«This location provided our blended family an authentic experience in a small village on top of a mountain in Chianti. The house is surrounded by olive groves and wine grapes. The pool was great and the village, literally less than a city block up the road. Folks are incredibly friendly and helpful. Two of the rooms had their own bathrooms and the other two share a bathroom. There is a common kitchen for cooking and eating. We cooked most nights and ate on the outside terrace. «Antonella is a lovely woman who speaks a little English. We were all able to understand each other with no problem. She was welcoming and gave us a lovely glass of wine from her vineyards when we arrived. Her surroundings are beautiful with seeing olive trees and vineyards and the town of Certaldo. Our room was big , very clean and bathroom was great. I would totally recommend going to her place . They also give tours of their vineyards and olive oil factory. I wish we could have stayed another ...

"We really loved this solution for a family visit to a place like Florence, where we wanted to visit the Renaissance sites and see the art but also entertain the children. On our three-week trip around mainland Europe, this was the best stay for our kids. We were fortunate to get warm, sunny weather and they were able to enjoy the pool. Our cabin (or whatever it's called) was amazingly clean when we arrived and was perfect for us as a family of four. We ate at the restaurant once and it was good."
