommend!

Everything we could have asked for and more!

Lovely property, nice neighbors, easy access to the beach, even for my 71 yo mother! Beds were comfortable, great water pressure, fast hot water, heat and air conditioning on point! The only negative was cooking, as the far alarm is so close to the kitchen, just opening the preheated oven kept causing it to go off. We made cookies and biscuits for Christmas! We'll definitely be back! Oh yeah, very pet friendly neighborhood with waste bags and trash cans near by also! The owner was amazing and attentive!

Awesome management

Not only did we love the home and the location to the beach, but when our refrigerator went out the property manager swiftly went above and beyond to make sure we were set. He handled every detail so intentionally. We couldn't be happier. They even had a lovely surprise bouquet of flowers for my mom's 70th Birthday celebration. Thanks for a memorable time!

Exceptional Stay at A Wave Away!!!

This home is impeccable! It was my husband and I and another couple with two small dogs. There was plenty of space, the seating and bedding are super comfortable, even the patio furniture (high quality) with a nice view of a lit up fountain at night. They provide so many towels, wash cloths in each room that are really nice quality (plus beach towels). Something unique to other properties was how they have wired this place with electrical outlets, Rokus in each room and the Wifi was super fast (4 computers, 2 tablets, and 4 phones). If you need to work a little it's perfect. We had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen and the grill downstairs was clean and easy to use. Be sure to bring baggies, cling wrap, foil or tupperware for leftovers to store or take snacks to the beach/pool. You can get these items at a local Kroger or Walmart. The beach is a 5 min. walk and enjoyable through the neighborhood. They have walkovers with stairs or a ramp to the beach (the ramp walkover is the next walkover to the left). They have signs about the rattlesnake habitat (reason they have walkovers to the beach), so just be mindful walking near tall grasses. We never saw one. The pool and gym were great, get there by 10am weekday to get an umbrella table. I can't say enough about Keith (Ritz Rentals and Hospitality) and his consistent, timely communication. Thank you Keith for a great stay! We will come back to this home (just as pictures show).

Best spot for our small family w 2 dogs

We have stayed many places in Galveston and this is one of our top spots now. The house was very clean. It was stocked with all the things you could need. You know the things you don’t think to bring. Hand soaps body wash hair soaps everywhere there was even aloe Vera lotion in the bathrooms even had a packn play. Everything you can think of, the owners really think ahead for their guests They had beach towels and accessories they had some toys for the kids We loved the bunk bed room the kids got a kick out of all the toys there. Enough towels for use, I mean towels on counters and in drawers my son said towels everywhere! enough for the whole stay. We loved hanging out down on the porch while cooking out we played corn hole. The chairs were comfortable. They have Roku on all tvs and access to any subs you have but disney is available on all of the tvs! the color sheets and crayons by the dinner table kept our 2.5yo busy! I mean this was the most family friendly place my husband and I were both impressed! We will be back!

Wonderful getaway, worth it!

We had 4 kids and 2 adults on Spring Break and despite the cold weather, we highly enjoyed our stay at Pointe West. The hot tub and amenities of Pointe West were very helpful with this age group. Definitely plan to make it to this rental more often this year. Well stocked, very clean and comfortable!
