This 110 m² two-bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor has easy access with two lifts. The spacious living room features a comfortable sofa, TV, and a dining area perfect for relaxing or sharing meals. Step onto the private balcony to unwind and enjoy the view of the Praia Formosa rock.

The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need—stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer, dryer, and all essential cookware. Both bedrooms have queen beds with hotel-quality linens, and with two full bathrooms (one ensuite), everyone has space and privacy. Fresh towels and toiletries are provided for an easy, worry-free stay.

We are GuestReady, a property manager, and we want to ensure your stay will be as smooth and comfortable as possible. We are available 24/7 should you need any assistance during your stay. Kindly note that this is a personal home, so please take good care of it as if it were your own.

This property enjoys a prime location in Funchal, right beside Praia Formosa, the island’s largest public beach. Stretching almost two kilometres across black sand and pebbles, it is perfect for swimming, seaside walks, and enjoying Madeira’s coastal beauty. The scenic Lido promenade also begins here, offering a wonderful route for a leisurely stroll with ocean views.

Praia Formosa is well equipped with facilities such as showers, changing rooms, toilets, a medical kiosk, and even a playground for children. Guests can also explore the tunnel carved through the rocks, which leads to the natural pools at Doca do Cavacas, a unique highlight of the area.

There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby, including Beira Calhau, Barra Azul, Aconchego Restaurante, and Docas Café, all serving fresh seafood and Mediterranean dishes with beautiful views of the sea.

For a taste of culture and history, the historic center of Funchal is just a short journey away. Highlights include the Fort of São Tiago with its panoramic Atlantic views, the charming cobbled streets of the Old Town, and the lively Mercado dos Lavradores, where you can discover local produce and crafts.

The property is easily accessible by public transport and by car.

The nearest bus stop, Praia Formosa T-43, is just a 1-minute walk.

Madeira Airport is a 21-minute drive from the property.

This is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before enter into the property. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
