The view from the property was great! The property was clean and looked as it was presented. However, the shower was horrible - the undersized on-demand water heater barely made the water beyond warm, and that was with EXTREMELT WEAK water pressure.

Heavenly getaway!

We were fortunate to have the hill too ourselves, beautiful view from hill, but views limited in cabins 2, 3 & 4. Cabin 1 had the best cabin view. Cabin 3 & 4 is a duplex with only a latch door to separate you. We stayed in cabin 3 it was very clean and quaint. Enjoyed a quiet night on the hill with a firepit and the fire wood provided. The hot tub was very nice, but located down by the main house which requires you too drive down and park . The host was very polite and helpful when available. The cabin has alot of extras , flashlights, coffee , small microwave and small fridge. Paoli and french lick are just a short drive away. Awesome getaway. Thank you.

Beautiful view with missing information

I will start off by saying the view was incredible. The cottage was modern and had everything we needed. Overall the cleanliness was ok. Could have used a better deep clean. No where in the listing does it say this is a duplex which is misleading. You wouldn’t know unless you read the reviews which I did so I knew. However, it is not a true duplex that is separated by a complete wall. This is more like conjoined hotel rooms that are separated by a looked door. We could hear the other tenants well which I’m sure they could hear us as well. That is stressful when you have children. I will also say the pool/hot tub was very misleading. It is at the main house which requires a drive to it. It needs some major upkeep and updating. They were both in need of cleaning. The hot tub had a missing piece so it shot water out. We only used these once. We found ourselves leaving a lot to keep the kids occupied and not be noisy there. I would say it is definitely more for adults and not the best place for kids.

Perfect weekend getaway

We were attending an event in the area and wanted to find something other than a hotel, something unique. This listing hit the mark. The cottage we stayed in sits on top of a hill overlooking a 110 acre estate with wonderful views. In total there are 3 cottages and a cabin. The cottage we had was the one pictured, which is split into a duplex. Our side was a 2 bed 400sq foot cottage with an apartment style kitchen, nice living room with large tv and fireplace, plus a private deck. The other half of the duplex is a 1 bed 175sq foot cottage which also had it’s own deck and front porch area. There is also a separate 1 bedroom 120sq foot cottage. All of the cottages have a shared patio area with fire pit and grill. On top of the hill near the parking area is a very large deck with wonderful views. The property also offers a 2 bedroom 300sq foot cabin. The pool and hot tub are down at the main estate house at the bottom of the hill, so available but not next to the cottages. Overall this property had everything we were hoping for: Private, secluded, quiet, comfortable and spectacular views. It’s also a quick drive for gas, groceries or a bite to eat. I think we’ll be staying again in the future.

Beautiful relaxing stay!

I’m certain this place was a fairy tale in its prime! The location, the set up, the pool…. We loved it and will absolutely return however, it feels like it’s a fairy tale forgotten. It is in need of some TLC and routine updates. I would love to know the history of this home and the grounds and wish that it was ours. If you’re coming with kids, know that the fridge is cold but very small. You will need a cooler to keep drinks and snacks. That would be our only “negative” regarding the cottage. The beds were very comfortable, the furnishings, the window treatments for privacy… it’s all great. The walk to the seating area was short and uphill but easy. The view was amazing. We had storms all three days but we were still able to enjoy the seating area and then the pool down the hill as well. The grounds person was very friendly. He checked on the property each day after each storm. There is also a beautiful horse on the property that was free range. We were surprised and a bit startled at first as the kids were out of the car to run up the big hill. It gave us a good laugh once we knew there was no danger. We loved this stay. We plan to return and recommend this to our friends and family.

Disappointed

I should have questioned more, but didn’t. The caretaker who was supposed to give us key was on leave of absence when we arrived and we weren’t given alternate instructions prior. Another person showed us to our cottage and after a few minutes we realized it wasn’t what was booked. We were then shown to the actual reservation, but it’s not what we expected. The “cottage of 800ish square feet” is actually a duplex, so our space wasn’t 800 square feet. I saw another review saying they had a duplex but I thought that pertained to another site. Our listing didn’t say a duplex. Luckily someone only stayed there the second night but you can definitely hear walking and such through the walls. We weren’t bothered by that but I could see potential dissatisfaction for others. The good things: The view is beautiful- the furnishings were beautiful - the firm bed was very comfortable, shower good, nice tv The bad: When searching for a property a pool was most important. The pool was dirty. It had a skimmer plugged in but it wasn’t operating until the day we left. We didn’t swim. The hot tub was apparently broken and smelled like mold. I didn’t click on “see all amenities because I saw it had stove and refrigerator, which we wanted so we could cook all our meals there. If I had clicked that portion open I would have seen it only had one induction hot plate without instruction, a small sink and a tiny fridge. The grill was charcoal and we weren’t prepared for that.

Our house was a duplex which we knew going into the trip. The downfall with this was the neighbors. They were early risers and we could hear them through the walls. There patio was outside our bedroom so we could hear them when they were out there moving furniture around. If you are staying at this resort I would recommend staying away from the duplex and renting one of the single homes instead. Tammy was great with walking us through the check in process. She also was very knowledgeable of the area. She gave us great recommendations of things to do while we were there. Even though this place had great views I probably wouldn’t return.

Best Property in Paoli

A+ experience staying at Blueberry Hill Estate. We live in Indy and stayed here for 5 days. Just a little getaway for us. Drinking and hanging out. Tammy and crew were great. She was always always just a text away if we needed anything. Quick to respond and very down to earth. Scenery looking down the hill is beautiful! Property was clean and was everything that was advertised. I would recommend this property staying for any length of time in Paoli.

Lovely property!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Great location near West Baden and Frenck Lick. We enjoyed several day trips to the caves and resorts while also enjoying some down time at the pool. Really enjoyed the beautiful view from our hilltop cottage. Would highly recommend this lovely space.

Relaxing

It was very peaceful. My husband and I had a very relaxing and restful weekend. The place was very peaceful. The ad is a little misleading. I thought the pool was private to our cottage only but it's not. It's for everyone there. Our cottage was also like a duplex but we could not hear the other guests. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay and everyone was very friendly.
