Weekend Getaway
Clean, quiet, cozy, and (even though it rained for most of our time here) relaxing best describe this cabin. We'll definitely be back over the summer and hopefully mother nature will be in a little better mood this time.

Weekend Getaway
This is our second time staying at sweet spot. This time we visited in the fall rather than the summer and it was just as nice as the first time. Everything is clean and everything in the description is there. We had a washout on Saturday so we visited some local bars and restaurants. The locals and other visitors are very friendly and great food for fair prices. We spent late afternoon and evening just at the cabin relaxing by the gas stove and listening to the rain and watching tv. If you like tv just wanted to say channels are very limited and it is not a smart tv. Would highly recommend this cabin and we are already looking forward to a 3rd visit!!

Anniversary Get Away
Pine Creek Cabin was perfect for our 20th Anniversary. The cabin was impeccably clean and very cozy for two people. Everything you would need was in the cabin. All we had to do was show up with clothing. Shelly and Lyle were quick to respond and helpful with places to eat. In addition, the cabin was close to everything we wanted to do. We had a great time biking the Pine Creek Trail, visiting Wellsboro, and the two state parks. I would highly recommend that quaint cabin to all couples.

Perfect getaway cabin
This is a perfect getaway cabin for 2 people to stay. It's close to wellsboro and all the PA Grand Canyon has to offer. Its private, everything is clean. You even have access to the garage if you need to store bikes etc.

Comfortable and conveniently located, yet private and peaceful!
The Sweet Spot cabin was just as described. My husband and I enjoyed hiking, biking and kayaking the gorge (I wouldn’t recommend kayaking unless the water level in Gaines is at least 2’). But at 1.9’ we were able to make the 8 mile trip from above Gaines down to Pine Creek Outfitters with only getting hung up on rocks a few times. The area is absolutely beautiful. Everything we needed was provided, check in/check out was so easy and the communication was very prompt. We would love to return to this area again later in the year as I’d imagine it’s gorgeous here in the fall. Thank you for an enjoyable week Shelly and Lyle!!

Wonderful Relaxation in the Woods!
Our little house on a camp road was much cuter and cozier than I imagined! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is about 20 minutes from Wellsboro, which was a good place to buy groceries and browse the shops. We will be back!

The best!
I cannot find one thing I would need or ask to be changed about this cabin. Unless of coarse it could be picked up and placed on the river! 😉 Shelly was the best for answering questions or concerns. Wonderful Getaway

Lovely place
Great place, very well cared for and immaculate! Had everything we needed in terms of supplies, and well-located for us. Mostly we spent the long weekend exploring the area: hiking through blooming mountain laurel, night skies at Cherry Springs Park, walking around Wellsboro, etc. Next time we'll do the rail trail. Very nice cabin
This cabin is very nice & clean and has a nice garage we kept our bicycles in. This was a perfect location for us to ride the pine creek rail trail & go hiking. My girlfriend & i will definitely rent this cabin again. Shelly is very nice and excellent communication. We cant wait to go back

Wonderful weekend away!!
I surprised my husband with this little piece of heaven for his 50th birthday. I couldn’t have been more pleased! Very cozy and quiet. The perfect place to just reconnect. Absolutist loved the pine creek trail for hiking and the sweet town of Wellsboro was just perfect! Would highly recommend!!!

Cute Pine Creek get away

Peace of Heaven
From the minute we arrived at this Sweet Spot and discovered that it was everything and more - as described - we were Happy! The cabin amenities provided us with everything that we needed for a Peaceful, Restful, Relaxing stay. The kitchen is well stocked and plenty of cabinet space to store our snacks and food. The furnishings are comfortable to return 'home' to after a day of biking the PCRT. It was a welcome surprise to find the property also had a garage for secure storage of our bikes overnight! Thoughtful touches such as a soft throw in the living room add to the cozy atmosphere. We liked the wall racks for hanging coats and vests. We loved the outdoors of the cabin as well, surrounded by mature trees that create a lovely canopy. We are already planning a future visit! Thank you Shelly and Lyle for sharing your property with us. Everything from reserving to arrival was smooth sailing.

Last minute holiday weekend excursion
Lucked out on availability due to a cancellation...their loss, our "Gaines". The cabin is super clean, cozy, a comfortable. Great fire ring for use after a day of outdoorsy activities. Close to several local eateries/pubs and just a short jaunt to Wellsboro. Lyle and Shelly are fantanstic hosts. We'll be back !!

Too Short of a Stay
Forget that the cabin was very clean, forget that the bed was comfortable and forget that the kitchen was well stocked. Instead just focus on the quiet of your surroundings, the ease of star gazing in the side yard, the joy of a fire with the free wood provided and the proximity of the cabin to Pine Creek Trail. And if that’s not enough the access to the internet can’t be ignored. A great stay at a great cabin!

My husband and I rented this cabin for a long weekend. It had everything we needed and it was just perfect for the two of us. Nicely furnished and very clean. Made use of the fire pit and grill during our stay. Owner had good communication and was easy to deal with. Would stay here again!

Nice getaway
We enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and quite. Seemed like camps near by. The cabin had everything we needed. The bed was semi firm and comfy. So comfy my gf forget to get the brand of it. Prompt communication with the hosts. We had an incident with an unknown yellow jacket nest. It was gone before we woke up the next morning. The water pressure is okay in the shower. There is a garage with everything you could need for outside. The fire pit is nice, just one block too high though. ATT has service but Verizon doesn't. The screen door slams. It reminded me of camp as a child Very quaint. I would recommend if you're a couple looking to explore the mountains for a few days. We would stay at it again if we ever go back.

Relaxing! We did not want to cook so it was great that 4 restaurants with in a mile or two.
It was very clean and kitchen was fully stocked for those who want to cook. The outside was very nice picnic table, fire pit, and a great deck out front. It was nice to sit outside and have a drink watching all the wildlife. Even though cabins were on either side the trees still kept you secluded. We had trouble logging on to WiFi and Shells and her husband came right over to help.

Quaint and cozy ...
It wasn't the best weekend in terms of weather so we were indoors more than we had hoped but that was okay. The cabin was quaint, cozy, and comfortable. We had everything we needed. It was clean and really quite nice. It was a little closer to other cabins than we would have preferred but most of them were empty at the time and it was quiet. We would definitely go back.

Cozy weekend stay
We enjoyed a cozy weekend in this lovely little home. The house is clean and quiet. It was a great place to stay. It rained a lot, but we didn’t care. We read a lot and went on a beautiful bike ride through the mountains to Colton Point State Park. We also hiked in the park and visited the PA Lumber Museum.
