Guests have private access to the full home, including both kitchens, all four bedrooms and three bathrooms, the screened porch, hot tub, barrel sauna, outdoor living areas, and Blackstone griddle. Self check-in makes arrival easy, and the fully paved road and driveway make access straightforward year-round.

The home sits in a peaceful wooded setting near Front Royal, with one of its biggest advantages being the close proximity to Buzzard Rock. The trailhead is within about a 5-minute walk, so guests can head out for a hike without getting in the car. From the property, it is also easy to reach Front Royal, Skyline Drive, Shenandoah National Park, local wineries, restaurants, and other attractions throughout the northern Shenandoah Valley.



Getting Around:

A car is the best way to explore the area. Both the road to the property and the driveway are fully paved, so access is straightforward. Rideshare service can be limited in this part of the Shenandoah Valley and should not be relied upon for transportation. Buzzard Rock is the exception, with the trailhead close enough to reach on foot in about five minutes.

🥾 Buzzard Rock • The Buzzard Rock trailhead is within about a 5-minute walk of the property, making it especially easy to head out for a hike without getting in the car. Trail conditions can vary with weather, so we recommend checking current conditions before heading out.



♨️ Hot Tub + Sauna • The private hot tub is located inside the large screened porch, while the traditional barrel sauna is located on a separate porch. Both are available for guest use during your stay.



🔥 Propane Fire Table • The screened porch also includes a propane fire table, giving you a comfortable place to gather without having to build or maintain a wood fire.



🍳 Outdoor Cooking • A Blackstone griddle is available for guest use. Please clean the cooking surface after use and follow the instructions provided at the home.



📶 Connectivity • The home has reliable WiFi suitable for streaming, browsing, and staying connected. Cell service can be less reliable in parts of the Shenandoah Valley, so WiFi calling may be helpful.



🚗 Getting Here • The road to the property is fully paved, as is the driveway. A car is still recommended for exploring the area, and rideshare service can be limited.



🦌 Wildlife & Surroundings • This is a wooded setting close to hiking and natural areas, so you may occasionally see deer or other wildlife, and the occasional insect is part of being close to nature.



🧹 Property Care • We occasionally make updates to keep the home comfortable, so a few furnishings may differ slightly from the photos. Landscaping, hot tub service, or other exterior maintenance may also occur during a stay. These visits are brief and do not require access inside the home.
