We had such a lovely time at the Galvestonian! Our condo was absolutely perfect—beautiful, spotless, and very well stocked. Everything we needed was provided, and we wanted for nothing during our stay.The location and proximity to the beach are fantastic. We’ve been visiting the Galvestonian for many years, but this was our first trip back in a while, and it reminded us why we love it so much. It’s family-friendly, peaceful, and the perfect weekend getaway.A special thank you to our host. You have a lovely home, and we truly appreciate you sharing it with us. We’d also like to recognize the Galvestonian front desk staff, who were, as always, exceptional—friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay.Thank you again. We look forward to returning! Location at the East end of the island is convenient to restaurants, groceries, and fun activities. Clean, well-managed, and the perfect couple or small family place to get away to!

Darkening window treatments in the bedroom due to hallway lights would be nice. The only thing we were disappointed with was the cleanliness of the beach. I would have thought they would clean the area of debris that washes in right in front of the property for guests. The location of the property is perfect; close to everything and not in the crowds. Would stay again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve been bringing my family to the Galvestonian for 20 years. But now it seems the board has lost its mind with the rules. You need a Philadelphia lawyer with you to go through all the new rules. Not exactly the laid back island resort we were hoping for for. Yes the property is nice and our condo was adequate, except for the outside light blaring through our bedroom window. The rules committee and the bureaucrats most be bored and sitting around complaining and coming up with rule after rule. I can tell an out of control HOA when I see one. Poor condo owners. The assessments must be unreal. HOA gone wild! Rules rules rules. What a shame.
