If I could this place zero stars, I would. The pictures are misleading. The “ocean view” was overshadowed by the ridiculous amount of people crammed into the pool blasting several different types of music on personal speakers while eating, smoking weed and cigarettes at the edge of the pool or on the very narrow walkways just outside the room doors. The room doors were difficult to close and lock. The walls were paper thin and could hear EVERYTHING happening at the pool during the day and all the loud cars and racing motorcycles at night along the Seawall. Could hear the people in the room next to us every time they closed a door. Heard the lock off door handle jiggle in the middle of the night and contemplating leaving right then and there. Bed and pillows were lumpy and towels scratchy. Breakfast and kitchen area was extremely small and dirty. The minimal amount of interaction we had with the polite front desk and cooks at breakfast was the only slightly positive thing I could say. NOT worth the amount we paid for just one night. Mad at myself for even booking this place. Save your money.

Location was fabulous. I was able to park the car and walk to so many places on the beach. Downtown and Moody Gardens were a short drive and the island is easy to navigate. The staff that served breakfast was super sweet and i give each of them a solid 10. Only complaints: bed and pillows too soft and squishy. Last night there some folks were playing music loudly and past midnight

This property is very quaint. They have amenities that other motels do not offer. There were plenty of pillows and towels. Usually one has to ask for more. The beds were comfortable but I will say for short people a small stool might have come in handy to get on those high beds. lol. I enjoyed the makeup removal packs and extra soap dispensers. That was wonderful. Breakfast was the same but had a good variety. Scrambled eggs, burritos, pancakes, and waffles were delicious. The cooks were friendly and efficient. I loved the grits! They offered OJ and coffee. Plus there was some fruit and cereal available. The seating is outdoors. Hubby and I preferred eating in our room since it was right next door. That was very convenient since we both have severe arthritis. The landscaping is very cheerful. Flowers and bushes are planted everywhere. You got a bang for your buck! I would love to go back to the same place.

Nothing , the pool and music at the night time was the ONLY thing convenient! It NEEDS A WHOLE LOT IMPROVEMENT. THERE NEEDS TO BE A UPGRADE ON THE PROPERTY AND ROOMS. ESPECIALLY THE CLEANING!. WOULDN'T STAY THERE AGAIN.

View of ocean was great! Old hotel that was trying to redo inside and was cute and clean. Beds were comfortable. But, they need to replace the door. Weather and time has done real damage to them. Daylight showed all around the door and didn’t feel safe. Top floor is best for viewing ocean but for those that can’t do stairs don’t bother.

How quiet it was and how nice all the staff is! I have a 2 and half year old and it’s super safe and the beds are very comfortable. The sink bath room area to is set up like a vanity! You won’t be disappointed staying here: we will be back very soon!

Right across from the beach, beautiful pool and hot tub. The bar by the pool is great, with plenty of seating. Our rooms were beautifully updated, however the bathtub floor moved when you stepped in - it wasn't supported properly before installation. Also, or rooms were upstairs, and there is no elevator, which was difficult for my disabled mother and our luggage. But overall we really liked the property and would stay there again.

Property was dated, room and common area was not very clean, beer can were in the pool, loud music was playing most of the day, our room door barely latched shut and could see daylight through the gaps all the way around the door.

Working on electrical issues. Had to move room to back. Which was fine we were just staying there because our mother had to be at tumbling for 6am the following day. We just needed a place to sleep and shower. Staffing was very nice and helpful.
