This comfortable, spacious home bestows beautiful views of both sides of the Shenandoah Valley. Located on the hilltop on a private 10 acre parcel, Summit Hill has magnificent views of the Blue Ridge mountains, as well as memorable moonrise evenings and starlit nights.
The house includes 5 bedrooms, each with idyllic vistas, and 3.5 bathrooms. An upper balcony spans the length of the house above a gracious patio. Both overlook a private pond for kayaking or swimming. It also has a sauna!
The property offers a boat landing to the Shenandoah River a mile down the road. A mudroom for getting doggy naps in or just hanging out your bathing suits to dry is between you and the pond! Rockland park is adjacent to the property with a playground and trails for dog walking, paved paths for bike riding, or golf frisbee for game lovers.
The winter guests will have their hygge needs met with a good book and cozy wood burning fireplace. For those interested in food, you will find a generously proportioned, fully stocked kitchen. A large island with counter height chairs is waiting for breakfast buffets, a cup of Joe and the like. Common areas have window seats for a tête-à-tête. There is ample space for dining in or out. The separate dining room offers wall to wall bookshelves to nourish the soul while nourishing the body during your visit. There is a dining table and chairs on the back patio as well. There are numerous outdoor seating getaways around the premises.
