This cozy condo is perfect for your next getaway to Galveston Island! Easily spend your days in the Texas sun taking a stroll on the beach, catching some waves, or splashing in the shared pool. Kick back on the furnished balcony and enjoy the mesmerizing sunset views each evening. This quaint condo offers plenty of amenities to make you feel right at home; such as a full kitchen to cook your favorite meals and a dishwasher for easy cleanup. The cozy living space is great for snuggling up to a movie after a long day of adventuring, and you'll sleep wonderfully in the plush beds to prepare you for the next day to come. Located directly on the Gulf of Mexico, you can hit the beach with direct access. Proximally located on the island, you can plan a day at Galveston's Schlitterbahn Waterpark or Moody Gardens- just three miles away. Downtown Galveston is just seven miles away where you can hit the Historic Strand District for shopping, dining, entertainment, and the world-famous Pleasure Pier.

The facilities and location are great. We loved the pool and beach views. Unfortunately we had way too many issues with the condo. The oven/stove didn’t work when we arrived. Property management sent someone out the following day to check it, but we still had to wait until that evening for an electrician to come out and fix it. Apparently when he fixed it he must have flipped the breaker for the AC, so we had a very hot night.

Perfect location, condo kind of rough

Such a perfect location for our littles. Could walk right out to the beach without crossing a busy street. The condo was pretty worn. Some lights didn’t work. The door to the balcony didn’t latch. Little things, like having three beach towels for the group and no simple seasonings like salt/pepper in the kitchen.

Fine for the price

I recently stayed at this property with my two young kids. The complex is very well maintained by a hardworking, friendly group of folks. The pool and beach areas are excellent. There were several black birds (grackles, I think) that hung out in the trees by the pool and would steal food from tables--even if it was sealed in bags! It was interesting to watch to be honest, but annoying if my kids were trying to eat because the birds would have to be chased off several times during lunch.The rental unit itself was certainly sufficient, but was lacking in a few areas. For example, the King bed was comfortable, but there were no bedside tables nor clock in the bedroom. Additionally, there was no dresser, closet, or even a rack to keep your suitcases off the floor. The kitchen was functional, but small. It was barely stocked with the basics, though, if you were planning to cook. No spices/seasonings, no containers with covers (for leftovers), and about 3 teaspoons and 5 butter knives (adequate forks and larger spoons) for silverware. Though the balcony had a decent view for its location in the building, and was nicely shielded from the wind, the furniture was worn and old.All in all, this rental was fine for the price, but with its lack of functionality, it is clearly only a rental unit (as opposed to someone's actual vacation home). We have been to the complex before and would probably return, but only because we have other family that stays in the complex as well.

Great location, but a little disappointing

So the seascape apartment complex is in a great location with a nice pool and right on the beach, I’d definitely stay there again but not in this apartment. Needs major updates (chipped paint, musty smell, old stained furniture), you get 3 beach towels total but the listing says it’s supposed to be sleep 6 total?, fan in bedroom didn’t work, shower curtain is dirty & needs replaced, outlets in bedroom only wanted to work sometimes, and no wifi for our whole stay. This condo has so much potential and it’s unfortunately being wasted.

Anniversary Getaway

We booked this place due to location and the fact it was just my husband and I. Pictures online definitely made the place seem bigger than what it really was. No real space for clothes to go for long periods of stay. Shower head was extremely low, my six foot husband wasn’t able to even get under the shower head. Overall it was a nice place for just the two of us.

Not as advertised

Before the bad, I will mentioned the good. The location was AMAZING and the private beach entrance was GREAT. After speaking to the leasing company (Vacasa) about all the issues with the condo, we were offered our cleaning fee refunded. Hopefully, that will hit the account soon. The bed was comfortable. The place looked to have not been cleaned (swept, mopped). There were dead mosquito guts on the wall and my family of 3 received a combined 27 bites in 5 minutes (no exaggeration) INSIDE the residence. I was told it was due to the recent hurricane, which I understand, but things can be done to take care of that. The bedroom light switch did not work and the fan did not turn on at all. The bedroom TV offered ONE channel and the internet stopped working midway through our stay. On top of all of that, and perhaps the worst part...the toilet did not flush all the way, even if you held down the flusher. When the company was notified, they told us what to do to fix, but that didn't work either. Although I should add, it's not my responsibility to fix a toilet. The bunk bed light did not work. We were told that someone would be by to clean and fix issues, but no one ever did. But 30 minutes BEFORE check out, the cleaning people were there.

Not recommended 😕

This one was not very well maintained. The blowdryer only works on high, but is not very hot. The blue barstool covers are stained. The chair cushion is worn and missing buttons. The blinds by the couch are jammed and do not close. The freezer makes a very loud noise intermittently - woke me up in the back bedroom -and the icemaker does not work. The ceiling fan in the bedroom does not work and was missing a lightbulb. The bottom bunk light does not work. The microwave is rusted out in several places. The a/c intake is rusted out with flaking paint. I've stayed in other Seascape apartments that were in much better shape. Would not recommend this unit, though would stay at Seascape again - will be looking for better unit next time.

Great location on the beach (beyond the sea wall)

Comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Enjoyed walking onto the beach to collect shells and the hot tub! The grounds were impeccably kept and the security guard was also very nice. Easy communication with the owner/property management team.

The property needed painting. Location was wonderful. The pool area was lovely. We enjoyed Galveston. The condo we were in left alot to be desired. Big spill left in the freezer. The bathroom floor and baseboards were visibly dirty. The shower rod totally rusted. Shower curtain old and stained. The bed sagged. The bunk bed mattresses were box springs. We left a day early.

Dirty, Worn Down Condo

Before booking, I read several poor reviews about this property, but I thought, how bad can it really be? Well, I’m here to tell you that all the negative reviews about this place are correct. First of all, the dirty shower curtain. I don’t understand why they won’t change it out. It’s so gross. On other reviews, they reply and say it had been changed, but trust me, it hasn’t. I asked Vacasa to bring a new one as soon as I checked in and they never did nor did they really address my concern. The curtain is so dirty on the top and bottom that I didn’t want to touch it. The shower curtain rod and hooks are all rusted and the bathroom vanity if pealing. The entire unit is worn down and needs a refresh. If you simply need a place to sleep at night, this condo will work, but don’t plan on enjoying yourself inside the condo. I will it book this condo again. I have stayed in several different units at Seascape and love the building, the location, and the amenities, but this condo is terrible.

Non-working TVs in living room and bedroom

My wife and I spent a lot of time trying to reach management to fix our TVs. 3 days without a TV. You can only spend so much time out in the sun at the beach. We watched TV on my phone at night.

Great place to stay

We were happy to have such a great place to stay right on the beach. Most places are across the street from the beach but this location is on the same side of the beach. It is a secure location and all the guests are quite friendly.

Lovely property

Great location, great property. Very clean. Private beach was nice and onsite. Pool and hot tubs cleaned daily. Our unit could use some updating. Since such a small space, could have done without the coffee table, large chair, kitchen hutch and extra bar stools. View of the ocean from the balcony was our favorite spot in the mornings. Would definitely stay again.
