This hotel was not clean or kept up. The room (205) we were originally put in had water damage that was just left to dry and not fixed at all. The floors were really warped and it smelled of mildew and mold. The room we got moved to was better, but again no up keep. The shower rod was broken and the sink didn't drain. We were not offended any reimbursement and we paid extra for a balcony, which we did not get. The pool and hot tub were really dirty. When we got out we had a slimey white foam covering us. I realize it was Memorial Day weekend, but when you pay $280 a night I don't think a clean well maintained environment is a big ask. DO BETTER GALVESTON BEACH HOTEL!

Won't use Expedia again. Room was dirty and musty. Bathtub was rusty and door would not shut. Floor was slippery with no carpet. Outside of part of facility had trash around it. Expedia locked us in for 4 nights and would not let us leave unless we paid extra. It is a beautiful area and this hotel had been through more than one hurricane so cannot expect a whole lot I guess. Repairs were in progress. The cost was reasonable because of the condition of the place. Will not stay again.

I loved how it was right on the beach! And had a parking garage with elevators everywhere. Very convenient. And the price is perfect for one night! I didn’t like how the pool closed early at 10 pm. It should stay open to adults till midnight at least. They should have a camera on the gate and someone watching to make sure kids don’t go in the pool after 10pm. Us grown ups need relaxation from those kiddos when they go to sleep! 😂

It’s an older hotel but I like that it was right across the street from the beach, within walking distance. The rooms are small but clean. Need to have 2 chairs on the balcony instead of just one.

Very friendly staff!! Arrived to room and found the toilet was running. I notified the front desk and maintenance came right away to fix it. The rooms were clean!! And we were walking distance to the beach!! I’d definitely recommend this hotel and I will be returning very soon!!

Good overall stay. The only complaint is about the TV. Only a few channels were available and the remote did not have the ability to select inputs (hdmi). Other than that, for the price this was a good stay. Right on the beach and the room was clean and comfortable.

Very easy to check-in and checkout! My room was very clean and the housekeeping lady was very nice when I asked to exchange decaf coffee for regular kind. I can't tell anything about breakfast and pool, since I just spent one night and weather was bad! My only concern was about the door to elevator can't open from parking and I had to walk to the other elevador with my heavy stuff

Key cards were very unreliable. Under hotel parking could use cleaning. Pricing VERY deceptive; paid three times the rate that went down in less than two hours after booking and checking in. Good point was breakfast bar. Atmosphere inside room was damp and had an odor of mildew.

It was very nice. They let me check in early. They are very nice. They are very serious and they love their customers. There was an altercation where there was 2 different couples the same night 12 am 1am ish where they were screaming and cussing at eachother in the hallway.

The room and staff were nice the last night there the people next door music was so loud the walls were vibrating and in middle off night person was banging on door threatening the occupants thought was going to get violent
