You find yourself transported… the sun is shining, the sand is warm, the breeze smells of salt, and
the waves are softly lapping on the shore.
Just like hearing this song gives you beachy excitations, this seaside condo sends out GOOD
VIBRATIONS too!
When you arrive at the Dawn Condominiums...just voted # condominium in Galveston...you get the feeling of being in a Bahamian village full of
brightly colored seaside huts among swaying palms and red tile walkways. Arriving at your third floor condo you
can’t help but notice the beautifully manicured grounds, two pools open
year-round (one is heated) plus a large hot tub, and several places to grill with ample outdoor seating
and tables.
Entering the condo, you are bathed in natural light from several large picture windows. The view is ether
of the luscious grounds or a gulf view (and for those who prefer to NOT be greeted by the morning sun
blackout curtains are provided) Through one of the windows you happily notice that there is a comfy
outdoor seating area on a large balcony with pool And gulf views. The balcony is the perfect spot for
enjoying sunrise coffee or sunset cocktails.

When walking back inside from exploring the balcony views you cannot help but notice the inviting
oversize sectional couch that is sure to fit all that want to watch their favorite movie, series or sporting
event on the 60-inch television/Blu-ray DVD player. Some may just enjoy sitting on the luscious teal
leather and enjoying the ambiance of the electric fireplace after a long fun-filled day at Babe’s Beach.

The next room you enter is the primary suite which has the same abundant natural lighting and views. A
comfortable king bed with luxury linens and extra soft pillows is in the center of the room facing the 55-
inch television. There is plenty of storage for your vacay wardrobe with 2 chest of drawers and a large
closet. The ensuite bathroom has a large, tiled shower with upscale glass shower door, granite top
counter and sink. Large fluffy absorbent towels provided in both bathrooms.
The second bedroom fits 2 adults and 2 children comfortably. This room has a queen bed and a twin
bunk above and a pull-out twin trundle below. Luxury linens and pillows provided for all. A TV and lots
of storage is part of this room also. The second full bathroom is across the hall. It has a combo tub
/shower and granite counter tops around the sink.
The kitchen is equipped with full size appliances (electric cooktop and oven, refrigerator/freezer,
dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and Keurig and garbage disposal) fully stocked cabinets with
wares to please the pickiest chef (pots, pans, bowls, measuring cups and spoons, strainers, and utensils,
etc.) To help with dining at the condo dishes, glasses and silverware are provided. The dining area has a
large table with seating for six, so breakfast, lunch and dinner being served will be a breeze for those
who prefer to cook. And for those who prefer to enjoy local cuisine Galveston Island presents a myriad
of choices. The seawall has a gorgeous view and a long list of eating establishments from gourmet
burgers to fine dining and world-renowned family restaurants. (To name a few of our favorites… The
Spot, Mario’s Seawall Italian and Pizzeria, Gaido’s, and The Steakhouse in The San Luis) The rest of the
island has even more to offer if dining out is your thing. (Rudy and Paco’s, Willy G.’s, Katie’s Seafood
House, and many more!
This condo offers all the comforts of home as mentioned above and it also has a full-size washer and
dryer right off the kitchen. An ironing board and iron are also provided. To add to the list of “good
vibes” from this home away from home is the fact that the convention center is only 10 blocks from
here and Walmart, lots of the restaurants on Seawall Blvd, and the beach are all easily walkable! For all
other fun venues and events the Trolley stops directly in front of the complex. The cost for a ride on the
Trolley is only a $1 and kids ride free.
The Dawn is a gated community with only one entrance. All guests must obtain parking passes and swim
bands upon arrival. No trailers allowed.

NOTES

This condo is on the 3rd floor and there are no elevators. However "The View at the Top is Always Worth the Climb!" Be prepared to take 2 flights of stairs to the front door.
All reservations at The Dawn Condominiums require a parking fee per vehicle. The fee is $40 for the first 3 nights or $50 for 4 or more per car for parking upon arrival at The Dawn.
When registering at The Dawn guests will receive their pool/gym bands (up to 6 for a one-bedroom and up to 8 for a two-bedroom) and access codes for parking gates, walk-through gates and for the fitness center. Pool/gym bands should be returned to The Dawn prior to departure.

Guests with limited mobility should consider parking and stairs to access unit, as The Dawn does not have elevators.

Outside/exterior vidoe security surveillance is present at this complex for the security of the home and our guests.
