  • In a green setting, with its swimming pool and private parking, beautiful quiet house that can accommodate up to 10 people. <br>Close to amenities (shops), the ocean, the lake and the wine route<br><br>👍 Our house is cleaned and disinfected for the arrival of each tenant.<br><br>Hydroalcoholic gel is at your disposal as well as a first aid kit.<br><br>GAILLAN EN MÉDOC, is located 15 mm from the beaches of HOURTIN, MONTALIVET, lake and sea, 1 hour from BORDEAUX, a city classified as an UNESCO World Heritage Site.<br><br>We are in the heart of the Médoc near its prestigious castles (visit and tasting possible), very close to Lake Hourtin, for these freshwater activities (family swimming, sailing, paddle, canoeing, windsurfing.....<br><br>The N°1 surf spot in the Médoc 'Plage du Pin Sec ' is 15 nm away by car.<br><br>You will reside in a beautiful house of 200 m2, on 5 hectares including 5,000 m2 of parkland, in a countryside atmosphere.<br><br>The property is equipped with a private 8x4 salt water swimming pool, with alarm, surrounded by a 60 m2 terrace.<br><br>You have a covered terrace with a summer kitchen equipped with a plancha, barbecue, fridge, hob, dishwasher, oven and a bar for pleasant aperitifs. <br><br>Our house is completely and perfectly equipped. <br><br>On your arrival the beds are made. Please note that we do not provide towels <br><br> On the first floor:<br><br>The house includes a living room with open kitchen, a large TV lounge equipped with a flat screen, home cinema, canal sat...) and games room, a bedroom with 180 cm bed, toilet and bathroom.<br><br> On the mezzanine, an office space for adults, the house is equipped with a live box for your computers.<br><br> Upstairs:<br><br> 2 large bedrooms with 140 cm bed and 160 cm bed<br><br> 1 large bedroom with 2 beds of 140 <br><br>1 large bedroom with 140 cm bed<br><br>Shower room with WC<br><br>The deposit is €1,000 paid by uncashed cheque one month before arrival at the premises.<br><br>Before and during your stay, you can reach us by phone or email to help you organize your trip and/or your stay, to erase the small difficulties you may encounter during your vacation.<br><br>DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL US IF NECESSARY

Logement convivial et très bien équipé

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à 2 familles dans cette maison spacieuse et propre située sur un grand terrain arboré. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la piscine et la cuisine d’été où nous avons passé la majorité du temps.

Tout pour plaire !

Une très grande maison bien équipée , ( literie parfaite ,tout l’équipement souhaitable pour cuisiner sous toutes les formes : barbecue , plancha , fours et double cuisine été - hiver), une piscine chauffée et animée de belles couleurs pour les bains nocturnes , un environnement très calme et un jardin immense , la proximité ( en voiture) de commerces , de plages et lieux touristiques, vraiment notre semaine en famille fut réussie grâce à toutes ces prestations . Sans compter l’accueil chaleureux des propriétaires soucieux que tout se passe bien ( et venant 2 fois dans la semaine s’occuper de la piscine et du jardin ) . Nous recommandons sans réserve cette maison et souhaitons vivement y revenir pour de nouveaux séjours estivaux .

This is a very special place

Nestled in vineyards of the Medoc region of south west France is this delightful house. The pool is amazing. The outdoor cooking facilities extraordinary, in fact apart from the fairly terrible WiFi this is a great place to spend a week with a large family. Along for the trip came our grandson and we were concerned about the risk of him falling into the pool but the owners had even alarmed that. Just be aware that you need to bring your own towels but given you’ll be using them at the beach which is just 15 minutes away this really isn’t a problem. The supermarkets in Lesparre are just 10 minutes.

Un séjour parfait dans une maison tout aussi parfaite

L'équipement de la maison, qu'il s'agisse de la cuisine d'été, des 2 salons, de la piscine, des chambres ainsi que la gentillesse et la réactivité des propriétaires nous ont permis de passer un excellent séjour à Gaillan-en-Médoc.

Excellent séjour dans une maison au calme

Nous avons passé une semaine, en famille, dans la maison de Catherine. La maison est en tous points conforme à la description. Elle est vaste, spacieuse. La piscine et le parc sont un plus appréciable en été. Concernant la piscine, nous avons apprécié sa propreté, et son entretien réalisé par le propriétaire. La maison est équipée de tout ce qui est nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour. Bien que n'étant pas dotée de climatisation, elle conserve une température fraîche même durant cette période de canicule. La cuisine d'été est très pratique pour gérer la préparation des repas que l'on prend en terrasse. La maison est située dans une zone relativement calme, à proximité de Gaillan (mais une voiture est tout de même nécessaire pour faire les courses). Catherine et son mari sont faciles à contacter et répondent très rapidement aux questions. Enfin, il est possible d'aller à la plage du Pin Sec en 15 minutes, et sans avoir à supporter un circulation importante. Bref, nous avons passé une excellent semaine, et pu découvrir la région tout en profitant du confort de cette maison.
