Thank you for the feedback, Shon. I do apologize for the issue with the smell in the hallways and rooms, please notify of this immediately, because a lot of times, we can find the issue. However, a lot of times, it is difficult to trace, just because the humidity here is high and when it gets too high, everything smells mildewy! We always want to attempt to get it resolved for our guests though!

The only thing we will not be able to do is provide much more in the way of the breakfast as we do not have any facilities in which to cook. That is why we only advertise it as a "continental breakfast." We have added, boiled egg, yogurt, fresh fruit, and additional bread items be our options are sorely limited!

I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us, Kim. Our location should be clearly visible on the map function provided by Expedia. We do have a great many guests who love the location because it is quiet compared to the rest of the island, but also within a mile of the beach, next door to Schlitterbahn and Moody Gardens. The two areas you should stay in if you like a lively nightlife would be the Strand or the Seawall and maybe you can enjoy your time on the island.

I am so sorry this happened to you during your stay, Stacie. I will address this with the staff right away. It appears that the gentleman did not share that he had agreed to waive the pet fee with anyone, so the lady at the front desk was clearly in the dark about the previous discussion. We will strive for better communications so that we do not have other guests encounter this issue.
